Shortly after updating my HTC One M9 to Lollipop 5.1 (running on Sense 7.0), my phone stopped ringing when receiving calls. Why that may be? All other app notifications are working, except for incoming calls.

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy iphone 4s receives calls but has stopped ringing, hence I keep missing calls. I have checked my settings, the volume is up and it is not set to silent. I have always had the settings so that it rings and vibrates together, itrs just stopped ringing.
I have been back through ring tones and clicked on it and it sounds, the speaker works also. It would seem all announcement tones have stopped announcing be it text, call, message etc etc.
Its doing my nut in as I I am missing lots of important calls and am finding I spending a lot of my time checking my phone for missed calls.

Had an S2 for a couple of weeks but cannot figure out how to stop the phone ringing when a text message is received. Previous phones I have had just require either a swipe or any button to be depressed but the S2 just goes on and on until you actually read the message.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been the happy owner of an LG vx8700 for two and a half years now, and I've never had any complaints. This phone has never caused me a single problem...until recently. When I make phone calls, I am unable to hear anything, even a ringing. Sometimes I can finally hear people after about 20 seconds, sometimes I can't hear anything at all. This also happens sometimes when other people call me. Is there any way for me to fix this problem, or is it finally time for me to consider buying a new phone?

Nordic 690 UK 726 3UK 726 PC companion doesn't work. Never happened on KitKat and a factory reset doesn't work either.
I Lost my phone yesterday I tracked it through the find my iphone app. It pops up but says offline. phone is still receiving calls it rings 4 times then goes to voicemail, so I know its on.

So I've had my M8 since launch, it's been a great phone until the last couple of months. I will have a full signal but people randomly cannot connect to me. I've tested this myself by looking at my phone with full signal and calling it from my land line but it will go immediately to VM, I can call it again ten seconds later and it works, seems totally random.
I've replaced the sim card and sent the phone back to O2 for repair who just claim there is no fault, I'm at my whits end with this as I use it for work and it's causing me serious issues. Sometimes I cannot make calls either in he same fashion.
My blackberry is still ringing and receiving messages etc but I can't see the screen.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought a Sony Xperia Z3V phone on Verizon online and it works awesome but it has one issue. Lately, my friend texts me and says he's going to call me and I say ok. I wait for his call but never rings. He texts me and says he called me twice but my phone never rang at all! So I got my house phone and called myself but it didn't ring neither! I called myself 4 times and no incoming call at all! I left myself a voicemail and it did went through. Now here's the kicker, I have to make a phone call in order for the incoming calls to go through.... I tested that by calling my voicemail or house phone.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIm a new user, just got the SE XPERIA RAY yesterday, the phone has a great feature of locking the screen during a call (whether initiated or received) until the user clicks the home button. however upon receiving calls the screen locks (black screen), the home button doesnt unlock the screen and it stays that was after the call ends, until it restarts or i remove the battery. i removed the battery, sim and SD card. I updated the software then made a master reset, nothing works... should i replace the phone? or is there something else to try?

View 6 Replies View RelatedThe main reason i bought the phone.Was because of a virtually non existent signal on the Orange network.(dropping calls etc).Anyway. To cut a long story short.It will find UMA.But takes an age to lock on.And sometimes when making /receiving calls i get cut off and my router crashes (loses internet connection)!If i go into my wifi settings in my phone (wifi diagnostics). Under UMA it says 'UMA connection failed'.But no 'error' code!!
I have checked my router setings and everything seems ok as it does on my phone.
But this morning i contacted AOL router support and they told me that it will not be the router but an issue with the phone!
While i am typing this.It has just found UMA (after approx 1 hour of trying) but if i make a call or receive one , i will more than likely be cut off.I forgot to mention that i have a 'speedtouch'(thompson) router. And am thinking of asking AOL for a 'Netgear'!Would this help?Although my laptop and xbox 360 run just fine via the speedtouch with no problems whatsoever
I have an iphone 6 and just updated to 8.1.2. When I receive calls my phone will vibrate once. When I look at the screen a green bar on top says "Return to Call," but it will not let me switch over to answer the call. Then the call will appear as a missed call. This happens all of the time when my husband calls and only sometimes when other people call. His number is not blocked and all Do Not Disturb settings are turned off.Â

I just got an LG G3 on Sprint a week ago and for some reason some of my outgoing calls will start dialing and immediately just do the "off the hook" tone. I tested to see whether this happens to everyone I call by calling one of my coworkers and the call went through fine. This "off the hook" scenario has happened to me twice for two different numbers, and their phones are not off the hook. When I used my coworkers phone to call them it went right through. I do have service in the area I am at. I even have 3G. This has never happened to me on my Samsung S4 when I owned that. Why is this happening and only to certain numbers I call???

Just today, my profiles are NOT working. I had "Profiles" on silent and calls were ringing The calls that were coming through were set for "active profile" so they were NOT supposed to come through.

While everything seems to be awesome, she is now telling me that she doesn't get a ringing when she dials out unless she puts it on speaker phone. Tried turning off Advanced Calling, multiple reboots, soft reset, and a factory data reset. Nothing seems to fix it.
Is this a setting that I'm missing? Or a bad device?
My ringer won't ring and there is no sound when I receive text messages but if I go into settings to check it all is normal and ringtone will play! I have missed several important calls!!
