The respective menu is showing as ON (settings, phone, show my caller ID - ON) and greyed out, so I can't disable it. How can cancel it and have my caller ID back to hidden?

As of a couple of days ago, I haven't been receiving messaging notifications.I still recieve the message, they just don't show up on the live tile, the lock screen or make a sound.Also, whenever I recieve a call, I don't get their caller ID. It just shows a number even though I definitely have them on my contacts.I'm using a Lumia 920?
View 18 Replies View RelatedJust got Lumia 710 2 days ago, and upgraded it in Zune to the latest, and now I notice when I call from iphone 4s, it does not show the caller's number. However if I call from other cell phone or primus voip, it's fine.I have tried to swap the sim cards between Lumia 710 and iphone 4s, I still have the exact the same issue, so I am sure it's something to do with the phone not carrier.

Got the 950 last week and had to do a hard reset to get it running properly (battery drain, sluggish, etc) Added Windows Insider and it seems to be running the way I would expect a highend phone to run. One thing I have noticed, even before the reset is that when I get an incoming phone call (from my wife for example) it only shows her phone number and not her photo, contact information, ringtone, etc.

View 1 Replies View RelatedOk I have a new problem which I think was caused by me accidentally deleting my email live tile I could not find how to replace the tile it was only tonight that I realised that it was listed as linked inbox!
anyway the only way I could see to replace the tile was to remove and add my email accounts.
Now when I get a call I get the incoming number but not the name and if I look in the call history there is just the number, when I look later it has the name displayed.
Why the names are not being displayed, I am tempted to do a full reset but my 920 bricked when I did it and it is not back from repair yet so I am scarred to do it on my 1020.
When I make an outgoing call and during a call if I receive and incoming call (Call Waiting) Caller id always shows "unknown".
This is not the case when I receive and incoming call and during the call I receive another incoming call (call waiting) the caller id works just fine.
Already tried Hard and Soft Resets.
I loaded all my accounts and all my contacts are there but when someone calls the caller id doesnt match to my contacts and just shows the number, if I go to save that call to a contact, the number is already there..

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm working on rolling my own MDM service, and I'm trying to combine the SCEP and MDM payloads as the MDM protocol document from Apple suggests. I created my own SCEP web service in C# .Net and I know that the device can get a valid certificate when I just send the SCEP payload. However when I also include an MDM payload that points to the SCEP payload's UUID via the IdentityCertificateUUID key, I get the following error, "The enrollment server did not provision a valid identity certificate." This configuration is the one that is sent after the user chooses to install the initial enrollment configuration (step 1 of phase 2 in this diagram).The device doesn't appear to even make an attempt at connecting to my server, and thanks to server side logging I know that it never reaches my SCEP web service page. This seems to indicate that there's something wrong with the certificate I use to sign the payload. I've separately tried signing it with my SSL certificate (from a pre trusted root authority), my customer MDM push certificate (chained from our vendor cert), and my self-signed root certificate authority certificate (created via makecert.exe) that the SCEP service uses to issue new certificates (i.e. device identity certificates).I've looked at the output from the iPCU (iPhone Configuration Utility) when I create a profile with both the MDM and SCEP payloads, and it isn't a valid profile (I've even tried copying it nearly wholesale). However when I install the profile via the iPCU the error doesn't come up and it begins the SCEP enrollment process without issue.A side note - using a preexisting MDM vendor is not an option here.Below is the profile I'm using:

kind of obnoxious this doesn't exist without jailbreaking buuuut i can't be the only one who wants to be able to hide/toggle and app to be invisible/absent from my homescreens (apple default apps in particular) and be able to show them again via a menu in settings or something similar. of all the 26 default apps apple sees fit to cram onto my device i use maybe half that on a regular basis.i've never even opened reminders, videos, Internet, stocks,voice memos or itunes and would love to be able to get them out of my way.
