My iphone 4 is completely blank. I can't do a hard reset on it. It is charged and when I plug it into the charger, nothing happens. Before the screen went blank the apple symbol appeared with lines through it, then the phone stopped working.

I recently bought an apple 4S 16GB phone and been using the same since last about 20 days. Recently for no apparent reason, my iphone 4s went completely blank, neither power nor Home button worked. I had to press power and home button simultaneously to reboot and get it started. It happened twice in a span of 3 days. I am using Vodafone 3G services in India. Its quite annoying to find your phone in a vegetable state and wait for 1-2 minutes to get it rebooted every now and then.

Yesterday night I was trying to install Nokia Belle on my C7 through Nokia suite. However, in between the installation process, my Nokia C7 went black and the installation could not be completed.
Since then my phone is blank. Now, when I hold the power button, the phone vibrates but does not start. The white charging light on the top blinks for sometime and then stops and nothing happens.
I believe it is a software problem as the phone is not starting even after charging my battery thru an external charger.
The original software was Symbian O3. Can I do a hardware reset? I can live if the phone data is lost.

Today, as I got up, I noticed that my blackberry cure 8320 had a white screen. This has never happened before, so I just removed the battery, and put it back in. Something I noticed was that when I inserted the battery, a steady red light appeared for about six seconds, and the screen was completely blank. Thinking that this would go away, I stepped outside, and I got a call. The screen was still black.
I was able to answer the call perfectly fine, but I couldn't interact with it in any other way other than the voice command button. The blackberry I have is unlocked. I ordered it online from BestBuy. It's a T-Mobile blackberry running on AT&T. I've also tried to connect it to my laptop, and it works fine. I've re-installed my OS (4.5), restored it, deleted everything on it, and still no luck.
I have a blackberry torch and when I slide the screen up it has a completely blank black screen, but when i slide it down it works fine.

i am in my house so am therefore connected to wifi, it even says connected to wifi, the 3g is up and i usually have 3 - 5 bars. my carrier has just been topped up and it still doesnt work. whenever i go onto the internet it says "safari cannot open the page because the network connection was lost". if i go to Internet it says "cannot connect to Internet" and my texting apps (i.e., whatsapp) just say connecting and cut out for ages. this problem occurred yesterday in the morning and i did some things like turned off and on cellular data and it started working again. later it cut out again for longer and i fixed it after a while now it has cut out and it hasn't come back since. i have tried resetting network settings and i have tried taking out sim and putting it back in.

As I scroll down it would showed that I have installed an app that I have deleted alreadt but when I went to check the summary of the app, the button that said 'free' went to the 'install.' Yet I have never clicked on it. It's a minor issue, I didn't redownload it. However, when I went to the Updates -> Purchased -> All sections. It has shown all the apps I have installed on my iPhone including the ones I have deleted but they have the iCloud icon instead of the 'installed' status. I tried looking up previous threads to see if there is a solution of competely getting rid of the old data apps off my phone. I tried to check if any old apps are on my iTunes but it only shows my current installed apps that I didn't delete.

I attempted to do an ios update tonight...I think it was from 5.0 to 5.01 (not sure). It went through the downloading process and I believe it was at the point of restarting/installing, not quite sure, I wasn't totally paying attention. But then I got a message from iTunes saying that an unknown error occurred and the update could not be completed. Now my phone appears to be completely screwed.
I'm left with a screen on my phone that has the iTunes logo at the top and below is an image of the iPhone USB connector. I can't get away from the screen...turn off/on, hard reset, etc all takes me back to that same screen. What's worse, my iTunes is no longer showing my phone as an option.
