Oct 15, 2011An NPS icon has appeared on screen of my Nokia 701. What is it ? It shows as shortcut for applications. It cannot be opened or operated. How to get rid of it ?

Sep 17, 2012missing camera icon after the home screen containing it deleted.can find and use camera via file manager but can't create a new shortcut on the remaining screen nor within application.system is Anna which I'm gonna keep and I don't to wipe either because all my settings haven't been restored previously.is there an alternative to that getting the icon back?

Mar 31, 2012- The SMS icon, in the top bar, is constantly blinking. I read on nokia help that it meant my inbox was full. Or it's not. It's almost empty (10 SMS). How can i turn off that ?
- A second problem is the SMS notification, that appears as a wild sequence of TV commercials would do during your favorite tv show : very annoying, whatever the circumstances. The popup forbids me to do anything quietly and peacefully, i'm interrupted and have to click on it in order to make it disappear. (I don't care if Mr X is harassing me while i'm browsing the web)

Feb 10, 2012Ok so i updated Belle and Number 1 shows me between network name and singal/batery icon Thats line in use 1/2. I able to hide that number (icon) on display that doesnt show me what line i use e.g 1 or 2.I didnt have this issue on Anna it appears now when i updated to Belle.So can someone tell me can i hide it or turn off that doesnt show me "what line i use" and its appears when i call someone or someone call me "name of caller and Line 1"

Aug 31, 2012I have completely lost GPS functionallity. Recently before a couple of days ago the GPS lock was playing up a bit (failed to lock a GPS signal, but GPS icon was visible). Then a couple of days ago I was unable to get a GPS lock at all and the GPS icon failed to show. Oct 26, 2011I have a 16GB Nokia n96, and it was working completely fine till a couple weeks back the screen went blank, so i assumed it had switched itself off. I took the battery out and tried switching it back on, but the screen didn't come on. The phone vibrated once like normal on start-up, then the keypad lit up and the buttons on the slide-up bit, but nothing can be seen on the screen. I can also hear the beeps when i press different buttons, and also I could remember off by heart where my music player was on it, so i pressed the right buttons and my music actually started playing!

I have bought it and hard reset it yesterday with button combination and also with factory settings option.Now, the problem is that when i start any installation, it asks to install it. When i press ok it proceeds to neXt dialogue, either asking for permissions or asking to close an app, depending o the sis file.NOW, a moment before this dialogue, i get totally black screen for milliseconds. And then i cannot touch any button when the prompt appears. I can switch to menu and hs using hardware keys but cannot touch anything on screen. Long pressing menu key allows me to touch the screen and close apps but i can't touch anything else. I can also use power key menu to shut down mobile.Everything else is normal otherwise, i even installed many apps today successfully but now this problem occurs.
