I had my droid 4 on and charging as always last night and when I woke up this morning the SD card is reporting as blank or unsupported. Power cycle of phone hasn't helped. I'm working on tracking down a micro sd adapter to check via a pc.
View 12 RepliesI tried to format the card and mount it. When I press format SD card, erase SD card box appears, I confirm Erase everything appears, I select it. Then I select Mount SD card, but nothing happens. I cannot take pictures. The phone works. When I insert SD card in my PC it shows a bunch of folders (all empty).

View 1 Replies View Relatedusing OpenCore (under the stock audio player), the media player will not play newer MP3 files with high bit-rate encoding. Any of my MP3 files encoded in such a manner come up unsupported and will not play. However, lo and behold, I put the MP3s on my ORIGINAL DROID, and they play just fine using Stagefright (under the stock audio player) in Froyo. Attempting to use Stagefright on the X2 results in skipping/stuttering with these files (though there are no issues with other files). So, what now? After all of the music skipping/stuttering issues, certain MP3 files are now just completely unsupported? What gives? I continue to be completely and utterly let down by this POS phone and the complete lack of support.

If an Office 2007 file is sent as an attachment (.docx, .xslx, .pptx) it shows up a "unsupported file type" and cannot be downloaded or saved. I have both QuickOffice and DocumentsToGo installed and the files open fine with those apps and are recognized attachments I use the K9 email client with the same Verizon POP3 email account.Is there any way to get the stock email client to recognize that .docx, etc are valid file attachments and allow them to be downloaded and viewed

I'm seriously considering not to buy Nokia ever again. First I had 6500 slide and it kept changing the settings itself, then I bought E52 but speakers didn't work from the moment I turned it off and had to bring it back to the store and now this with the new one.
Have xperia z3 screen has suddenly gone blank - device is fully charged - (not dropped - no water damage)
Can hear text notifications, can hear phone ringing but no screen
Have tried soft reset - no response not even Sony logo.

Bionic since launch and recently noticed a problem. When I wake the phone up, the dark blue notification bar is blank across the top. No clock or 4g symbol or notifications. Then after a second or so it rolls over with all the information.It does not do it all the time and the period of time it takes to "roll over" varies as well. The phone is stock and I've never messed with root or roms or anything. I have also noticed sometimes that when the screen is off it blinks the green light. It does this sometimes when I don't have any emails or texts or anything.It seems that if I just checked it and know there is no notifications, but it blinks green, it will almost always do the blank notification thing when I turn the screen on. Anyone else ever have this issue? It is very irritating because I usually look right at the top left of the screen when I turn it on and not noticing the clock is gone,I think there is no notifications.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am running completly stock DX2, 2.3.4 version. regular wallpaper not live, 90mb of free ram when problem is happening,1.6gb free atorage in application storage, 4.06gb internal storage availible , 14.28gb availible on my sd card(16gb), 53 apps installed, version 3.1.5 of the app market.
The problem I started having a few days ago is my dx2 is very slow after using an app for more than 10 min and then backing out or closing the app it shows my home page all blank except for the black square app draw button and the wallpapper. Then in about 4-5 sec the entire home page shows as normal. This has never happened before the last few days. Have had the dx2 for 2 months now.
I have not installed anytihng new the last few days. I use the stock task manager since day one to kill all downloaded apps I dont need running. I was part of the soak test and this is the first real problem I have had. I did not do a factory reset before or after the new gb update. I was thinking of doing one now but it seems to never work no matter what problems I have had in the past with my DX I had previous.

At first I thought they were messages that I had deleted in Messaging. Is there a list of Apps that do this? My most recent app is QRDroid so I did delete that. The others (MANY others) are months old but update frequently so how would I know? I've heard about Droid Wall but I need apps to access internet for weather info, movie info, xfinity listings etc so I don't want an app that randomly blocks internet access for apps that legitimately need it. Could it be Call Blocker (Easy Filter) app?

View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter updating to Lollipop 5.1, I noticed my screen is blank after using any app (messaging, GMail, etc.) and it won't come back. Calls and texts and other notices come (can actually answer calls and see the call screen) through, but home screen and any adjacent screens are all black. The status bar and icons are visible though and I can use the pull down menu. It's as if it is refreshing but never gets to the end. I installed many apps, even used a stock wallpaper), but it still will do this. I have to keep rebooting until it eventually stops; I check it by using a random app and seeing if I can see the screen by pressing the Home button. I also wiped the cache partition after the OS upgrade.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI have been using my Droid X problem free for about a month but this morning my phone completely stopped vibrating. It worked properly when my alarms went off around 7 AM but when I got to work around 8:30 there was no notification vibrations, no haptic feedback, and the phone didn't vibrate when I set it to vibrate mode. I didn't touch the phone at all between the time I woke up and the time I pulled it out at work (except to shut the alarms off) so I'm just very confused as to why all of a sudden the vibrate will not function. I have tried rebooting, battery pulls, and changed every vibration setting I could find but to no avail.

Starting (I think) yesterday, it is very slow.As an example, after I enter my 4 digit code, it sits for a second or two before I shows me the home screen.I also noticed that when I come back in, it's always on the main screen. View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had the Droid Turbo for a few months now, and the battery life has been great. It was the biggest reason I bought this phone in the first place. Over the past two days, however, the battery life has DRAMATICALLY downgraded. At 11 p.m. last night, I had 58% battery life with no apps running. The phone was in sleep mode. That much battery should have been able to get me through last night and ALL of TODAY. This morning, I check my phone, and I'm at 22% with the phone not in use for 8 hours.
All of the bells and whistles on this device are turned off. I don't have the reach out display thing turned on where it recognizes your movement. The screen is only taking up 30% of the battery draw. I have the bare minimum notifications turned on - the rest are off. My system did NOT update within the last two days. The battery simply seems to be freaking out.
