I have tried to configure rediffmail ID on my Torch 9800. I dont use email client viz MS Outlook etc. But it says you need to change settings there. How can i do it when i dont use them at all and access rediffmail directly? gmail and yahoo id have been configured properly and working fine.

He keeps EVERY email he receives on his computer, but does not want to keep them on his phone. Is there any possible way to delete an email off of the iPhone but keep it on the server? When using Nokia email client via IMAP or POP, I cannot find where I can set it up to leave the message on server while deleting it on the phone: I have got thousands e-mails on server (and coming like hundreds dayly) and I don't want to keep them on the phone after reading them.But I DO need them on the server!

View 9 Replies View RelatedI created a POP3 account using the "Accounts" app. All is good, it can send & receive emails & they appear in the Blur messaging widgets, which I like.My problem is that I do not want the phone to delete the emails from the server as I get my main PC's Outlook to download & store all the emails when it is switched on.Can it be done? It would be a nice new feature to add if it isn't already in.

I recently upgraded from the D1 to the D4 and have my Hotmail account set up via Corporate Sync. Incoming messages sync correctly but messages I delete on the phone do not delete from the server. On the D1 the two-way sync worked correctly for emails deleted on the phone but I can't seem to get it to work on the D4.My settings for the corporate sync account are:Username: full @hotmail email addressPassword: passwordServer: m.hotmail.comUse secure connection: yesProxy: blankAnyone else having this problem? View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Blackberry Curve 9360 is not deleting messages from the server meaning that, after returning home from a week working away, I've still got a few hundred messages to wade through on my PC. I receive e-mails on the PC via Outlook Express. I've clicked on 'tools', 'accounts' then 'advanced' to ensure that the box for 'leave a copy of the message on the server' is unchecked i.e. messages should be being deleted from the server when prompted to by the phone but this is not happening. Not sure what else to try or perhaps there was something I did / didn't do during the set-up of the phone.

We have just started experiencing these issues on some our customers iphones. they click on a message header and get "Message not downloaded from server", this used to happen with just graphic contented or embedded html with graphics, however after IOS upgrade to the latest version, even text E-mail is experincing this.

We need an option/feature so that when you delete messages from the email server that they are removed from the phone. Having to redundantly delete messages from the phone that have already been deleted from the server is ridiculous.
The opposite is provided ... you can choose if you want to delete messages from the server when you delete them from the phone but the reverse needs to be provided as well.

1. I Have to mail-Accounts set up on my E52 (one pop the other IMAP).Both have inbox, outbox and sent but no box for deleted objects.The German handbook does not say how to change that.
2. Since the last update (I guess) the phone deletes messages from the (POP- ) server when deleted on the phone. Is there any way to prevent the mail client on the phone to do that?
