I have just got myself a nokia x6, but I seem to be having problems with ovi maps and using the integrated GPS... It simply will not connect. I have text at the top of the map stating 'waiting for gps' and that is it at the time I was out side in the open and in a place where my e72 could easily pick up siginal with 4-6 bars green on the E72.
I went into the settings, and checked there, and all seems fine, integrated a-gps and network based where all checked, so I unchecked network based and A-gps but still no joy.
I am not sure of what the problem is and hope that it can be resolved with your help

I have nokia x2-02. My default browser is nokia browser.Few days before i updated it.After that it is not opening and showing this message " conflicting application:show items?" and it is nt working even after restore all. I hav a big problem.
I have Nokia X2. I am able to explore all the sites on my mobile but not able to download Nokia phone software by using my Nokia X2 phone. Error giving is " Software not getting downloaded"
The battery on my phone needed charging as the battery icon was on red, it was due to go off anytime and I wasn't surprised when my phone eventually turned off. What I wasnt prepared for was everything being deleted from my phone, this is including all messages, photos even the games that were already installed were gone. So has the ovi store. Literally everything. This comes 2 weeks after the keys locked and i couldnt turn it on.
Nokia X7 brings music, games and videos to life on the massive 4 inches touch screen - sounds good - and I am very interested in this phone, but I can not find any information on an internal FM Transmitter in the manual...
- Has Nokia forgotten about this very very requested feature in this "Big Entertainment" Phone?
- Would the FM trasnmitter Software from C7 work on a X7?
connecting to pc vis modem mode. After, i install on touch accsees, phone switches to ovi mode and it doesnt connect my pc to intrnet via phone. Also i want to know is it possible to connect my pc to internet via x7-00 using wifi.
I've purchased my new new nokia X2 01 mobile in month june 2011. Since last week it keeps on swiching off frequently. There is no problem of battery charge.I've also visited Nokia care regarding this. They have updated the software but problem is still existing.
A few days ago my nokia screen got frozen so i switched it off, when i tried to turn it back on it will not work, i have tried charging and also swopping the battery but no luck it will still not power on!.If i wanted to give it in for Repair-which i can not do,because i can't back up my phone from images, videos, music etc.
I bought a new Nokia X3-02 mobile last week, Since the day I bought the phone it keeps restarting all the time, I tried reset to factory settings, and even upgraded firmware to latest 6.00 version. Even then it keeps restarting all the time. I am a regular Nokia Mobile phone user for many years with varieties of Nokia Phones, but this phone really made me desperate. When I goto the salesman, he asked me to goto service centre. And it started eating lot of my time running behing this problem between service centre and shop. Service centre says they can't do anything on this restart problem. I paid almost 8000 Indian rupees for this phone. Local chinese mobiles abailable in market are found more reliable atleast for the first fre years.
I've just got the Nokia X3-02.I've been a Sony Ericsson user for years and years,but chose the X3-02 for it's keypad having no look getting used to the S.E. touch screen models. Texting took forever.Anyway,with the S.E.'s you could store your text messages on your memory card,but with the Nokia I can't seem to find that option.I'm getting,"phone memory full",messages.Surely if not by default you can store your texts onto your sd card on the Nokia?
I just got an X6. I don't have experience with any other nokia smart phones.So what is the function of SIP settings under Settings->connectivity->admin settings? Is it supposed to allow you to make VOIP calls? I read in the forums that a lot other phones can be made doing so. If this is the case, how do I setup my profile? I keep on getting "registration fail"
I can't update my Nokia X7-00 and I can't even find an update for my phone! When can I update my Nokia X7-00? My phone product code is 059G7G9. when I can update my phone.
I don't have the option to turn the 3G signal off. There's no setting for the dual mode or gsm. Only Operator selection and cell info display options are available. By the way i'm using a Rogers Canada X7. I want to conserve the battery more, so gsm mode will suffice.
i am having problems refreshing podcasts on my x6. last night i tried to add 3 podcasts ( they are bbc ones which i have subscribed to weekly for years). even though they all show up when the phone is connected to the computer . the library doesnt seem to recognise them !!. I have tried to delete the old folder on my phone as wondered if that might help. but have an error message 'general system error.
I brought a Nokia X6 about 5 months ago in Saudi Arabia and i've been using it for some time..But when i brought it to Sri Lanka ..the mic stopped workin after 1 or 2 days..I took it back to Saudi to fix but it worked perfectly there again..Then it broke again and i gave it to the Shop i brough it from..They changed da mic but it broke after few days.
i tried to update my X6 but i can't sign in with the Nokia Suite .. tried to uninstalled it but still the problems remains, it said my internet connection must be checked, but the internet is do fine.
