I just got an X6. I don't have experience with any other nokia smart phones.So what is the function of SIP settings under Settings->connectivity->admin settings? Is it supposed to allow you to make VOIP calls? I read in the forums that a lot other phones can be made doing so. If this is the case, how do I setup my profile? I keep on getting "registration fail"

View 3 Replies View Relatedupgraded my X3-02 to firmware 5.60, but failed to backup before the update. The results, an empty fone with a new firmware, with everything else is now gone. The fone settings, certificates, apps, even OVI store now is not in the phone anymore.Trying hard to find all over the net to find solution for this. I thought maybe if i can at least get Ovi Store back, then i can install back all the missing apps. However its impossible to find the Ovi Store installer for X3-02 anywhere. Trying to install apps through web browser always give me certificate error. always.
I figured, maybe, just maybe, the best thing to overcome this is for someone to help me on the backup. Maybe other X3-02 user can help, if you dont mind, backup your data settings + applications into a file, and send it to me so i can restore that to my fone. dont mind any extra games@apps Some default apps (e.g: facebook) are not available to install from anywhere, isk. also i need back the missing certificates, and owh, OVI store!

View 3 Replies View RelatedToday we started spring forward in the US. When I turned on my phone, it looked so different. My X2-01's home screen was changed, the internet was gone, my phone numbers on the phone were all gone. All the default themes and tones are gone. I checked my calendar, all my appointments were gone. Even the games that originally came with the phone, they were all gone. I tried to access the Internet via Menu, no luck.I was on the phone with T-mobile helpdesk almost an hour today, no luck. They e-mailed me the Internet settings etc and I did all step by step, no luck. It looks like the phone has crashed after daylight settings. I can still make phone calls and receive text messages, but it's pretty much what only I can do. Last night all I did was turn it off before I went to bed and turn it on in the morning.

View 7 Replies View RelatedIn the video settings it is impossible to activate the audio recording. All other settings can be enabled / disabled but the audio recording can be activated. You can click on the parameter, it is not frozen, but the option enabled will not activate.X7 model cell received September 30, 2011. I tried to reinstall the software, but this has not fixed the problem. No update is available either for the software.Is this a isolated issue where I must return the unit to exchange it while I'm in my 30 days of rembourssement or X7 offers HD recording without sound?

I have managed to set up several email accounts by simply going into the 'email" option in the "messaging" menu, but I can't set the phone to check for emails automatically or to notify me of new emails, etc, etc, in other words, I have no menu option, for adjusting the settings for emails. I am running the latest version of the software

View 3 Replies View RelatedI bought a new Nokia X3-02 mobile last week, Since the day I bought the phone it keeps restarting all the time, I tried reset to factory settings, and even upgraded firmware to latest 6.00 version. Even then it keeps restarting all the time. I am a regular Nokia Mobile phone user for many years with varieties of Nokia Phones, but this phone really made me desperate. When I goto the salesman, he asked me to goto service centre. And it started eating lot of my time running behing this problem between service centre and shop. Service centre says they can't do anything on this restart problem. I paid almost 8000 Indian rupees for this phone. Local chinese mobiles abailable in market are found more reliable atleast for the first fre years.

Texting took forever.Anyway,with the S.E.'s you could store your text messages on your memory card,but with the Nokia I can't seem to find that option.I'm getting,"phone memory full",messages.Surely if not by default you can store your texts onto your sd card on the Nokia?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have just got myself a nokia x6, but I seem to be having problems with ovi maps and using the integrated GPS... It simply will not connect. I have text at the top of the map stating 'waiting for gps' and that is it at the time I was out side in the open and in a place where my e72 could easily pick up siginal with 4-6 bars green on the E72.
I went into the settings, and checked there, and all seems fine, integrated a-gps and network based where all checked, so I unchecked network based and A-gps but still no joy.
I am not sure of what the problem is and hope that it can be resolved with your help
