Oct 17, 2014I got email and I need to copy some text from it and paste it on the other app, but this thing just can´t do it no matter what I try.I pressed long over the text I wish to copy. Then it turns dark gray and 2 blackie tabs appers on both side of the text. That´s all I could do. If I hit the highlighted text once again in order to get copy option on it disappears! If I hit those blackie tabs nothing happens.... If I pressed check sign (in Upper Left corner) then highlight would be gone. I don´t get this - iPhone was so easy to use compared to this one..

So for instance, if someone texts me "Hey call bill at 555-8999, he is a great mechanic!" it's impossible to just select the phone number. I have to copy the entire message, paste it and delete what I dont want. (yes, I know the phone number usually creates a link to call from, just using this as an example)

Well the phone saved her number to work instead of mobile where it should be. So I copied it, deleted, and pasted in the mobile slot. Now I can't figure out how to clear out the copy. Every time I go to send a text, at the top of the options is paste. Does anyone know how to clear out the copy so that paste does not show up all the time?

It then asks me "select word or select all". for argument sake let's say I say "select all" If I want to copy this I now have to long press the area agtain.My proposed solution is once you make the first selection, the phone needs to auto-populate the box asking you if you want to COPY, or CUT etc.I mena why wouldn't it? There is NO reason you would ever just want to highlight a section without the next step. I know this may seem silly, but little functions like this add up, and these type of things is what sets the ease of use of a phone to the next level.

Jan 28, 2013I have Jelly Bean on my Maxx HD. I am trying to copy and paste, or even move files from one location to another. It makes no difference if it's from internal to external SD card or vice-versa. Or even from internal to internal storage but the copy paste does NOT work.
What am I doing wrong? When I choose the files to copy or move, then I choose the new location, the process appears to start but the counter stays on 0% and never moves. All I can do is cancel the operation and try again only to do the same thing. What is going on here?
I have tried the same thing using OI FIle Manager and I get the same results.
