i have x2-01 one year old model i am not able to download any application at my cell as it is telling that it has no memory only 16.1 mb of phone memory is in use i download a song and its download get failed in between and after that my free memory of phone get low how to clean such files if i go for soft reset will it delete ovi browser, push mail , gtalk ( all these applications are there when i bouth the cell)

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia x3-02 and I detected a strange behaviour when I try to store a number in the phone memory.I try to explain with a example:If you have stored the number 1234567 in the phone memory with the name USER1.Then I want to store another number 661234567 ( the two first are different, but the last seven numbers are equal ) with the contact name USER2, the phone give a message that the number is in use for USER1.It seems that only the last 7 digits are evaluated to determinate is the number is the same in this phone. I been tried this on a 2730 and the result is the same too.

If I open some portal and click on few pages (one at a time) very often I got out of memory problem and Opera Mini quits. I have to start it again. I don't know how to free up more internal memory, as there is 50MB of it and I moved all programs and files that are not locked to memory card. Now there is a little more then 23MB of internal memory free and that's all I could free up. All other is taken by system files and folders.

I'm sure there are no application running other than browser, i'm using the default browser coming with nokia. Why is this happen? The space in phone memory has plenty of space. I'm not sure how to check the RAM space.I saw the spec have 128Mb RAM. My homescreen theme is using the "shortcut bar" theme. All the stuff are original, didn't install much application on it.
