Is there a way i can set the resend time for txt? you know when the message failed to send it will automatically send message again after 5mins, but 5 mins is too long., i want it to resend after a minute or so. 5 mins and this resend became so useless to me
View 1 RepliesThis drives me nuts: Occassionally, but not often, I will send a text message and it does not go through.This happens both when I am using iMessage or regular text messages. It gets me into a lot of trouble I assume my text message has gone through, then check my phone half an hour later and realize the message has not been sent.I don't even get a vibration or a notice that it hasn't sent; it's only when I check my messages that I see the red flag but my undelivered message.How can I get the iPhone to just automatically keep trying to re-send these messages until it goes through, or at the very least to give me a notification buzz when the message doesn't go through so I know to manually re-send it myself?

How do you resend them? Sometimes in conversations, a message shows a red "X" which I assume indicates it wasn't sent - I can't figure out how to resend the same message again, or check the status why it didn't send.

So my N79 is refusing to let me send text messages on the grounds that "Text Message: Not enough memory to perform operation. Please delete some data first". So I went through and got rid of a heap of stuff - songs, videos the kinda things that are big files, and still no change.
My phone memory has 368kb free and my memory card has 3734 mb of free memory.Was working perfectly fine yesterday with more data and my phone stores about 1000 messages pretty easily, several videos, songs etc..
Is it possible to configure the SIP settings on Nokia N8 to use Skype for making VOIP calls (in the same way that is possible for Voipcheap and Voipbuster)?I know that I can use the Skype app, but I was hoping to integrate Skype in the phone contacts just like I do with Voipcheap and Voipbuster.

It changed some settings on my phone and gave me the options to make these settings the defaults which I foolishly said YES to.Previously I could connect to the internet via WIFI or 3G (it gave me the option before hand) however now it likes to force me to use the new 3G service (even with my old SIM fitted).I managed to get my old settings back, but they keep changing back when I turn the phone off or leaving the house.I also don't seam to be able to have WIFI and new 3G option menu.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI found out that all the camera settings is not saved. For exampel i always want the grid displayed but then i have to turn it on manuelly every time. Same goes for the timer, id like it to be on 2sec so the picture not is taken as you push the button (shaky etc).
Probably more camera settings that not saved havent checked it all.

When the browser is used, it prompts for the username and password and then works. However other applications cannot connect to this network as they seemingly lack this feature and the phone does not make this globally available.Nokia Configuration Tool (NCT) 6.3 seems to allow placement of username and password values. View 3 Replies View RelatedMy 4 day old N97 Mini stopped displaying new text message notifications on the screen and alerting me via a tone or vibration. Before posting I read this forum and other independent forums and did the following:
Checked firmware for phone - was up to date
Checked message tone was active in profiles - was active
Deleted all messages in inbox/drafts/sent - fixed issue had 41 messages total in these 3 folders.
I can't understand this error, I had an iPhone 3G before coming back to Nokia (N97 mini OS served a better purpose) I could store literally 100's of texts and never had a problem, If I can't have more than 40 texts in my folders without the alert turning itself off..Then the phone is useless.
There is only one Language/voice file available in my Nokia E7. I want to have a female voice and there is no download available for E7 (on download language and voide webpage).
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have about 5500 messages on my N97 and want to transfer them to N8 but when it try the phone switch and transfer them with Bluetooth it literally takes for ever, last time I tried it transferred like 30 in 5 minutes, is there anyway I can make it go faster? Also tried to backup my messages on Ovi suit and PC suite, well on PC suit it gives me an error saying there is not enough memory(On the PC suite application on my computer) and it backs it up short, only 1000 I think and in OVI suit, I backed it up fine but when tried to restore, it did it and took some time but nothing happened, number of txt messages didn't change.
