Apr 26, 2012In Nokia 5800 (S60v5) we had an option to store sms/mail on any disk. It was possible to move messages to SD card releasing space on disk C:Now we can't do that. This option has been removed.Why?Is there any plans to give us this option back again?

Oct 13, 2011I picked up a new N8 about a month ago and I love it. The one thing that has absolutely been bugging the **bleep** out of me is sending SMS messages. In conversation if I send a message longer than a line or two, it fails to send and sits in my outbox as failed (resending from here does not work).If I want to send this message I have to move it to my drafts, and then hit send. If the text still fails to send and recieves a sending error then returns to my outbox as failed, I then have to move it to drafts, select >options>sending options> and manually change it to a multimedia message and then send it.

Nov 25, 2011Im getting this problem since 2 days now. When I send a text message to anyone, I get an error saying ''Messaging: Feature Not Supported". After quite a few attempts the message finally is sent but I dont receive any delivery report even though I have enabled that option. And when I check the sent items or conversations, the recipient is totally someone else! I tried soft reset and the problem solved. But now it came up again. Soft resetting my phone every day is not an option.

Feb 13, 2010Using N79 with Ovi suite 2.0.2.42 on Windows 7 Ultimate.I need advice on what to do to the Nokia OVI suite software to avoid it getting its fingers into my system - let me describe the problem.From a fresh reboot, drive plugged in, when I try to eject the external HDD, Windows reports the device is in use. In the system event log, the reason for this is reported as something to do with NokiaMServer.I have not run any applications, so the MServer process must have decided all on its own that it must open something on the external HDD and not let go like a bulldog.Is there any way to get the Nokia software to not lock things? Jun 29, 2012I was trying to delete most of the video clips through "Real Player" button. While doing that, I accidentally pushed the delete button more than once. Now that I cannot access my video clips. When I tried to open through "Gallery", it cannot access, and the message appears as the following: Disk Error - Cannot Complete Write. Retry or Data will be lost. I did retry, but the message re-appears. How do I access to the clips, and retrieve them and subsequently save them.

Jan 24, 2012So my N79 is refusing to let me send text messages on the grounds that "Text Message: Not enough memory to perform operation. Please delete some data first". So I went through and got rid of a heap of stuff - songs, videos the kinda things that are big files, and still no change.
My phone memory has 368kb free and my memory card has 3734 mb of free memory.Was working perfectly fine yesterday with more data and my phone stores about 1000 messages pretty easily, several videos, songs etc..
