I tried rebooting, the track pad has worked on and off for months and now when I try to search anything on the browser it comes up with a unable to find requested server message
I have tried doing everthing that has been posted. but i cannot connect to the internet using the wifi . I am connected to the wifi but i cannot access the internet through the browser or you tube. I have a data plan and a backberry data inclucded in my plan . I spoke to my service provider and had someone in india direct me to turn the wifi off as the soulution I live in an area with low service and require the wifi for fast browsing .
I've seen a few threads on this with older blackberries but not the torch. Ok, I can browse the internet all day with the torch with no problems, but whenever I turn WiFi on I get the "unable to find the requested server" error message.
I get the "Unable to find the requested server" message when I try use the browser. The phone is logged into both a wireless home network and the mobile network so it should have access to the internet.
I've had my Torch for a few months now and I've never had any problems with it until recently where I can't get on to the internet. Every time I try to go on the internet a message saying 'Unable to find the requested server' comes up. Under my blackberry internet service and blackberry enterprise service is says wifi, but it won't connect through my wifi or normally.
So basically my Torch (6.6.0.600/223) won't do stuff over Wi-Fi while at home on my Netgear WGR614v7 (latest firmware), but works on the 3com wireless router at work.I know this is a common problem so please don't be assy about me posting but there's never a fix for this version of the OS.It say's that I'm connected on the drop down menu and in service status but when try to browse the internet is won't load, just says "Unable to find the requested server".So what the actual.
My iPhone 4S has stopped holding a charge overnight. I've wiped it clean and reinstalled the software. What could be running that would cause this to happen? Bluetooth is off and a few location services are on but nothing that hasn't been on the last six months before this stared happening.
I bought the Blackberry curve last week and have had pblms connecting to home wi fi. I have it all set up and the fone recognizes the wi fi on it and only let me connect once to the wi fi.After that it keeps coming up with the message - unable to find requested server - even though it did work once the first time after I had set up the wi fi wizard. I had put in the key.
me and my wife bought the 9800 3 days ago we updated the software and pulled batterys and did the kb02830 send the service books for the blackberry internet service all with no luck. i can log onto my home network (linksys wrt54gs) with no problem but at work were there is public access (that everyone can use except mew/ cell and ipod) i get that message i did the ping test ,diagnostics and all come up good, sometimes ill get cnn and or Internet. why does this happen is there a fix ,is it in the programming ,the network what? we will be most likely taken ours back to get iphones.
I am able to connect to the wifi but whenever I try to load a page in the browser it says "unable to find the requested server" I'm using a blackberry curve 9300 os 6.
every time i try to browse the web at home on my curve 9300 with wifi i get the error message 'unable to find requested surver' if i turn wifi off then i can browse with no problems, i have a data plan and have tried the following:-
1, hard device re-boot 2, downgrade to previous software 3, reset my home router 4, turned off wifi, deleted my connection, re-boot then reconnect.
i have also checked trouble shooting and found that 'Blackberry infrastructure' has a connecting error. im starting to pull what little hair i have left from my head
Completely new to bb and need to set up my work emails, i have got as far as entering my email address and password, then email server and username pops up, i currently receive all my work emails on Outlook, and need to know how i can find my email server and username.
My Bold 9000 screen shows "unable to find the requested server" 70% of the time when trying to load any particular internet webpage. WiFi is strong and connected. Doesn't matter which website it is. Very sporadic. Will load one minute, then when requesting a moment later will show above display. Very unreliable to a point of being useless. Have tried everything online and no resolution.

I am trying to trouble shoot a Blackberry Torch (9800). The trackpad stopped working and I am unable to get it working again. Did all the usual, rebooted, removed battery, etc.
Trying to access Facebok through the BB Facebook icon. It tries to connect but keeps returing the same error message about being unable to find server. I can connect to Facebok through the usual Yahoo, Google but not the Blackberry specific Icon. When I turn on my wireless device it will let me in through the Facebook Icon but not if wi-fi is switched off.
I have only had the Torch since Feb and the trackpad this morning decided to stop working. First of all it was goign hey wire and openeing folders up and sending e-mails without me not touching it and now it just wont work at all, I cant even click down on it.
what is wrong with it and whether there is a quick fix I can do without taking back to the shop. It should still be in warranty so not bothered about that it is just time without a proper phone.
Iv had my torch for a while now and when I'm listening to music it stops after every track. If I wake the screen it will continue to play the next track otherwise nothing. Tried selecting repeat and there is a tick next to it in the menu and still nothing.music it stops after every track
I got my 9900 in August and haven't had this problem before. I can connect to my WiFi -- it shows as connected, strong connection etc. But when I try to go to any site on my browser I get "Unable to find the requested server. This is on my home wifi. But my laptop and WiFi are still fine so it's only on my phone. However, I discovered I am able to connect to other wifis - just not the one at home. The problem originated right when I was downloading some software upgrades. I wasn't really paying much attention to what I was doing and I'm not even sure how I got into downloading these upgrades because I'd never done that before. Anyway, one of the downloads seemed to have got stuck mid-way through downloading.
Is it possible to seek a music track by dragging/tapping the track progress bar. Or am I stuff with having ot hold the fast forward/rewind button like some kind of 1980's walkman. This lumia 820 gets worse and worse with every passing minute.
I updated my software last week and now my call and end call buttons rarely work, and the menu and return buttons on occassion stop working. I can't end a call and disconnect! or call a number on the screen without using the touch screen and enter button on the QWERTY key pad.Now my wifes phone (whose usage is SUPER LOW) is having the same problem....I tried to reload the latest software package, but it made NO difference.
I bought a used 9810 for a decent price, it was listed as *mint* and the cosmetic condition I'd say would be at best very very good (it had a lot of gunk under the case they had on it, I had to clean it for them).
So anyways I got it all set up I tranferred all my info from my older Torch 9800, then I pulled the 9810 out of my pocket and it was flipping through "All" "Favourites" "Downloads" "Frequents" and all of those. So I was obviously confused.
After using the phone a lot I realized that it's just the "cursor" or the pointer that is moving quickly to the top-left of the screen. If I'm on the internet I see the little pointer icon moving to the top-left corner. If I'm on anything like the main screen or blackberry app world there is a flick to the left.
To see exactly what I'm describing look at the video --> Here <-- please.
I think this is the track-pad, some other people on crackberry thought it was the screen, so I would just like to know which it is. Because this is a used phone, I do not know any of the real backround of it. I was told it was well taken care of.
Is there a simple way to fix this? (Factory Reset) or would this trackpad or screen need to be replaced?
the phone gets hang and key pad & trackball doesnt work at times ... whnever i receive a call... i need slide the bar up down to answer the phone... But all of sudden it functions well and again hangs on & while... i tried upgrdaing the version... but seems nothing working out I tried many times removing the battery and fixing it back... But problem remains the same...!
