i have a blank spot on my screen which stops me bing able to use some of my apps or text with the virtual on screen keyboard. I cannot use my slide out keyboard as when i press letters they randomly enter other letters then send automatically.

My phone is only 11 months old and the other day one minute it was working, and the next it completely went dead. I tried turning it on and of, charging it for a long period of time, taking the battery in and out but nothing seems to be working. However the keyboard lights up, the phone makes a sound whenever the charger is taken out, the volume keys make a noise, and just when I put it to charge using my Wii it made a different noise. I have already contacted Motorola and Orange and they have told me to reset it?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently purchaed a Motorola MB200 and just noticed that the phone is sending SMS messages to number 122 by itself. For every text I am being charged $0.20 and it is getting annyoing since this happens every 5 minutes. I have gone to the settings and did a factory default but this still happens! This leads me to beleive that there is something hidden on the phone that came from the manufacture that is causing this the happen.

View 7 Replies View RelatedMotorola Droid Turbo (v. 1) Ballistic - I have a dead spot on the upper left hand corner of the screen, annoyingly right where a menu or "back" navigation button usually is in an app. I have confirmed this one spot is dead to the touch with a screen tester. When I turn my phone off and back on, it reactivates the spot for a time, then eventually it goes dead again. This phone is less than 2 weeks old...I just got my settings just the way I like them.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have had a white spot on my screen that is about a 1/4" in diameter for a few weeks now. It is about an inch above the Z in the Verizon logo at the bottom of the screen. It only really shows up on white/light backgrounds such as webpages. I was living with it fine until a few days ago it appears that there is a huge amount of light bleed coming from the whole bottom of the screen now. It almost appears as if the LCD is separating from the screen and allowing light through.
If you take the battery cover off the phone and press on the battery where the spot is in the screen it causes a ripple/wave effect in the screeen, just like if you press on an LCD monitor. I assume that with use overtime the battery has heated/cooled and expanded into the LCD components of the phone, so when you press on it, it is probably directly touching the LCD components. I use my phones for music/movies/games and it is not uncommon for the back of the phone to get fairly warm under my usage.
I've had my phone about 11 months, I went by a VZW corporate store and they are sending me a refurb from what I gathered. But I'm guessing this is a battery/design issue and my new/refurb isn't going to make it much longer than 11 months or so.
This is kind of a question/fyi for people since a lot of DX users are probably nearing the 12 month mark of owning a DX.
A spot on the bottom right side of the screen doesnt respond to my touch (the exact spot is the right " : " on the screen selecter pop-up). It doesnt matter what oriantation the phone is in or screen is being displayed.

A backlight is on but you cant see whats going on the phone. the only thing you see is a black screen, but it is ON you can feel the vibration everytime is press the screen, i just cant see the screen. i dont know what to do and im unable to attend a store to fix it

View 5 Replies View Relatedwent to plug my Atrix in last night, it had been sitting on the dresser. Worked fine when I set it there 4 hours earlier. Battery was maybe half charged, hadn't been used much that day. When I got back to it there was nothing; blank screen, no LEDS, and wouldn't come on. Plugged in and RED LED lit up. Left like this for a while and when I came back the camera light was on, but when I unplugged it went off. Still no power. Read that maybe not original Motorola charger. Got original and GREEN LED came on. GREEN LED also comes on when plugged to PC. When it is unplugged there is nothing.

View 11 Replies View RelatedAfter updating to Lollipop 5.1, I noticed my screen is blank after using any app (messaging, GMail, etc.) and it won't come back. Calls and texts and other notices come (can actually answer calls and see the call screen) through, but home screen and any adjacent screens are all black. The status bar and icons are visible though and I can use the pull down menu. It's as if it is refreshing but never gets to the end. I installed many apps, even used a stock wallpaper), but it still will do this. I have to keep rebooting until it eventually stops; I check it by using a random app and seeing if I can see the screen by pressing the Home button. I also wiped the cache partition after the OS upgrade.

Ths screen just stays blank.As the ablity to run Flash Player is one of the key differentiators for buying a Xoom rather than an iPad.What is worrying more is the rumours on the internet that Adobe are going to stop development on the ICS version.

I have this huge black spot to the top right of my screen. I m sure I did not drop it or damage it anyway. I got a similar problem couple a months ago when a small spot appeared at the bottom left corner of the screen. But it went away on its own in 10-15 days.
