I have a problem with receiving calls. Approximately ones a day, a few seconds after my phone is starting to ring, I try to open it (to answer) and it's stuck! And then I can't do anything, except of take out the battery. On the screen I can the phone is still ringing. The software is last version software.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently just got my N900 back from Nokia USA repair on the 21st of August 2010. Upon receiving it back, they notified me that they had flashed my phone and installed the latest software updates on it per privacy policy, which is understandable. However, all was fine until I tried making a call, when I realized that the screen no longer automatically shuts off / turns on when either placing it or removing it from my face.When dialing a phone number, the screen automatically shuts off and I have to unlock it from the bottom. It is unresponsive to touches, etc, until I unlock it.
When the screen is on during a phone call, it doesn't shut off unless I lock it from the bottom.When receiving calls, the screen never lights on and I can't see who is calling me unless I unlock the phone first.I have tried flashing it with the latest Maemo 5 USA image, but the problem still persists.
Had my N85 6 months now and have been very happy with it, until this morning.When I try to make a call, or press "answer" to receive a call, it switches itself off.Same when accessing voicemail.Has anyone else had this problem and if so, if there a solution?

I have a bluetooth hands-free system built into my car. To listen to music from my phone, I plug a cord from the headphone jack on on the phone to an auxilliary RCA jack in my car. It's the standard way any MP3 player would plug into my car.However, when plugged in like this, I cannot use my bluetooth hands free system to either send or receive calls. Once a call has failed to be placed or received, I then have trouble with calls even if I unplog the cord from the headphone jack.Any ideas? Am I using an incorrect setting somewhere? Is there insufficient phone memory to handle this?

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy phone won't let me make or receive any calls, like when i go to call someone it comes up with ringing screen but then turns off and same for when people ring me ; it will come up with the screen telling me they're ringing but if i answer it just turns itself off. i have tried resetting it but it doesnt work - all my software is up to date so i cant update it. it was fine saturday morning but sunday morning wouldnt let me ring.

View 4 Replies View Related1. I can't disconnect calls. I generally happens when I'm on back to back calls. The phone becomes unresponsive for about 10~15 seconds before you could do anything with it.
2. When I'm listening to music and someone calls me, I hear a sharp noise when phone call overlaps music. Once I disconnect the call, the volume in the headsets remains fixed, you can't reduce or increase the volume. The solution here is to remove the headset from phone and plug them back in. If that doesn't work then re-start the phone!
My 920I Galaxy S6 has stopped receiving calls, either if I am using the phone or it is locked I won't receive any call, I have to restart my phone to get the messages of missed calls and call them back. I tried many different modems, bootloader, roms and firmwares and nothing has worked. Also, I tried both on WIFI and 3G/4G and it doesn't work.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I've had my M8 since launch, it's been a great phone until the last couple of months. I will have a full signal but people randomly cannot connect to me. I've tested this myself by looking at my phone with full signal and calling it from my land line but it will go immediately to VM, I can call it again ten seconds later and it works, seems totally random.
I've replaced the sim card and sent the phone back to O2 for repair who just claim there is no fault, I'm at my whits end with this as I use it for work and it's causing me serious issues. Sometimes I cannot make calls either in he same fashion.
IPhone 3GS not receiving calls tonight they are going straight to voicemail. The handset rings but when I answer the phoneline goes dead. Voicemail message is left. All other functions on phone working fine.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI had had many bugs regarding this phone, but this is one of them. Even though, I have researched and they blamed that it was the SIM card. Replacing a new SIM card might be a solution, but I think this may also be a cause of a defective device since the same SIM card still worked perfectly in another phone. This is my second Sony phone and I will not have a third with any reason.
Other major issue that I also had was the phone was automatically reset and erased all data (including external SD). I also researched and they blamed this might be due to someone logged into google account and triggered it. All right, this can be just an explanation, but since this is a very serious issue since the device could hold all types of data that are very critical to users.

Issue: For the last week, I have been missing almost all of my incoming calls. It rings from in/from the calling phone, but nothing comes through on my phone. This started at the same time that my outbound texts started hour-glassing (green/blue rotating circle) for 30-90 seconds before sending - some texts "fail to send" altogether. Also, sometimes when surfing the internet (Chrome and apps) on the network (full bars of 4G LTE), websites don't load - they time out. This has always happened (very occasionally) but seems to happen a lot more often since the texting/calling issues have surfaced.
Attempts to fix: I have updated my PRL. I have ensured that my 'network mode' was still in LTE/CDMA. I have reset settings back to pre-set using ##72786#. I have taken my phone to a Sprint store and was told that they only thing they could recommend was to factory-reboot my phone but that it probably wouldn't fix the issues.
Other notes: I have not downloaded any new apps around the time the issues came about. Also, turning my "network mode" to CDMA seems to fix the incoming call problem (but then I don't have 4G)
For some reason my iPhone 4 camera has started flashing when receiving calls, the alarm goes off, and now even when I am sent texts. I spoke with a guy at an Apple store and he said to back up and restore my phone - problem should be solved.
Unfortunately, I was on a trip and when I followed the directions at home it was to no avail. My phone is still flashing (which I might add is not a pleasant way to wake up).

Befor the problem started i could text and call my friend without a problem, but now when i text him he doesnt get thim (i know its not a delay cause thy never come through) or my phone calls. so i called my carrier and they said the texts and calls have been comeing through there servers and are sent.
iv tryed restoring my phone and all the other things other sites have siad to do, when i start a chat with him it comes up as imessage like normal and i type the message and when i hit send and it siads it sends but the little delivery thing that appers at the bottom never comes up but it. but i cant text everyone els that imessage or just text they all get them so it seems its just him
