After I deleted an application, I cannot connect my C7 through wifi to the internet as getting the error 'Could not locate remote Server' I tried turning off power save in wifi and also re-installed the application that I deleted before but no luck.

View 3 Replies View RelatedThere seems to be a bug with remote locking on the E5 (where you send a text message with a pre-defined keyword to lock the phone if lost/stolen, etc) - it works, but then keeps requesting the lock code when switched on, even after it has been entered correctly. Disabling remote locking stops lock code request at startup but then you can't lock it remotely! Re-enabling remote locking makes the problem continue, even if lock code is changed in the mean time.Nokia customer services were useless and didn't understand what I was talking about.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI Like to control my Nokia 5230 from my Netbook. So I found the software app Remote Professional. Yes its connects, and then it does nothing enymore. I get a white screen, and see no virtual Nokia Interface. ( I wrote 2 times to Remote Professional since I have a registred version. I did never get an answer))) Is there a decent software application wich provides this functionality without problems. I have an older WM 5 device, and that is more reliable than this Nokia Device, it misses however radio and max SD card space for 2 GB but the virtual PDA on my Netbook was running without problems.

Before, it was found through Settings and Connectivity > Remote drives. Is it missing in Belle or it moved to somewhere else?
I have a blackberry bold 9700 and drive a mini cooper. The Bluetooth has worked flawlessly until this weekend when my contacts list stopped being shown on the car's Bluetooth device. I deleted the device and re paired it but I still get a message saying "unable to locate objects push server. The Bluetooth still works in the car but I can't access my phone book as shown on my device.

View 2 Replies View RelatedOne thing has been bugging me lately, namely I can't locate the cities folder anymore when I browse the memory card with PC Suite FileManager. Has it changed its place or what has happened? I don't see it on phone internal memory either. I have downloaded the maps for the whole world, and several voice files. Earlier I could always see the cities folder, not anymore.Nokia E66 (actually two), one has OVI Maps 3.01 while the other has 3.03. I don't think I've seen cities folder in either, but right now I can check it only with OVI Maps 3.01. The qf file can be found in the root, though. The memory card in both is Nokia's MU-44 16Gb memory card.
On the other hand, PC Suite Map Loader, as well as OVI Map Loader, seem to detect there are maps in the phone, and they also let me delete the maps from there.OVI Maps (3.01 and 3.03) is working in both phones, also in offline mode. The only exceptional thing I can think of is that I have downloaded the maps to both phones with PC Suite (Map Loader), not OVI Suite. This is simply because with OVI Suite map loader there always seem to be connection problems with downloading. But like said, OVI Suite also detects the maps on the phone.This wouldn't matter otherwise, but when I decide to re-download some maps, I'd rather delete the cities folder completely and the qf file manually, than trusting Map Loaders slower "delete all maps" function.
My N97 was stolen today. I registered on OVI using that phone. Is there a way that I can locate my cellphone when the person who stole uses it?

According with some web pages (I didn't verified thru specs), E71 has a "Remote Wipe" feature.It works by remote locking and after that, trying 5 passwords, with no luck.I tested, and E71 only says "Too many retries, the phone will be unlocked in 5 minutes" or something like that (the message is in Spanish, so the real English message vary).But, after trying with too many passwords, the phone does not self-wipe.So This feature is for real? Or is just a web hoax?

I have downloaded the SKY app that allows you to remote record, again no problems but I can't log in to it as I can't get the kepbord to produce numbers ! It does so for any other application, but not this. I have tried copy and pasting the log in details from a word doc, etc etc but it does just not recognise the numbers , just repeats the letter being pressed ! This means I can't log in.

Unfortunately the remote managed to work its way off the steering wheel and completely disappear within three days.I've asked about 20 different suppliers whether they stock replacement remotes and they all say no. I asked Nokia UK Support and they tell me to contact suppliers as they no longer have an online shop.Can someone please put me in the direction of a replacement part? Surely a company of Nokia's stature must have a parts supply chain somewhere?!?

I receive a "PC Sync was unable to locate your Outlook message store" error message. By searching this board, it appears that this is a fairly common problem. I have never had any nokia products on it prior to my attempts.Connecting via USB (no errrors or problems reported with this).Does anyone have a bonafide solution for this? This really sounds like buggy software to me.

Yesterday, I was trying to locate a place (London) using Ovi maps and I got completely lost. I never had such a problem before with google maps which pinpoint my location much more precisely (using EDGE) than Ovi maps using GPS. It might be that I am just dumb but has anyone had the same experience? how can I make Ovi maps more precise? using 3g instead of GPS?Many thanks for your time reading this and your reply if any.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI've just enabled the remote phone locking feature on my S60 mobile device; that is the message text to be sent via SMS to lock the phone and the security code (default 12345).I've sent several times from another mobile phone the security text message via SMS keeping in mind that it is case sensitive. Unfortunately when I receive the lock SMS on my S60 device it does not work. The message arrives as a normal SMS; it is possible to read its content as in case of normal short text messages.What could be the problem? Can you help me to figure it out?
