This drives me nuts: Occassionally, but not often, I will send a text message and it does not go through. This happens both when I am using iMessage or regular text messages. It gets me into a lot of trouble I assume my text message has gone through, then check my phone half an hour later and realize the message has not been sent.I don't even get a vibration or a notice that it hasn't sent; it's only when I check my messages that I see the red flag but my undelivered message. How can I get the iPhone to just automatically keep trying to re-send these messages until it goes through, or at the very least to give me a notification buzz when the message doesn't go through so I know to manually re-send it myself?
Is there a way i can set the resend time for txt? you know when the message failed to send it will automatically send message again after 5mins, but 5 mins is too long., i want it to resend after a minute or so. 5 mins and this resend became so useless to me
Every time when I restart my xperia z2 some random old messages are resend. These messages don't show in the messaging app either so I have no way of knowing which messages were send and to who. I've checked with my provider but they couldn't fix it. It's really annoying because I constantly have to explain that I did not send any message.
How do you resend them? Sometimes in conversations, a message shows a red "X" which I assume indicates it wasn't sent - I can't figure out how to resend the same message again, or check the status why it didn't send.
Received Text message failure due to low signal and now my iPhone will not resend the message and will not send any other messages to the same number - all happened after moving up to iOS.5
Am using BB curve 9300 3G, and OS 6.0.Around 2 months back, i was having issue with my BB so sent it to service center. When it came back, the OS was upgraded to 6.0 from 5.0.all is fine except now the text messages are getting deleted after few days...what remains is the name of the sender in green with no message in it. Even in settings, I have kept "forever" in the tab "Days to keep messages" Looking forward for a reply.
My text messages are now automatically deleted even though my memory is not full. The weird is the names of the senders are still on the list but when you open them one by one the messages are gone. The ones automatically deleted are not even old text messages, they are just 4 days old. The names are also in color green. I hate deleting important text messages. Tried backing up my sms and restore them but when backing up, the ones deleted are ofcourse gone, so obviously I cannot restore anything that is gone.

My Blackberry torch automatically deletes saved text messages. When I go to my saved messages folder most or all of them will be gone. I've noticed that when it begins to delete old messages it turns them green so I can not read them again and old messages that I have saved also turn green and are automatically deleted. This is a highly disappointing weakness of the torch and as I am new to Blackberry I thought saving text messages would be an easy and basic task to do. I have never had this problem with any other make of phone. Other than this problem I have only had a few glitches and like the phone but I would not recommend it.
I noticed a while ago that my blackberry automatically removes text messages after 1 month. At first I wasn't too bothered by this, but recently I was looking for a text that was older. I was able to get to it by restoring an earlier data archive from blackberry protect, but I was wondering if there was a way to keep them from being deleted in the first place.
I have a BB bold 9780 and my text messages are being automatically deleted after a certain amount of time. I don't seem to have the option to set how long my device stores messages. i.e. options --> message display and action----> days to keep message
How can I retrieve older text messages that have been automatically removed. I need to retrieve text messages that are 8 months old from a sender but I can no longer see. Blackberry Bold 9700
my bb has started acting weird, sometimes( not always) when screen unlocked it automatically selects apps, writes messages, deletes messages, send messages etc. its like someone is logged in remotley and doing this, what is this and how can i stop it?
Quick question I have a nokia N95 phone but it wont let me send messages it puts them in the outbox, says a resend time then says failed and comes up with un able to send... When I press details it says "General: memory full. Close some applications and try again".... I have no applications
open and have pressed and held the menu button to check and defiantly don't. I have turned it off And on, re installed message settings, deleted stuff, even reinstalled factory settings and its still not working id much appreciate some help. It did the same thing on Tuesday but was fine when I woke up Wednesday morning. It did it again 10pm Wednesday night and is still the same and its Friday xx I have posted this message on facebook and got told to ask here. I don't know if there is already a topic on this, but I really want to sort this problem out. I have always had Ionians and they have usually been very reliable...
My current text messages are being combined with old text messages, creating messages that don't reflect what I sent. The recipients of my texts are very confused....as am I when I get there response.
just got a 5s and have email set up on my phone and on work computer to get emails sent to both devices so i can view whenever and wherever. Email shows up on phone but immediately after you open and read it, it deletes and i cant find it anywhere. But it does come thru and doesnt delete on my computer. how do i get the messages to not delete automatically on my phone?Â
I can send text messages but can't receive any text messages (sms). Ideed, i have a message like that : "message memory full" i delete a lot of messages, i don't have any video or pictures, my memory is not full, so i don't understand why it's like that. I have this probleme for 4 days ant it becomes very annoying. delete any message cause i delete three-quarters of messages..
I can't really receive any messages. It's all delayed. I'm from Philippines. my iPhone had been unlocked since my mom bought it in USA. I can't receive any messages here in our province but when I'm in Metro Manila, it's working.
When I send messages to an ordinary cell phone, they sometimes go through as photo messages even though I have not touched the camera icon next to the text window. When I intentionally send a photo message, my phone asks me if I want to take a new photo or use one from my camera roll. This question isn't asked when I type a normal text message, but it often is received as a photo message even though there is no photo.
I have text messages set to iMessage ok and SMS okay. When a text message fails initially why isn't there a setting that the text will 'automatically' rollover to SMS instead of wasting time coming up with 3 options at the bottom of the screen, including sending as SMS?Â
When I receive a text message I try to reply to the message and the text message window closes. I have synced the phone and it still will not let me send a text.
