How Do I find a phone number quickley?On the old phone I could select a letter and the phone contacts would go to the first letter I selected. Example if I select a J the contacts would start with Johnson.

I loved to tell Siri to call my wife/spouse, write a message to my brother and so on. But since a few weeks, don't know exactly since when, Siri keeps telling me, that she doesn't find a phone number or email address for abc (where abc is the name of my brother, wife, child, etc) although my contact information is set in the Siri settings and all the relations are given to my contact.
As mentioned in the community, I've turned off Siri, reset my iPhone and turned on Siri again. I've deleted all relations in my contact and set them up again. Someone suggested to delete middle names from all contacts, but I'my not using middle names. So, nothing fixed the issue yet. Â

View 5 Replies View RelatedOn 1.83, a Contact will show as many phone numbers as I entered for it.But on 2.3.4, if one of the numbers is non-standard, like "*82-1-800-555-1212" (entered without the hyphens, of course), it doesn't show up under that contact. It still stores it, but I can't use it, can't dial with it, etc...Is there any way around this bugEdit: It shows up okay, if it's the *only* number for that Contact. But if there's another one (formatted normally), the non standard one doesn't show.

View 6 Replies View RelatedOne of the things the custom ROM makers all do is to implement a change to the stock system to enable the battery status to be reported in 1% increments, rather than 10% as at present. They also change the battery icon set so that the correct % charge remaining is displayed in the battery in the status bar.Why doesn't Moto implement this change in their next update? It would be a welcome change to every user, and it might slightly mollify those calling for an unlocked bootloader. (Though after the glitches I've seen in this update I'm on the unlock-the-bootloader side myself.)
View 12 Replies View RelatedI own a business and having my contacts phone numbers is an abosolute necessity for me.I've noticed that after importing all my contacts from my SD card (after having setup the phone and creating a MotoBlur account, adding facebook, and a couple of email accounts) that the contacts whom had a Facebook profile, it REMOVED the phone numbers that were previously attached to the contact file.Is there a way to keep the phone from doing this? It did this to each contact that had a facebook profile that didn't have their phone number on their facebook profile.I've tried to go in and edit the contact but it tells me that you can't edit a facebook profile / contact.

View 2 Replies View RelatedHas anyone run across Phone #'s failing to be saved? I'm not using anything but the stock directory. I get a phone call or make a call then go to the recent list and go through all the steps to save new contact, including "SAVE" as the last step and the next day it is not there. It is still in the recent calls list but without a name. It happened last week and I was sure I did it right but this week it happened again and I was thinking about last week so I know I "SAVED" as the last step. Does it make a difference if I go "Back" or just go straight to "Home" when finished?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid2 Global which has stopped all audio to selected phone numbers. The calls connect OK but there is no audio at all. No ringing, and no voice in either direction. I know it is my phone as it is now happening on 2 phone numbers. All connections, both incoming and outgoing are affected. Speaker, bluetooth will not work. I do not have a wired option to test the 3.5mm jack. I've factory reset, removed the contact details, power off, ..... Others work well, just these numbers. Latest version and no updates pending.

Its the weirdest thing on min her phone will show all of her contacts when she goes to check her text. In a matter of less than 5 mins the names will disappear and it will just show numbers. She puts the phone down and picks it back up later and its magic her contact names will show up with the messages. At no time do the contact names disappear from her actual address book tho.

1. i noticed that for some contacts that have 4 phone numbers and 2 emails, the phone numbers are all jamed together in one line, rather than listing them one by one. any idea how to fix it? by the way, the contacts are maitained in my google mail/contacts already.

Using the Admiral on the Sprint Network. Unless I'm missing something, it would appear that this phone did not come pre-loaded with a virtual keyboard. I use a LogMeIn Ignition to remotely access our work computers from the phone, but when I need to type numbers they don't register from the physical keyboard. Ignition has a softkey to bring up the virtual keyboard, but since one was not pre-loaded on the phone it doesn't pull anything up. I installed a couple of different virtual keyboards from the Market, but still no luck. Is there an update that includes a virtual keyboard as part of the operating software package? This app works fine on my Android tablet, pulls up the virtual keyboard and the numbers register.

With Lollipop, contacts that have multiple phone numbers now only display one phone number and there is a "see all" button that I need to push to see the additional phone numbers.
