Sony Ericsson :: Aino Bluetooth Remote Control (HID)?
Jul 28, 2010Earlier SE phones always had a remote control functionality via Bluetooth HID which I really miss on my Aino.
Do you know any alternatives? Isn't there an app for this?

Aug 23, 2010Ever since I bought my Aino the bluetooth set does not clip properly in the docking station.You have to hold it down for a proper connection. Everything is in tact, nothing is broken.Is there a trick to clicking it in place?

Sep 24, 2010I have too many numbers to fit on my SIM to move to the Aino, so is there a way I can bluetooth them from my C905 onto the Aino? I cannot remember for the life of me how I did it last time, but yesterday lost everything after doing a software update from Sony! Luckily still have numbers on old phone!

Oct 18, 2010Previously I had some other SE phones: K750, W300, W910. All of them had the Bluetooth Remote feature, with which I controlled Winamp on my PC. It was all fine. I like to change of phone, so now I got a W205, but I was very disappointed when I saw that there were no Bluetooth Remote .
So I have few questions:
- Why there isn't this feature, considering it is almost the same screen and software than my previous W300?
- Will I have this feature if I update my phone's software with the newest version?
- Is there any other solution available, such as a Java sofware maybe? I have heard of MobileWitch Bluetooth Remote Control, but I can't get it to work at all.
I really want to control my Winamp with my W205.

Sep 10, 2011I bought my E6 a week ago and I just now tried to connect it to my pc via bluetooth. Amongst the normal services my pc found was some service " remote control". Can somebody please tell me if that can really function and how? And by the way i read all of the discussion about the batterylife, mine was holdin 3-4 days but i found out that it was because of Whatsapp. So the app forced the phone to connect to wifi all the time, even if the App is completely shut down. And we all know there isn't a wifi-shutdown function, so the phone stayed all night connected to wifi. I deleted Whatsapp just for experiment and since wednsday morning untill now I still have 50% battery, with some internet surfing music and so on.

May 20, 2010Curve 8900 (TIM) OS: 5.0.0.461.Yesterday I connected my device to the computer and upgraded the software to version 5.0.0.461 via Blackberry desktop manager. I can't remember witch OS version the device had before.
After the update, i'm having two problems:
1.- When connected to my Dell BH200 bluetooth headset it no longer recognizes the A/V Remote control functions. With the previous software version, when the headset connected, it recognized: Handsfree, Stereo audio and A/V Remote control (witch allowed me to change songs and pause/resume play using the headset buttons). With the new version, it only recognizes the first two (even though in the device properties screen appear as services: Handsfree, Headset, A/V Remote control and Audio sink) . I use my device to listen to music, so having to take it out everytime i want to change a song instead of just using the headset buttons bugs me. Trying to solve this problem, i have deleted the headset from my bluetooth device list, and then paired it again (several times). I have also reseted the headset, and the device but nothing works. Any ideas on how i can get the device to recognize A/V Remote control functions again?
2.- After the upgrade, the block screen button on top of the device no longer works. Also, putting the device into the holster no longer blocks the device. Is this function disabled in new version?

When I select a contact to send the message to, the phone shows the message as going to someone else, the next one up in my phone book, rather than the one I wanted. I bought a new SIM card and now when I receive SMS' it always saves them to SIM memory not to the Phone Memory.I want to save them messages to the phone memory because the SIM can only store a few messages. Jul 27, 2010i bought my Aino for just 1month plus, and just yesterday, when trying to take a photo, I realised there is no "click" sound and when i proceed to take a 2nd photo, it hangs. only when i shut off and on the phone again, it goes back to normal, but after a while, when trying to take a photo again, the same thing happens and it hangs. does anyone have this problem? i called the sony erricssion call centre, but they just tell me to do a master reset everytime i ask them abt any problems, even when i encounter no ringing sound when sms comes in, the call centre aso tell me do a master reset.

That is: When I go into the elevator , It could not get through (normal situation) But when I am out of the elevator,My aino still could not find any signal for transmisson (this ocuurs everytime when I am out of the lift or somewhere such as ktv,restaurant and so on if I turn off the cell the phone and then restart ,it could work again. and it is the only way available to solve the problem. Jan 5, 2010after just 1 month, my Aino has developed a fault. The screen is constantly illuminated, displaying the time, but doesn't respond at all. The screenlock button at the top, doesn't do anything either. I have updated the software, and done a soft reset, (not the hard reset, as this warns of losing all programs), and it made no difference. I can still use the phone if i slide it open. Rang Sony who said take it back to Car Phone Warehouse, but CPW say it will be 2 weeks til i get it back. Does anyone know of anything i could do?
