I want to send a text with the answer to a competition. The competition T&C's allow unlimited entries so I want to automatically send 50 entries from my N97. Is it possible to set this up to send automatically? I know it can be done via websites but it has to be from my phone.
View 3 RepliesSo my N79 is refusing to let me send text messages on the grounds that "Text Message: Not enough memory to perform operation. Please delete some data first". So I went through and got rid of a heap of stuff - songs, videos the kinda things that are big files, and still no change.
My phone memory has 368kb free and my memory card has 3734 mb of free memory.Was working perfectly fine yesterday with more data and my phone stores about 1000 messages pretty easily, several videos, songs etc..
I just bought a 6700 but i cant send text messages. When i send something, it sends as normal but the receiver does not receive. I can receive texts as normal though.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI bought a Nokia 5800d-1 last week. Everything was working fine till last week. Now, whenever I recieve a call, I'm not able to answer the call by sliding the answer option in the screen or unlock by sliding the unlock option. I have to unlock the touch screen by using the unlock button and then all the buttons in my touch screen works and i'm able to answer my call. I went to a Nokia care store and updated the firmware to the latest one. But still, the touch screen, as usual remains frozen whenever I receive a call.
View 8 Replies View RelatedEither when making a call or receiving one, the screen goes black so you can't answer or hang up. Pressing any of the keys makes no difference whatsoever.
Once the caller cancels the call, the screen lights back up. It happens whether the keypad is locked or not.
Really strange, it's only intermittent but really annoying when you can't answer your phone?
My phone is a Nokia 700. I would like to answer my phone in speakerphone mode, rather than answering, waiting, and then pressing the speakerphone icon. Is there an app or a setting to allow this please
View 2 Replies View RelatedJust upgraded to V40 on my 5800. Now when the phone rings I get 2 options on the touch screen:
1. Answer
2. Unlock
Neither work. I know I can use the buttons, but why have the other options on the screen if they don't work. What about the other options like silence or reject, or send message. All gone. The new version is **bleep**. Also, when I set an alarm, I can't silence it, or stop it using the touch screen. This all seems to happen when the phone is locked, but if the phone is unlocked, I get the older options.
I don't know how I'm expected to unlock my phone just before someone rings me to enable me to have all the existing options, or wake up before my alarm in order to unlock the phone, so I can snooze or stop it. can I revert back to V31?
I have had this problem since I have had the phone. I cannot send or recieve MMS messages. I have had my provider send configure mgs several times.It also doesnt work when connected to my home WiFi. When I receive a msg all it says is msg not downloaded when i click on it a push download msg it says couldnot download try again later.

It took a week and again... What's the prob on this N8 unit of nokia? They don't care about this? I think my N8 is nuts! I can't use it well... I had a already made other ways to overcome but still keep returning..

View 5 Replies View RelatedI picked up a new N8 about a month ago and I love it. The one thing that has absolutely been bugging the **bleep** out of me is sending SMS messages. In conversation if I send a message longer than a line or two, it fails to send and sits in my outbox as failed (resending from here does not work).If I want to send this message I have to move it to my drafts, and then hit send. If the text still fails to send and recieves a sending error then returns to my outbox as failed, I then have to move it to drafts, select >options>sending options> and manually change it to a multimedia message and then send it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIm getting this problem since 2 days now. When I send a text message to anyone, I get an error saying ''Messaging: Feature Not Supported". After quite a few attempts the message finally is sent but I dont receive any delivery report even though I have enabled that option. And when I check the sent items or conversations, the recipient is totally someone else! I tried soft reset and the problem solved. But now it came up again. Soft resetting my phone every day is not an option.

I have to open this text message or it will remind every 5 mins (a feature I like for other text messages). The text tells me the answer phone number (121, vodafone UK) but this number is not a clickable link. I therefore have to close the text message and open the dialer and phone 121 (or hold 1 key). Is there a way to launch the dialer from the text message (for example forcing it to create a link for the 121 number)?

There are just two buttons currently in that view (Back and Options) on the Symbian Belle interface. My old Nokia had a dedicated send button Anyway, would really make things easier because these type op menu's are used by the mobile banking sites and to check my cellphone account balances.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a recurring problem with my N95 8gb, I can't send any texts. It started by sending the same text repeatedly until I deleted from the outbox. After a while I couldn't send texts at all, I get a error message stating that my memory is full which is not the case. I temporarily fixed this by deleting a message in my sent box and switching off the handset and when I turned on the phone again it would send the message. Although this was very annoying it worked normally for a while but now this method doesn't work anymore. What can I do to solve this? I've tried to update the firmware, tried both soft and hard reset. I have 85.3M empty RAM, 40,6M empty phone memory and 5,9gb empty on the mass memory.
View 10 Replies View RelatedYestarday i sent a text message to a friend after topping up 10. by last night she had recieved the same text over 80 times and my credit had ran out. after that my texts wouldnt go through at all (even free texts from my umlimited o2) i phoned o2 and they put 10 back on for me and gave me 100 free texts to any network and told me to try another o2 card in my phone, i did and it still wouldnt work so its the phone.... i can phone out by when i try to text it goes straight to my outbox rather than sent messages and says resend. nothing will go through to any number at all. does anyone have any ideas what it could be? i dont want to have to send it off and wait ages! ive tried factory settings and still the same.
