Jun 6, 2012My nokia X6 has lost all sms stored into mass memory including the sms folders. I am looking for any way to recover them.

Nov 6, 2010Whenever i connect this phone to PC using Mass storage mode
it shows the drive but when i open it, it says "please insert in drive..." or when i check drive properties, it says Size availble as 0 and used also as 0.
In short, it is not detecting the memory card although it works fine with OVI

Aug 10, 2011I am facing a problem in Nokia X6 8GB. When I connect my phone to PC, usually there comes a list of 4 options(Ovi suite, Mass Storage, Image Transfer, Media Transfer). And i could connect phone to PC in all modes. But now, when I connect my phone to PC in mass storage mode, it automatically switches to ovi suite! I can't connect it in mass storage mode . But I can access mass storage when I connect my phone in Ovi suite mode. And I can copy files to and from mass storage. But I can't connect in mass storage mode. What might be the reason. Pls say ur valuable opinions and answers...(I have already did formating many times(both mass storage and phone). But still the problem exists)

I have problem when i wish to format mass memory on my n95 8gb.I uninstall all applications from mobile so app manager is totaly ampty, Nothing is inside...Problem start when i wish to format mass memory using phone. There is worrning, that some application is still runing ?! and asq me am i shure. And it format it. I don`t like that advisory, and wish that he format mass memory without that. 1. hard reset my phone
2. reinstaling the firmware (it is 35.0.001)
3. i tray to format it on my pc wit quick format
4. normal format.
But in bouth case, when i formated mass memory on my pc (windows 7), and tray to format it again using my phone, first time is ok without any warning about runing application. Second time there is warning.
Nokia :: Ovi Suite For Mac - Access The Mass Memory
Mar 11, 2010I think my N97 is playing up. I cant take photos as it says my E drive is full which is nonsense as I only had 5 pics on there no music or video!. When I went to file manager it wont let me access the mass memory as it says "memory in use". I thought if I synced it up to my Mac i could somehow get into the E drive and see what the problem is but low and behold its not compatible. I've had a look on here for Mac versions and theres lots of people talking about it but no links or descriptions as to where I might find it!. I sync is useless as this just does calendar and notes. I need something that will let me access everything on my phone.

So the phone was master reseted before any of my pictures or videos were backed up. Jan 1, 2010I have been trying to copy some sound data files to the mass memory but it is now saying it is full at 32,252,480KB (32GB) according to PC Suite view. I have added very little but have moved a lot of folders around to organise them better for an audio player and deleted many large folders at the same time, so it should not be full.When I look in File Manager on the phone it says there are 26.4GB free.As a test I deleted another large folder. The free memory according to the phone increased accordingly but the used memory in the PC Suite stayed the same.Surely it does not keep copies in all the previous locations or in some sort of Recycle Bin? If so, how do I empty it?If it is full, why does the phone says it has 26.4GB free? (it is GB not MB!!)

Aug 19, 2011I encounter this problem, usually when I browse. I usually browse with Opera Mini. If I open some portal and click on few pages (one at a time) very often I got out of memory problem and Opera Mini quits. I have to start it again. I don't know how to free up more internal memory, as there is 50MB of it and I moved all programs and files that are not locked to memory card. Now there is a little more then 23MB of internal memory free and that's all I could free up. All other is taken by system files and folders.
