I recently switched my line to another family members blackberry bold as my navigator/cursor no longer worked. I have not received calls, nor texts, nor emails for last 30 hours from others and calls go straight to voice mail. I have removed battery and rebooted with no resolution.
View 1 RepliesFour days ago it just stops sending texts and calls. When I try to send an SMS a little red clock appears next to the message and then after a few minutes it says 'Retries Exceeded'. Whenever I place a call it immediately turns up 'Call Failed'.Then I realised I wasn't receiving texts/calls either.All my bills are up to date, Orange have checked twice now that there isn't a bar on my account, I have set it to 2G only and 3G only, neither did anything so it's back to 2G&3G, I've checked I'm connected to the right network, I have pretty much full signal. I can use BBM and 3G reliant apps such as Facebook but I cannot send/receive emails with either of my accounts.I've updated to the latest OS and I even fully wiped the handset. Done numerous battery pulls.
Tested my sim card in a friends Bold and I suddenly received dozens of unread text messages and numerous missed calls.Kind of worried right now, as I bought this second hand ages ago... it wasn't provided with my contract (which was an LG Arena that I sold to help pay for the Bold) and I have no insurance to speak of.
I'm heading to an Orange shop tomorrow to see what they say, but I've got an awful feeling it's done for and I'll have to cope with my old Nokia 3310 (it's not even colour screen!) for the next 6 months while I save up enough money to buy another Bold...
Please, please, please any help at all? I've been searching the forums and Google for days, but everyone who had this problem appears to have fixed it with battery pulls
I recently replaced my 8900, and I'm not exactly sure what I did wrong. Before I moved all my email accounts over to the new phone, I apparently set up my Gmail account on the phone wrong. At any rate, I keep getting my Gmail messages via SMS message. It's driving me crazy! It shows the sender as "700."

I am not receiving text messages, emails or reminders until I have entered the 4 digit passcode, effectively waking the phone. I find this incredibly annoying. I'm not sure if I have an inccorect setting or if it is a phone issue.
View 5 Replies View RelatedBefor the problem started i could text and call my friend without a problem, but now when i text him he doesnt get thim (i know its not a delay cause thy never come through) or my phone calls. so i called my carrier and they said the texts and calls have been comeing through there servers and are sent.
iv tryed restoring my phone and all the other things other sites have siad to do, when i start a chat with him it comes up as imessage like normal and i type the message and when i hit send and it siads it sends but the little delivery thing that appers at the bottom never comes up but it. but i cant text everyone els that imessage or just text they all get them so it seems its just him

My iPhone 4S is not sending or receiving text messages (iMessage is fine). It is also not sending or receiving any phone calls. I'm with Fido and there are always full bars/signal available. This happens for about 2-3 days, then starts working, then 2-3 weeks later it happens again.

Last night, my iphone 4s stopped receiving calls and texts. Every thing else works fine. Reseting and rebooting have not helped. Turning off and on 3s has not helped, either.

I've tried all over the Internet, my network provider and work colleagues but I'm have an annoying problem with my iPhone 3GS.
Out of all my contacts in my phone book everyone works ok apart from only 2! The 2 can receive my texts and my calls but the "Cannot" reply to me as if the call the get "Call Failed" and the texts send from their phone but I don't receive them.
I've deleted and re-entered the contacts (They have done the same)......I have done a "Complete Factory Reset" of my iPhone but the problem still persists with these 2 contacts only.
I have not blocked them..(Don't know how to) & I don't have any "Blocker Apps) on my phone but the problem still won't go away.

i am tired of all the problems i've been having since the ICS update. the final straw? A LOT of people unrelated to each other have told me they have called me and text me numerous times yet i receive nothing. wow, after the fifth call you answer the phone and you never responded to my text comments are getting pretty annoying. i hope that with a clean slate i have a better experience with ICS. it's amazing how ICS was released in November of last year and after 7 months of production Motorola screws things up.

I upgraded the power supply and video card. I also disabled the built in wireless card and put back in my USB wifi adapter, which I used on my last computer and had no issues. My phone works like normal everywhere else. When I'm home texts says they failed to send, when It turns out they actually do sometimes. When people send me texts, It tells them it fails also. When I try to make a call, It says Call Failed. When I go outside, I get bombarded with whatever texts I missed but can also make calls.
I've called ATT, which is my provider. They've reset everything and ran out of ideas. I called Geek Squad at best buy. I exhausted their ideas. I'm hoping someone out there has a clue on what could have happened.

I have a xperia x10 mini which was all working fine until i tried to download an application/game. It didnt download so i cancelled the download then noticed that the phone wouldnt make or receive calls or texts. If i try to make a call, it comes up "call ended" almost immediately.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAn employees phone recently took a few spills and was upgraded by corporate. I backed up his old AT&T Curve 8310 before I rolled his number over to his new Verizon Bold 8650 yesterday.Everything was working properly, but due to time constraints I didn't get a chance to restore his contacts/info over to this new phone until this morning and this I think is where I created a problem. After I did a restore on the new Bold, the ability to send/recieve emails as well as text messages stopped (of course I don't hear about this until he's left the office and is off to the airport).  The phone will still send/recieve calls, but email/texts (and presumably web) are a no go. His emails are currently being delivered via POP/webmail and every time he tries to send out an email or a text he gets an error on screen.When I did the restore, did the phone grab the old AT&T settings and tried to supplant them over the VZW settings?
Edit the second After an additional phone call with this employee, he was able to recieve a test message that I sent to him, but when he tried to respond, there wasn't an option for him to send the response that he had written, be it via my message, or by creating a new message.
when I make a call it immediately says "call ended/closed" and when I enter *110# I get this message: Connections problems or invalid MMI-code.When I restart my phone, maybe repeting that process like 10 times then I can send/recieve calls/texts, but only for a brief moment.Before it wasn't as bad... I always got the Connection problem message after a I've made a phone call. But now it is bugging me 24/7.I have resetted my phone, I've even upgraded it. I then wont receive messages until hours later when I guess it finally has sent? Also, in my messaging its showing messages from years ago. I receive a number of legitimate business emails through MS Outlook on my laptop, although some may incorrectly come through labelled "bulk" in Outlook (i.e. an email sent from someone I know just to me). These same emails do not come through on my BB. My BB does otherwise receive emails. how to correct so I receive all emails on my BB. I am not on a BES.

There is no pattern to those I receive and those I don't.i have changed no settings on my phone and everything was normal 7-10 days ago. Yahoo initially told me to remove the Yahoo account on my phone, re-boot and then re-load the account.
