Nokia Nseries :: Control 5230 From Desktop By Remote Professional?
Jan 28, 2011
I Like to control my Nokia 5230 from my Netbook. So I found the software app Remote Professional. Yes its connects, and then it does nothing enymore. I get a white screen, and see no virtual Nokia Interface. ( I wrote 2 times to Remote Professional since I have a registred version. I did never get an answer))) Is there a decent software application wich provides this functionality without problems. I have an older WM 5 device, and that is more reliable than this Nokia Device, it misses however radio and max SD card space for 2 GB but the virtual PDA on my Netbook was running without problems.
I've a Nokia 5230 connected to a laptop via a Bluetooth USB adapter. Is it possible operate with the phone remotely, via a PC application that can call call phone numbers and redirect the phone audio on the PC side ?
I am new to the forum and also to Windows XP Professional x64 edition. I have reinstalled my Desktop Manager (downloaded BlackBerry Desktop Software v5.0 and v5.0.1 from the Blackberry website) and everything appears to have worked correctly. However, when I run the program, it never initializes. Has anyone had any experience getting the software to run in this edition of Windows?
I have a mac mini (snow leopard) with itunes. I would like to remote control the itunes running on my mac mini using my e71, like the iRemote for the iphone.
I bought my E6 a week ago and I just now tried to connect it to my pc via bluetooth. Amongst the normal services my pc found was some service " remote control". Can somebody please tell me if that can really function and how? And by the way i read all of the discussion about the batterylife, mine was holdin 3-4 days but i found out that it was because of Whatsapp. So the app forced the phone to connect to wifi all the time, even if the App is completely shut down. And we all know there isn't a wifi-shutdown function, so the phone stayed all night connected to wifi. I deleted Whatsapp just for experiment and since wednsday morning untill now I still have 50% battery, with some internet surfing music and so on.
Is there such a thing available for current Asha and Lumia models? Just like the Apple - In-Ear Headphones with Remote and Mic for iPod and iPhone. I know, I know, the Nokias are wired differently so the Iphone Headset will not work(?). But I still need the fast forward and rewind buttons to conveniently listen to audio books.
there such a device for Nokia phones? I would like a little remote (preferably something that can connect to my steering wheel) so that I can change tracks on my phone via bluetooth. is there such an animal? I don't need anything fancy, as I already have blueooth telefony integration with my car -- I just want to change audio tracks easily.
i was wondering if any one expert here knows any app for symbian 3/anna where i can control for my pc (some features i need) with any program made for symbian?i have installed symRdp but it hands after few seconds i know is for 5th edition phones is it needs some run time program?
I have a nice audio adapter for my e90 (hs-45/ad-46). I has 3.5mm plug, remote control for music player (play/pause, stop, next, previous), a microphone and answer/hang up button and a 3.5mm socket to plug in your favorite earphones.I tried it on my son's 5230, the music can be heard but the buttons don't work. I would like to use a similar device on the N900 I'll get in few days, but perhaps the remote won't work on it either(?)Is there any wired old-school audio adapter/remote for 5230 or N900? Nokia website lists wh-701 as compatible with 5230 and it even ships with N900, but it has fixed in-ear headphones that don't fit me.If there isn't a compatible audio adapter available at the moment please make one.
I just bought Nokia 5230, I have problem setting up the phone for web access and MMS. There's supposed to be a APN Control setting in Connectivity->Admin Settings->APN Control, I just don't have this setting.
There is an annoying beep sound during calls and the volume control is automatically at the maximum. When I try to bring down the volume using the volume control switch on the side, the volume bar slides all the way to the very lowest and not in steps.I tried googling but I could not find anything. Can someone please suggest what to do?
I have the S6 and the ES8000 TV. I want to use it to remote control it (including touchpad functionality) using the phone. I would like to know which Samsung app allows that. I asked Samsung and as usual got a clueless response - they referred me to that page A Galaxy of Remote Possibilities which seems ancient, and the app AllShare Control that this page refers to can't be downloaded anywhere and from what I read about it, it works only with old models. So what Samsung app can be used to that effect?
Is there anything like VLC (or logmein.com, etc) for an iPhone which will let me control the iPhone remotely, either from a computer or another iPhone?Recently my wife's phone went missing. We can see it in Find iPhone. But, we would like to get a sense of what is going on with it. Whoever found has it on and is not responding to messages we are sending to it
I'm having problems with getting my remote control on my iPhone 3GS to work. I've tried out the headphones out on different iPhones and they work so it's not the headphone itself. I've had this problem for around 6+ months now I attempted the trick where you get a paper clip and get all the fluff out of the jack however it came to no avail. What is left for me to do? Is it a problem with my audio jack flex cable?
I own a pair of Audio-Technica MTH-50 headphones that sound great with the iPhone. The one problem is that the input is large, and needs to fit flush against the phone. I like to have my phone in a case, so I can't really use the headphones unless I'm willing to leave my phone unprotected.
I've received about getting around this is a simple headphone adapter, which would plug in to the top of the phone, then allow me to plug my phones in above the case.
This seems impractical, as I don't think the trade-off is worth it. I wouldn't, however, mind it if I could add an extra feature. So is there a headphone adaptor/extender out there includes a remote for basic volume / play / track functions?
There seems to be a bug with remote locking on the E5 (where you send a text message with a pre-defined keyword to lock the phone if lost/stolen, etc) - it works, but then keeps requesting the lock code when switched on, even after it has been entered correctly. Disabling remote locking stops lock code request at startup but then you can't lock it remotely! Re-enabling remote locking makes the problem continue, even if lock code is changed in the mean time.Nokia customer services were useless and didn't understand what I was talking about.
Is there some app to control your pc with your bb. when i watch a movie with my laptop connected to the tv by a hdmi cable the laptop is on the floor. so i can't control it.now i'm looking for a remote app that can control the pc with my bb. i found vlc remote but it is not for the 9520. is there some kind of remote. bluetooth or wifi it doesn't mather.
Earlier SE phones always had a remote control functionality via Bluetooth HID which I really miss on my Aino. Do you know any alternatives? Isn't there an app for this?
I somehow discovered how to program custom remotes before simply setting up my main TV to a pre-programmed one (Samsung). When I did discover the built-in remote for the Samsung, I noticed the volume & channel rocker buttons are HUGE compared to the ones available for building your own remote.
my remote control has stopped working. it was working well at the beginning but after some days of non-using it, it does not want to work anymore.i tried to take out the battery but didn't work, i double checked whether the Bluetooth was on but it didn't make a difference.
After I deleted an application, I cannot connect my C7 through wifi to the internet as getting the error 'Could not locate remote Server' I tried turning off power save in wifi and also re-installed the application that I deleted before but no luck.
I have a new 8350i and downloaded the new 5.0.0.807 (?) version software. For some reason, after doing this, the ability of my Plantronics Voyager 815 headset to perform remote controls (answer, hang up, volume, etc) has quit working. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
Would it be possible to use a bluetooth-remotecontrol to take pics/start videorecording on the 1020? It does support new BT-protocols, so maybe someone with a BT-headset could give it a try?
