Jun 19, 2012i have a blank screen. is there anyway to recover my screen? i can still answer it but thats it. please help me i have some important numbers in it.

Motorola Droid Turbo :: Screen Go Blank After Using Any Of Apps (Lollipop 5.1)
Jul 4, 2015After updating to Lollipop 5.1, I noticed my screen is blank after using any app (messaging, GMail, etc.) and it won't come back. Calls and texts and other notices come (can actually answer calls and see the call screen) through, but home screen and any adjacent screens are all black. The status bar and icons are visible though and I can use the pull down menu. It's as if it is refreshing but never gets to the end. I installed many apps, even used a stock wallpaper), but it still will do this. I have to keep rebooting until it eventually stops; I check it by using a random app and seeing if I can see the screen by pressing the Home button. I also wiped the cache partition after the OS upgrade.

Jun 16, 2011I've had my droid x for about a year and a half.I've downloaded pictures two or three times but not lately.The other day I downloaded 900 some pictures, mostly web pictures that I did not realize were in the phone,plus 100 or so of my photo's.I instructed the computer to delete the pictures in the phone.After the pictures were downloaded I was playing a game on the phone when Zap! the screen reverted to the screen that was on the phone when it was new, minus all the icons, apps and folders I had accumulated.The apps were still in the app folder, some were intact, some weren't, such as my audio books inside the book app weren't there. Also now when I talk on the phone I have to use the speaker. No audio what so ever comes out of the ear piece.Any suggestions oh how to recover my desktop(s)? and to get the ear piece speaker working?

May 1, 2012Bionic since launch and recently noticed a problem. When I wake the phone up, the dark blue notification bar is blank across the top. No clock or 4g symbol or notifications. Then after a second or so it rolls over with all the information.It does not do it all the time and the period of time it takes to "roll over" varies as well. The phone is stock and I've never messed with root or roms or anything. I have also noticed sometimes that when the screen is off it blinks the green light. It does this sometimes when I don't have any emails or texts or anything.It seems that if I just checked it and know there is no notifications, but it blinks green, it will almost always do the blank notification thing when I turn the screen on. Anyone else ever have this issue? It is very irritating because I usually look right at the top left of the screen when I turn it on and not noticing the clock is gone,I think there is no notifications.

Nov 7, 2011I am running completly stock DX2, 2.3.4 version. regular wallpaper not live, 90mb of free ram when problem is happening,1.6gb free atorage in application storage, 4.06gb internal storage availible , 14.28gb availible on my sd card(16gb), 53 apps installed, version 3.1.5 of the app market.
The problem I started having a few days ago is my dx2 is very slow after using an app for more than 10 min and then backing out or closing the app it shows my home page all blank except for the black square app draw button and the wallpapper. Then in about 4-5 sec the entire home page shows as normal. This has never happened before the last few days. Have had the dx2 for 2 months now.
I have not installed anytihng new the last few days. I use the stock task manager since day one to kill all downloaded apps I dont need running. I was part of the soak test and this is the first real problem I have had. I did not do a factory reset before or after the new gb update. I was thinking of doing one now but it seems to never work no matter what problems I have had in the past with my DX I had previous.

Nov 23, 2015I imported my photos on my computer last night from my phone. Typically I do this by creating a folder on my desktop, copying and pasting from the DCIM folder on the phone. I then will open up Picasa where I edit my photos. All of these steps seemed to work as they normally do (status bar completed, etc) so I went ahead and deleted the pictures in the DCIM folder. When I went to edit the photos, I realized that only about 10 of them were there... not the over 100 I had saved.
Any ways to recover off some hidden spot on the phone? I tried a free app which located many of the photos that were deleted, however, none of the ones I actually needed, which were only taken hours before. I'm thinking they never had a chance to save wherever these recovered ones went?

Dec 16, 2015I opened the calendar shortcut from the circle time widget on the home screen of the droid turbo. While the calendar was opened, I hit the refresh button and now all of my events have disappeared! Everything-past,present,future gone. "Refresh" doesn't mean "delete" so I'm not sure what happened here but I had TONS of info in that calendar. How to recover the events?

So what happens if a user encrypts their data and their phone dies? They will not have the opportunity to transfer it to a PC and the replacement phone will have a different ESN. Is their data recoverable via any other mechanism or is it lost forever?

May 2, 2012went to plug my Atrix in last night, it had been sitting on the dresser. Worked fine when I set it there 4 hours earlier. Battery was maybe half charged, hadn't been used much that day. When I got back to it there was nothing; blank screen, no LEDS, and wouldn't come on. Plugged in and RED LED lit up. Left like this for a while and when I came back the camera light was on, but when I unplugged it went off. Still no power. Read that maybe not original Motorola charger. Got original and GREEN LED came on. GREEN LED also comes on when plugged to PC. When it is unplugged there is nothing.
