View 1 RepliesI just did a quick comapre of the E72 and E73 manuals, and it appears that the E73 Mode for T-Mobile does NOT support UPnP and DLNA, even though Nokia's own Spec sheet says it does.Did T-Mobile yank this out, or was this an oversight on Nokia's part?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI use an exchange account at work, that means I often search for old emails dating way back. However I can not find the choice for that on my new 808?
It seems to only find mail for the last two weeks.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI can't seem to access Wikipedia properly on my iPhone 4. It currently goes to the mobile version of the site [URL] but the formatting is not right (tables are all spread out, the screen can be moved to either side). Also - most annoyingly - when I tap the top bar (where the clock is) on safari it doesn't scroll to the top of the page like it does everywhere else.
Info:
iPhone 4, iOS 5.1

View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm using Nokia 5233 with GPRS and I see that browsing is ok in many cases. But some sites throw up an "invalid server name". What could be the issue? I know these sites exist when I browse via my computer. Is it that only mobile enabled sites are accessible via the phone?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI got the latest update (UXP) and either I don't know how to use it or it's simply not included. I can't find DLNA in X10
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've got my MP3's on a server which DLNA found the first time I ran the program. I transfered the one I wanted. Worked well except for changing the directory they were in. Since then, I've added some music to the server and wanted to use the program to transfer them to my phone. I conneceted to the server with the program, but the folders were not listed. I've looked a refresh setting, but could not found one.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI don't have any DLNA compatible devices. I don't want DLNA. It starts automatically and takes up 3GB of memory. I can't remove it because it is part of the bloat.
View 1 Replies View RelatedLooking for the DLNA app? Cant find it in the installed app list, or anywhere else. Was it removed with the ICS update ?

View 2 Replies View Relatedtoday my company's email provider changed the hostname for the Exchange server, so I'm stuck with my E72 not syncronizing any more, since I can't edit the server name field in the configuration properties.First of all: is this behavior by design? Because in case it is, the "Change" item in the Options menu should really be removed.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been connected to my work email account through Microsoft Exchange for the past year with no problems. I was trying to send out an email today, and my iPhone could not connect to the server. I tried to re-connect multiple times, ultimately deleting the email account from my phone and attempting to re-install it. When I put in all the info into their respective fields and hit "next," all I get is a message that says "Exchange account verification failed." When I go through and save it anyway and try and update emails, it says that it cannot connect to the server. My IT dept. says no changes were made, and I've already tried a restore and restored from a backup, as well.I have no contacts, emails, or calendar on my phone!
View 5 Replies View RelatedBy default in my IMAP mailbox I can only see 4 folders- Inbox,Drafts,Sent Items,Outbox. To see other folders I need to click on More Folders and select the folder to view. Is there a way I can swap one of the above prelisted folder with 'Sent' or any other server folder of my choice? Also when I send any email using phone, a copy of the email is stored in the 'Sent Items' folder. But I would like the copy in the 'Sent' folder of my mailserver so that I can see the email even when I access my email using my laptop. Is this possible ?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI am a little bit confused about the working of GPS enabled phones like how they work and get your exact location. I use E71 phone which has integrated phone and I have downloaded nokia maps to my phone.
My question is: My phone is directly communicating to satelite to get my location or is it going to some other GPS server or Nokia GPS server. I am very much sure that if you want to know your exact location then GPS has to contacted your device directly. But still have some confusions.
In-case of my phone is directly communicating to satelite then it should work without GPRS or internet connection on phone. But the interesting part is it doesn't.Can anyone please put some light on this and my request is do not put your thinking only reply for which you are sure and can provide some material if you have.
I have updated to 2.2009.51-1.002. I can access my exchange server over a web browser, so data connection is working, and I have the right details. I do get a message about invalid certificates on Firefox. On the N900 I get the message "either exchange requires secure connection or account is disabled".
View 7 Replies View RelatedReinstalled Map Loader 3.0 many times as well as map updater. Neither of them are working at the moment for some reason. I recently did a format on my phone and it wiped all the programmes clean and bumped me back to factory loaded Nokia Maps 2 for my E71. Now I ran map updater and got the error "Connection to Map Server Interrupted" etc etc. Dug around and found a OVI Map 3 installer they used for macs fixed that. Now Map Loader won't work either, returns with cannot load catalogue. I've got maps before like a year ago, whats up now? I've tried on both my computers and the other virtually has 0 security. The router is fine nothing should be blocking it. Tried it on another internet connection and nothing is working.

View 61 Replies View RelatedI wonder when we'll have any feedback from Nokia Support? It must be the new Nokia Ovi Suite causing the problem because we all have the same problems. I have tried on three different computers with good stable internet connections and get the "connection timed out" error on all of them. Using Nokia 5230 and have tried both on XP and Vista.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter installing the latest NOKIA software updater, the OVI Suite is not connecting to the map server. It stays: "Wait while retreiving the available maps." for ever. I unistalled the updater, but the problem is still there. Any ideas to solve this?
View 64 Replies View RelatedFor the past 48 Hours I have been trying to connect my X6 to my wlan connection ...Unsuccessfully
Ihave tried many many pieces of advice and am now completely stuck ....
Before running the firmware update i was getting an error message saying... No Gateway Reply...
Now that I have updated the firmware, when the X6 attempts to connect vai wlan.I get a error message saying.....Invalid Server Name
I think ive tried everything from changing power settings to ensuring the router is allowing DCHP and have looked in nokia's global discussions
Then if I click on the Favourites tab I get "Error occurred. Please refresh the panel" in the left-hand panel. No favourites show. If I do refresh I get a brown banner at the top with "Cannot connect to emote server". This has happened after using it once to plan my first trip. Since then this is all I get. I can sync from Nokia 5800XM. I've filled in the Ovi Maps Help - Customer Support but have had no reply or help other than an automated reply. As a consequence it is rather difficult to plan any routes and use any favourites on the phone. Its possible but not as easy as on-line

View 6 Replies View RelatedIs there some general known issue presently with the maps server? Yesterday, I hardly got anything loaded because the connection was dropped every now and then. Today, I can not get any map downloading properly started. I'd really need to get maps of Italy installed soon.I'm using the lastest Ovi Suite (downloaded and installed yesterday) and N95 8GB. I can get the country list to Ovi Suite application, but when starting the actual download, there is always just "Connection time out, The connection to the Ovi Maps server timed out, Try again".So, is it just me or is there something somebody should fix on server side?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI want to set my POP email to leave a copy of the message on the server after retrieval.I cannot see any option to do this.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've been having a lot of problems downloading individual country maps using the Ovi Suite. Occasionally it works, but 95% of the time, the download seems to start ("Preparing") but after a few minutes, I get the following error message: "Connection timeout
The connection to the Ovi Maps server timed out.Try again."
System: Windows 7, Nokia Ovi Suite 2.2.0.241. My internet connection is fine.
Phone: E52, Ovi Maps v. 3.03
I cant seem to connect to my ovi account via ovi suite (could not sign in), it asks if the internet connection is working.Though when i try log in via the ovi website I have no issues.
It wouldnt have bothered me but now it asks to log in for me to update the phone software so cant update. If this doesnt get resolved I am hoping that software updater in pc suite still works? I had this response from Nokia but not very helpful:"This problem could be related to security software on your PC preventing Ovi Suite from accessing the internet.
In general, we recommend setting the security settings to Medium level within any security software. Setting security to High level may cause issues in attempting to sign into the Ovi Suite Service or when downloading music. You may need to check with the vendor of your security software for specific configuration instructions."
