Jun 25, 2010Anyone receiving MMS from non-iPhones? If so, from non-iPhones on a different carrier than yours? I am able to send and receive MMS to/from other iPhones but when someone without an iPhone sends me an MMS, I receive: "Callback #: XXX-XXX-XXXX". This was not an issue with iPhone OS 3.x. I've reproduced the problem on three different phones all running iOS 4 (a 3GS and 2x iPhone 4's).On all three iPhones, we have tried resetting network settings, but this doesn't fix it.

Mar 8, 2010I have a problem with receiving calls. Approximately ones a day, a few seconds after my phone is starting to ring, I try to open it (to answer) and it's stuck! And then I can't do anything, except of take out the battery. On the screen I can the phone is still ringing. The software is last version software.

Oct 30, 2014So I've had my M8 since launch, it's been a great phone until the last couple of months. I will have a full signal but people randomly cannot connect to me. I've tested this myself by looking at my phone with full signal and calling it from my land line but it will go immediately to VM, I can call it again ten seconds later and it works, seems totally random.
I've replaced the sim card and sent the phone back to O2 for repair who just claim there is no fault, I'm at my whits end with this as I use it for work and it's causing me serious issues. Sometimes I cannot make calls either in he same fashion.

May 29, 2012IPhone 3GS not receiving calls tonight they are going straight to voicemail. The handset rings but when I answer the phoneline goes dead. Voicemail message is left. All other functions on phone working fine.

Replacing a new SIM card might be a solution, but I think this may also be a cause of a defective device since the same SIM card still worked perfectly in another phone. Other major issue that I also had was the phone was automatically reset and erased all data (including external SD). I also researched and they blamed this might be due to someone logged into google account and triggered it. Galaxy S6 :: Why Is It Not Receiving Incoming Calls

Issue: For the last week, I have been missing almost all of my incoming calls. It rings from in/from the calling phone, but nothing comes through on my phone. This started at the same time that my outbound texts started hour-glassing (green/blue rotating circle) for 30-90 seconds before sending - some texts "fail to send" altogether. Also, sometimes when surfing the internet (Chrome and apps) on the network (full bars of 4G LTE), websites don't load - they time out. This has always happened (very occasionally) but seems to happen a lot more often since the texting/calling issues have surfaced.
Attempts to fix: I have updated my PRL. I have ensured that my 'network mode' was still in LTE/CDMA. I have reset settings back to pre-set using ##72786#. I have taken my phone to a Sprint store and was told that they only thing they could recommend was to factory-reboot my phone but that it probably wouldn't fix the issues.
Other notes: I have not downloaded any new apps around the time the issues came about. Also, turning my "network mode" to CDMA seems to fix the incoming call problem (but then I don't have 4G)

Mar 19, 2012For some reason my iPhone 4 camera has started flashing when receiving calls, the alarm goes off, and now even when I am sent texts. I spoke with a guy at an Apple store and he said to back up and restore my phone - problem should be solved.
Unfortunately, I was on a trip and when I followed the directions at home it was to no avail. My phone is still flashing (which I might add is not a pleasant way to wake up).

Apr 19, 2012Befor the problem started i could text and call my friend without a problem, but now when i text him he doesnt get thim (i know its not a delay cause thy never come through) or my phone calls. so i called my carrier and they said the texts and calls have been comeing through there servers and are sent.
iv tryed restoring my phone and all the other things other sites have siad to do, when i start a chat with him it comes up as imessage like normal and i type the message and when i hit send and it siads it sends but the little delivery thing that appers at the bottom never comes up but it. but i cant text everyone els that imessage or just text they all get them so it seems its just him

Upon receiving it back, they notified me that they had flashed my phone and installed the latest software updates on it per privacy policy, which is understandable. However, all was fine until I tried making a call, when I realized that the screen no longer automatically shuts off / turns on when either placing it or removing it from my face.When dialing a phone number, the screen automatically shuts off and I have to unlock it from the bottom. It is unresponsive to touches, etc, until I unlock it.
When the screen is on during a phone call, it doesn't shut off unless I lock it from the bottom.When receiving calls, the screen never lights on and I can't see who is calling me unless I unlock the phone first.I have tried flashing it with the latest Maemo 5 USA image, but the problem still persists.

I have a bluetooth hands-free system built into my car. To listen to music from my phone, I plug a cord from the headphone jack on on the phone to an auxilliary RCA jack in my car. It's the standard way any MP3 player would plug into my car.However, when plugged in like this, I cannot use my bluetooth hands free system to either send or receive calls. Once a call has failed to be placed or received, I then have trouble with calls even if I unplog the cord from the headphone jack.Any ideas? Am I using an incorrect setting somewhere?
