Everything is working fine after Belle update but when I go to menu>settings>installations>already instaled - the screen just freezes and the only buttons that work is the camera button, menu button and power buton. When this happens, I turn off my phone and turn it on again and everything is normal, but the problem still exists.

I do not recall if my touchscreen used to freeze before the update. However, I have tried downgrading back to the old OS and this does not work. I have a bug while trying to install Nokia Store v3.30.014. The install hangs on a white screen with the text "Please wait. Installation will take few minutes" and a progress bar which never shows anything. However, not knowing when did the problem start, the screen occasionally turns on and off automatically as if I press the power button. The screen turns on and off for exactly 5 times every time and this repeats for like every 10mins. The problem will solve if I restart my phone but the problem comes again whenever it likes. Could this related to any apps (task killer, etc...) I have installed? Or some bugs or something in the system? This could seriously drain my battery flat if the problem left not noticed.

Once the error message appears I have to take the battery out as the phone freezes up, how do I fix this? Have checked for software updates for the apps and the device and nothing is available.
I just got my new S5 today. One weird thing I'm noticing is static on screen when the phone lags occasionally. It doesn't happen very much, but it's jarring to look at.
I'm wondering if it's normal (new phone software bugs) or if my phone has a hardware problem. I hate to return devices. so if it's just a software bug and others are experiencing it, I'm OK with that. I did a search and nothing came up, and I haven't seen it mentioned in any review.
My nokia n95 8g was working great , until yesterday the screen freezes and when i closed it and opened it again , the screen was black and also there is no sound to show that the problem is in the screen, the only thing that i can see is the light of the menu keys,I removed the battery and putted it again and still nothing,Please help.

The phone will ring, I'll answer the call and have the conversation, no problem. But when it comes to ending the call, the screen freezes with 'Joe Bloggs Calling' on the screen and I have to turn the phone off to resolve it. (no response from the screen)

I can not turn off reminder.When I press lock button (lock switch) the screen lights up and working fine until display light goes out.If I turn light off with lock switch I do not have that problem. I have V 22.0.110 and auto. keyguard on off.The problem with the screen freezing is very annoying if I forget to press lock button.

I've tried restarting the device, even switching off the sensors but it takes several frustrating attempts before it starts working again. Nokia had better do something about this in their next firmware.

I rebooted a couple of times (depressing the power and volume down). It worked once but then froze up again. Taking out the sim and putting it back in seems to reboot the phone, which works, sometimes, but freezes up again as soon as the screen lock is activated.

The main problem is when I am in the Text Messaging screen it completely freezes before I can open a conversation. Also, if I want to start a new text conversation the To: field won't let me copy from my contacts or even type in a number. the phone also freezes when I am trying to look up a number in the contacts to make a call and while I am on a call I can't hit end sometimes. There is also an over-all sluggishness to the phone but I think that is because of the low volume CPU. I am upgraded to 2.1. I have tried to reboot. And reset the phone completely. I wonder if there is a way I can turn off or delete motoblur and just use the android?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a 16GB Nokia n96, and it was working completely fine till a couple weeks back the screen went blank, so i assumed it had switched itself off. I took the battery out and tried switching it back on, but the screen didn't come on. The phone vibrated once like normal on start-up, then the keypad lit up and the buttons on the slide-up bit, but nothing can be seen on the screen. I can also hear the beeps when i press different buttons, and also I could remember off by heart where my music player was on it, so i pressed the right buttons and my music actually started playing!

When I turn the phone on, the screen is multiple coloured vertical lines across it, and can't see the software number pad to unlock the phone. I clicked OK to move to the memory to delete, but unable to move from the blank space.

I have bought it and hard reset it yesterday with button combination and also with factory settings option.Now, the problem is that when i start any installation, it asks to install it. When i press ok it proceeds to neXt dialogue, either asking for permissions or asking to close an app, depending o the sis file.NOW, a moment before this dialogue, i get totally black screen for milliseconds. And then i cannot touch any button when the prompt appears. I can switch to menu and hs using hardware keys but cannot touch anything on screen. Long pressing menu key allows me to touch the screen and close apps but i can't touch anything else. I can also use power key menu to shut down mobile.Everything else is normal otherwise, i even installed many apps today successfully but now this problem occurs.
