Jul 5, 2011I know how to delete an app, but I want to know how to remove the icon also? I want it completely gone off of my phone like I never downloaded it in the first place. Is there anyway to do this or will I have to keep the icons hidden and will my uninstalled list in blackberry apps just keep getting longer?

The problem is when I delete an email on my phone, it's not deleting it from the Gmail server (it's still there if I check email on my PC). Some setting on the phone or in Gmail on the PC that I'm forgetting about?

Mar 26, 2012My iPhone 4 just went completely black. It had 74% battery, dropped a call, I tried calling back, then unplugged it from car charger and then it went completely dead. Holding down lock button on top doesn't do anything. Plugging in to Mac doesn't do anything.

IPhone :: 4S Internet Has Completely Cut Out
Apr 13, 2012i am in my house so am therefore connected to wifi, it even says connected to wifi, the 3g is up and i usually have 3 - 5 bars. my carrier has just been topped up and it still doesnt work. whenever i go onto the internet it says "safari cannot open the page because the network connection was lost". if i go to Internet it says "cannot connect to Internet" and my texting apps (i.e., whatsapp) just say connecting and cut out for ages. this problem occurred yesterday in the morning and i did some things like turned off and on cellular data and it started working again. later it cut out again for longer and i fixed it after a while now it has cut out and it hasn't come back since. i have tried resetting network settings and i have tried taking out sim and putting it back in.

Mar 30, 2012I have noticed when I scrolled down the app list in a category. It's always the Free category section where I download my apps. As I scroll down it would showed that I have installed an app that I have deleted alreadt but when I went to check the summary of the app, the button that said 'free' went to the 'install.' Yet I have never clicked on it. It's a minor issue, I didn't redownload it. However, when I went to the Updates -> Purchased -> All sections. It has shown all the apps I have installed on my iPhone including the ones I have deleted but they have the iCloud icon instead of the 'installed' status. I tried looking up previous threads to see if there is a solution of competely getting rid of the old data apps off my phone. I tried to check if any old apps are on my iTunes but it only shows my current installed apps that I didn't delete.

Apr 29, 2012I attempted to do an ios update tonight...I think it was from 5.0 to 5.01 (not sure). It went through the downloading process and I believe it was at the point of restarting/installing, not quite sure, I wasn't totally paying attention. But then I got a message from iTunes saying that an unknown error occurred and the update could not be completed. Now my phone appears to be completely screwed.
I'm left with a screen on my phone that has the iTunes logo at the top and below is an image of the iPhone USB connector. I can't get away from the screen...turn off/on, hard reset, etc all takes me back to that same screen. What's worse, my iTunes is no longer showing my phone as an option. It's like my phone is no longer recognized at all. I've unplugged and plugged it back in several times. I've restarted iTunes, restarted my computer, etc.

Aug 21, 2014I tried to restore my phone while it was at 1%, and it just completely died. I haven't been able to charge it since 7:30pm, and now it's 3am, and it still hasn't come back on.
