I got a new griffin itrip player. charger for my iphone4. I plugged it in, it did not work so I unplugged it. As soon as I took the cord out, screnn went black. It will not re-boot. Plugged it into a wall, nothing, does not get recognized in USB or itunes. Now what?

my iphone 4 suddenly blank, i thought it is out of battery and put on a charger, but in few minutes later my iPhone turns to be too hot on the right half side of its body. i pull off the charger.
the next day i tried to connect with itunes on pc, but its undetectable. what should i do? i think i will need to delete notes, pictures and video recordec by the iphone itself but how to do this since the phone cant be on at all.

I'm seriously considering not to buy Nokia ever again. First I had 6500 slide and it kept changing the settings itself, then I bought E52 but speakers didn't work from the moment I turned it off and had to bring it back to the store and now this with the new one.
Have xperia z3 screen has suddenly gone blank - device is fully charged - (not dropped - no water damage)

I had my droid 4 on and charging as always last night and when I woke up this morning the SD card is reporting as blank or unsupported. Power cycle of phone hasn't helped. I'm working on tracking down a micro sd adapter to check via a pc.
View 12 Replies View RelatedMy iPad 3, iPhone 4S, and both Macs are each set to automatically download purchased content. When I purchase a Universal App on a device other than my iPhone, the iPhone will first ask me for my iTunes password, then indicate Internet usage (the spinning "fan" at the very top of the screen). After the fan is done spinning - this takes about the time needed to download and install an App - there is no icon for the app. It also does not appear if I seach for it. But the App Store app insists it's been downloaded, and if I connect the phone to my Mac, it will appear within iTunes as being on the iPhone, icon and all.
The only ways to rectify this are:
(1) reboot the phone (holding down Home and Sleep buttons) without connecting to the Mac first; or
(2) if I've already connected to iTunes on the Mac, then (a) delete the app from within iTunes and sync (b) reboot the phone (c) reinstall the app from within iTunes on the Mac.
Is this a bug, or a problem with my phone? What steps should I try short of a restore-as-new from iTunes? It has been happeing regularly for some time now. I which I could remember when the trouble started - maybe with the iOS 5.1 update but I'm not sure. Also, there are no problems with iTunes content purchases (music, movies, etc.)

It would have been okay for me to set all three screens back to their original configuration but unfortunately, I can't edit the main homescreen. I can edit the two additional screens but NOT the main (1st) homescreen. It just says homescreen is full! Last thing I installed was the Xmas theme Rugge from the Nokia store.

I have missed the 24th preorder date and I was wondering if by any chance even 1 in million manage to get on hold of a payg iphone 4 (uk) from a carrier like orange, 3 etc. Is there a difference having an officially unlocked iphone from apple vs an ultrasn0w etc. unlock device?? (other than any ethical/moral issues ). Any specific stuff that I will not be able to perform with such an unlock?, any downsides like slowdowns (if it’s a 24/7 background running service etc) ?
I know that O2 official unlock iphones for $15, but I haven’t found any certain info on the other carriers. (note: the phone will not be used to UK at all, so some proposed actions from carriers like: “use the phone for 3 months with the carrier and then ask for an unlock” will not work in my case.)

Basically nothing. I didn't change any settings on my iPhone or on my Hotmail account. This just randomly occured one day. All of a sudden Twitter has stopped working on my phone. Whenever I click on the app twitter loads to blank white screen with a blue bar acoss the top. Also when I try to go into the twitter settings menu it freezes and I have to go back to the home screen and end the settngs process before I can use it again.
I've tried deleting and re-installing the app, turning phone on and off, resetting the network settings and restoring from a back up and nothing works. I also tried downloading Echofon, another twitter app which wouldn't work either which suggests the problem is with the phone.
