Jun 12, 2011I created a POP3 account using the "Accounts" app. All is good, it can send & receive emails & they appear in the Blur messaging widgets, which I like.My problem is that I do not want the phone to delete the emails from the server as I get my main PC's Outlook to download & store all the emails when it is switched on.Can it be done? It would be a nice new feature to add if it isn't already in.

Jun 18, 2010I'm currently using firmware V 40.0.005 and trying to update to the newest version.I run the update in the Ovi suite and all goes as it should but when my phone restarts it still runs V. 4 instead of the new one.I've also tried updating through my phone but get a message saying that the server is not responding.On another matter, I try to update Ovi maps to V3.4 and it fails every time, I've tried downloading it to my PC and updating it through Ovi suite and my phone comes up with a message saying that the installer is already running.If anyone would be able to help me with this or point me in the right direction it would be GREATLY appreciated, I've only just got my phone back after it needed repairing due to a fault and now this has gone wrong.

When I send a message from my gmail web client, I often would like to bcc myself so that I have a copy of that message on the device when i am away from the computer. That is the point to having a BlackBerry.....right???he problem is GMAIL and/or RIM but this must be one of the MOST ludicrous things I have encountered. Here is some more information on the problem... CauseGmail webmail accounts do not have separate sent items and inbox folders. The Gmail account web page contains a Sent Mail link on the left side, but this is not a separate folder from the inbox.
Gmail email messages are grouped into conversations, resulting in all sent email messages and replies from others appearing as a single email message entry in the inbox. This grouping allows for easy reading and viewing on the Gmail web page, but in the past, when integrated with the BlackBerry Internet Service account, results in copies of sent email messages arriving on the BlackBerry smartphone as new email messages.BlackBerry Internet Service 2.6 now automatically filters out any new email message that has also been flagged as a Sent Item. Nov 26, 2014I have a Nexus 5 running Android 5.0. I have two email accounts through my ISP. I set up both accounts set to "Delete from server" "Never". The alternative is "Delete from server" "When deleted from inbox."
When I get an email on my Nexus 5, if I delete it, it is gone from the server and when I log onto my computer at home I have no email. If I let the emails sit on my Nexus 5, download them to my inbox at home, then I can delete them from the Nexus 5 without losing them.The default seems to be to delete the message from the server when it's deleted from the inbox whether you choose "Never" or not.

Jun 7, 2012I've bought a new iPhone 4s about 3 months ago. First upgrade went fine with iTunes (ver 10.6.1), so I know it cannot be the connection. For the last 3 months I've been trying to upgrade to iOs 5.1.1, but keep getting an error -3259 message (server has timed out). I've checked my network settings, firewall settings, and have even tried to upgrade using other internet connections, but still no upgrade. This is a big problem, because it starts downloading, and then just freezes. I'm not on an uncapped internet connection, and have lost alot of my package to just be disappointed (the upgrade being 803mb) and I'm starting to resent my once favourite purchase.

The message says "to save data, this message was partially downloaded. And then there is a button to get full message. May 23, 2012I was given a copy of fast 5 which was a bluray with dvd and also digital copy.
I selected the digital copy to be in iTunes rather then Windows Media Player since figure more chance of viewing in future if I get a iPad or something.
So it downloaded to my iTunes put it in my movies section, then I connected my iPhone to iTunes and click sync Movies and made sure it was selected.
But now I get a error message stating "Fast Five was not copied to the iPhone "Lanky71" because it cannot be played on this iPhone"
