if you can select & copy a line of text from a sms text conversation then surely you can do the same with the WHOLE conversation right? If so, how? Someone out there has figured this out by now I'm sure.

Is there a way i can organize my txts like bbm has it where its in a folder marked person and followed by date ? this would make my life so much easier.

I noticed that now when I SMS, bbm, or even typing here it is giving like a predictive text list, I don't like this can it be turned off. I have auto correct turned off and also auto text turned off, but yet it still shows up.

Is it the texting application that is the source of the memory leak or is the leak somewhere else only sped up with all the back and forth texting?

O yeah let me add also that it seems when I have BBM conversations as well app memory drains. Am I dealing with a memory leak or many memory leaks? Or is the phone just underpowered for all this?
I had a question about the 9500. Im currently using the 9530 from verizon and was thinking about selling it and getting a 9500 cuz i have t-mobile and im tired of the EDGE/edge problem.....I was just curious if any of you happen to know if the 9500 has the EDGE/edge problem that the 9530 has with T-Mobile.

I called Verizon and after an hour long conversation they couldn't figure out my problem, so I hope I will have better luck with y'all.When I go to Setup-Email Settings
My listed email accounts include my Gmail account, but the text is red and it says "Invalid Account. Please Validate" So I click on it, type my password, and it says "Your xxxx@gmail.com password is invalid. Please try again"If I go to the mobile site or go to gmail on my PC I enter the same password and it works flawlessly. It was working fine on my old Storm. I'm not having any other issues with email or data. I am getting my comcast email that I had no issues setting up. I have tried deleting the gmail account and re-adding it. What could be the issue?On a related note, when I first click "Setup" and then "Email Settings" it wants me to log in to the BIS. It has never prompted me to do that until I got this phone.
Basically I downloaded crunchSMS and found its a lot quicker and less laggy than the default SMS program. So when I get a text now 2 icons pop up (SMS and crunchSMS) and I have to go to both to stop my phone from blinking. Is there a way to make the default stop showing up as a new message and a blinking light?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI wish there was an easy way for me to portray the amount of disdain I have for my Storm at this time, however, that won't do me any good!I'm just looking to get some insight to my problem and whether or not it can be resolved! It would be really unfortunate if I had to replace my lump of a phone as I am a college student that just moved away from home and am in the middle of my two-year contract.My phone is still in operating order minus the faulty touchscreen, it still receives messages, emails, and even phone calls. All the side buttons work, in short, the screen is just dead.I did not drop it nor spill any liquids on it and I've performed a plethora of battery pulls. I'm at a loss!Let me describe the events that occurred before (seemingly) death of my touchscreen. I was at a friends house preparing for a 9/11 5k race when I noticed my battery was running low so I left it in a safe place to quietly run out of steam because I had no need to carry a phone during a race. At this point it was still fully functional. After the race, I check my phone to see if it was out of power yet which it was. I get home later that night and charge it only to rudely surprised by an inoperable screen. I cleaned the screen and did a few battery pulls afterwards in hopes it was only a minor problem to no avail.

I was also in a moderate car crash the day prior so perhaps that may have caused some problems? Externally, my phone is in mint condition. I suppose this just hasn't been my week!
According to bbleaks, it sounds as though there insinuating that an OS leak for Storm 9500/9530 will be coming within the next week or so. If its true then sweet! Can't wait!

View 7 Replies View RelatedI got email and I need to copy some text from it and paste it on the other app, but this thing just can´t do it no matter what I try.I pressed long over the text I wish to copy. Then it turns dark gray and 2 blackie tabs appers on both side of the text. That´s all I could do. If I hit the highlighted text once again in order to get copy option on it disappears! If I hit those blackie tabs nothing happens.... If I pressed check sign (in Upper Left corner) then highlight would be gone. I don´t get this - iPhone was so easy to use compared to this one..

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am using the Blackberry Storm, I believe the 9530 (its the first gen). Anyway, just recently my text messages only stay for a couple of days and then they delete themselves or simpley disappear.
There have been numerous cases where I need the information someone sent me in those messages, but I can't seem to find them. Is there something wrong with how the phone is set up? Is this a memory thing? Is there a way to get those messages back, are they stored somewhere?
How many Storm 1 owners are there that's ready to upgrade to the storm 3 when it comes out, or thinking of going with something totally different?

So for instance, if someone texts me "Hey call bill at 555-8999, he is a great mechanic!" it's impossible to just select the phone number. I have to copy the entire message, paste it and delete what I dont want. (yes, I know the phone number usually creates a link to call from, just using this as an example)
"Sorry you cannot attach this to your message." Can't attach copy/paste images to text directly.
I keep getting that error when I am surfing and see a picture, then copy it but it wont paste it to the text box.
