BB Bold :: All SMS Messages Wiped Out Automatically?
Oct 21, 2011This has happened more than once. All my SMS message have wiped out automatically.
Any Advice on the possibility of getting them back, or why this has happened?

IPhone :: 4 Automatically Wiped Itself?
Mar 22, 2012So i was sitting in front of my phone this morning, when all of a sudden it just switched off and went into remote wipe mode. I then got an email from iCloud:Fantastic!! Maybe it was mind control or something!! I then got very pannicky and changed my apple ID password thinking that someone had got hold of it. I've restored from a backup on my computer because when i tried to do it from the Setup new iPhone > Restore from iCloud backup, it said 'No backups availiable'. I guess i hadn't switched on iCloud backups....but i thought i had! So i've got my stuff back via iTunes backup but lost days of data since the last computer backup was early March.

BB Bold :: Automatically Opening Messages And BBM When Unlock?
Jan 6, 2011when i lock my keypad on my bb and then get a text message, email or BBM. I unlock my phone after taking it out of the pouch and it automatically opens my messages
How can i stop this becuase i dont want this to happen as it is quite annoying.

Jul 12, 2011My text messages are now automatically deleted even though my memory is not full. The weird is the names of the senders are still on the list but when you open them one by one the messages are gone. The ones automatically deleted are not even old text messages, they are just 4 days old. The names are also in color green. I hate deleting important text messages. Tried backing up my sms and restore them but when backing up, the ones deleted are ofcourse gone, so obviously I cannot restore anything that is gone.

I have just read 5 emails on Google web page and they are still appearing as unread it on my Blackberry. My wife has the iPhone, and it immediately marked messages as read it as well. Apr 27, 2010Can someone tell me how SMS messages are stored on a Nokia N86 and in what kind of file? I need to restore from a memory card. I have always stored my SMSs on my micro SD memory card with no problems, but today they completely disappeared, I have nothing left in my Inbox, Drafts or Sent folders - over a year's worth of messages that I wanted to keep!It happened today when I went into the photo settings on the N86 and noticed that my photos were being saved in 'Mass Storage', so I changed the option to 'Memory Card'. For some strange reason this seems to have had the effect of wiping / overwriting all my saved SMSs on the memory card. Strangely other files seem to have been left untouched, e.g. in the document folder.
Can anyone help?

Feb 9, 2012Whist updating my bold 9700 from Os5 to Os6. The phone developed an error during reinstalling and now it does not work at all. The devise manager does not recognize the phone and the BB pin is showing 0 I have tried reinstalling and uploading Os5 to the phone but get stuck as there is no devise to select.

Jan 26, 2010my name is Lisa and I have a bold 9000 I was recently trying to sync my phone to my computer by using the desktop manager... It prompted me for the blackberry password on my computer. I entered my CORRECT!!! Password numerous times until it said one last attempt or all memory will be erase.. Being that the CORRECT password was not working I went to the password options on my bold and disabled the password.. As I attempted this a prompt showed up and said type in "blackberry" so I did then it said type in password, I typed in the correct password once again then it started wiping my phone.This is extremely frustrating I have... Well had =[... A lot of stuff on my phone and now it is all gone! And to top it all off it will not start up again, it says "reload software:513"I don't understand why this happened and I found several other people on online forums who have had the same problem with no solution.Please help! Jul 8, 2010On June 10, I received a notification that there was a new update available to the Internet e-mail setup application. I can't access my em-mail settings without downloading the update. I downloaded the update, and, after rebooting, there was an error message saying the software couldn't be found! There was nothing on my phone besides a white screen with a long list of software file names. I couldn't go past this screen, make phone calls, text, or even power down without pulling the battery out! BB Tech Support was able to help me reinstall the operating system and restore evertyhing through the desktop software (sadly my last sync was 4 months ago so I lost all of my apps).To this day, it still prompts me to download the update when I try to access the E-mail Setup application. I don't remember what version the update was on June 10 but the version showing is 6.11.0419.0755. I need to access this application but I'm terrified to download the update.

Unfortunately I do not have a backup and I lost all my contacts and media files. Is there a way to rollback knowing that I did previously an upgrade for the software version over the air, so probably my data is stored somewhere on RIM servers.

Nov 5, 2011There was this pop-up thing happening and without knowing what it is and trying to get rid of it, I entered the password incorrectly 10 times and my phone got wiped. I did not back up any of the data in my phone. Now, every time I turn on my phone (bold 9000) the battery dies within 2-3 hours and when I switch the battery it erases all contacts and adjustments to the settings that I've made. In addition to this, the phone gets super hot, even though I turn the phone off.

It gets me into a lot of trouble I assume my text message has gone through, then check my phone half an hour later and realize the message has not been sent.I don't even get a vibration or a notice that it hasn't sent; it's only when I check my messages that I see the red flag but my undelivered message.How can I get the iPhone to just automatically keep trying to re-send these messages until it goes through, or at the very least to give me a notification buzz when the message doesn't go through so I know to manually re-send it myself?
