Xperia Z3 :: How To Copy Text From Email And Paste It On Other App
Oct 17, 2014
I got email and I need to copy some text from it and paste it on the other app, but this thing just can´t do it no matter what I try.I pressed long over the text I wish to copy. Then it turns dark gray and 2 blackie tabs appers on both side of the text. That´s all I could do. If I hit the highlighted text once again in order to get copy option on it disappears! If I hit those blackie tabs nothing happens.... If I pressed check sign (in Upper Left corner) then highlight would be gone. I don´t get this - iPhone was so easy to use compared to this one..
Im trying to save the text I have received in an email message, but i can't find any way of doing it ! No copy/paste option that i can find.....I tried moving it to another folder, but it only gives me the option to move it to the Inbox where it already is. And I cant find how to create a new folder. is the email client just not good enough in my beloved N8?
My mobile phone is nokia E5?I'd like to know how I can copy text from sms or email message. For example, I want to copy a phone number from my sms and send it via email?
I have a problem with copy and paste text that i already write. please refer the picture。。i make a long press but the black dot not showing up what is the problem. It's very hard to me to write the same text every time if i want to publish my advertisement.
I have searched high and low for a way to copy and paste text from a web site in Chrome using the Xperia z3v. I've tried a long tap, a double tap, a triple tap - nothing works.
I am able to select text, copy and paste it in a Word doc, however. There must be some way to do this on a web site in Chrome. I'm certain I am not trying to select text that is really an image. I am trying to copy text. Here is the link where I'm trying to get the text. It's a recipe. [URL] ....
Maybe I should try to get Firefox for smart phones and see if that works.
after downloading the new software I now can't 'select text' when I want to copy and paste . Is this a bug in the new software because it was working fine before ?
Possible to select individual words inside a text message? I can only seem to select and entire text message.
So for instance, if someone texts me "Hey call bill at 555-8999, he is a great mechanic!" it's impossible to just select the phone number. I have to copy the entire message, paste it and delete what I dont want. (yes, I know the phone number usually creates a link to call from, just using this as an example)
When I select and copy text to the clipboard and when I go to insert the copied text in a text box somewhere else, I have to put two letters in before the paste command shows up. What am I doing wrong. Is there another way to do this?
Is there any way to copy and paste a full selection (not just the text)? Is there any way to create an email group with exchange and have it selectable in my contacts?
if you can select & copy a line of text from a sms text conversation then surely you can do the same with the WHOLE conversation right? If so, how? Someone out there has figured this out by now I'm sure.
I originally posted this question in the device software forum and I haven't received a single response to it. So I will try posting it here. I have a blackberry 9700 bold, obviously since I am posting here. A friend of mine text me, and I saved her to my contacts. Well the phone saved her number to work instead of mobile where it should be. So I copied it, deleted, and pasted in the mobile slot. Now I can't figure out how to clear out the copy. Every time I go to send a text, at the top of the options is paste. Does anyone know how to clear out the copy so that paste does not show up all the time?
I've just switched from iPhone and I must say the android world is a little less intuitive. I cannot find a way to select the image and copy to the clipboard to paste in the email application. Am I missing an option to enable it somehow.
I read that the standard Android keyboard shortcuts for cut/copy/paste are menu+x, menu+c, menu+v. These shortcuts, however, do not work on my Xperia Pro. If these are indeed meant to be the standard Android shortcuts, then please could SE implement them?
When someone asks in this newsgroup for me to attach a screen swipe so that the reader can see what I'm talking about, how do I do that. I know how to make screen stripe swipe. How do you paste it into the text box.
I added a contact to my phone book from a text message i received from someone. it put their phone number under work instead of mobile. so i copied it and pasted it. But now i can figure out how to clear that out. whenever i text someone or what not, it keeps saying paste and still has that person's number in there. is there a way to clear out the copied info so that paste doesn't show up all the time. i have a blackberry bold 9700.
Does not exist on the storm. Just a bad attempt at something the resembles copy and paste. Trying to select text in the native browser is just silly! Fricken thing doesn't know if you're trying to scroll or select text. Who the **** at RIM would even sign off on this cr@p and put it out for release?
My mind was blown this morning when I plugged it in to charge (was down to 3%), and I went to have a shower, breakfast, watched the news, came back up and saw it at 97%.There's so many features I could sit here and praise, but that will take forever, so I just wanted to point out one tiny feature that's puzzled me. I remember in the iphone 2G days, everyone was saying "where the f is cut and paste or copying or whatever"... and I've followed the news long enough to know that it's been added, but i'm not quite sure how it works.Like last night for example, I was browsing the net in Safari when i accidently touched something and a little box appeared that say Cut/Copy/.I wasn't sure how to replicate it, so could someone here kindly tell me how to use this wonderful feature?
Any way to copy/paste from the recent call log on the AT&T phone? Under KitKat and before you could long press the call number and the copy option would pop up. Doesn't happen under lollipop, at least not on the AT&T variant.
