I have noticed when I scrolled down the app list in a category. It's always the Free category section where I download my apps. As I scroll down it would showed that I have installed an app that I have deleted alreadt but when I went to check the summary of the app, the button that said 'free' went to the 'install.' Yet I have never clicked on it. It's a minor issue, I didn't redownload it. However, when I went to the Updates -> Purchased -> All sections. It has shown all the apps I have installed on my iPhone including the ones I have deleted but they have the iCloud icon instead of the 'installed' status. I tried looking up previous threads to see if there is a solution of competely getting rid of the old data apps off my phone. I tried to check if any old apps are on my iTunes but it only shows my current installed apps that I didn't delete.
I don't have security set for the lock and it is a nuisance. It serves no purpose whatsoever. I have gone through everything on the phone trying to find a defeat for it but can't find one. Can it be removed?
I sold my 3GS last week and then I put my ATT simcard into a temporay phone, I now think that I lost my data plan. I'm doing an upgrade swap so what do I do to get my data plan back when I have the iPhone 4 ?
i synced my iphone to itunes and when the syncing was done all the appdata had been romoved and all the apps i had sorted in different folders spread out on ten screenpages. i have the appdata backed up on icloud but how do i get the data from icloud to the phone?
how do I disable data completely avoid data usage and only keep wifi. I have Background Data in Off and wi-fi connected, but I still getting charged for data usage.
Last night, it seems my world totally collapsed when I discovered my Blackberry Bold 9900 was factoring setting up, everything gone, my text messages with important information, my photos, BBM contacts, saved password and data, my calendar appointments, both email accounts and all my new contact details. I'm just devastated, just so shocked. If I could cry, I would.
I have a Z3 Dual and have smashed the main display. I want to delete all data before sending for repair however the screen is not responding at all. Â I have gone through the steps here - [URL] .... however i am unable to switch the phone off completelly - only a soft restart using the power and volume up key - the phone then restarts before i can go to step 4 where i connect the usb holding the volume down button. By that time the phone has restarted. Â Allowing the phone to completely run out of battery is not an option as the above requires at least 80% battery even when plugged in.
I have 2 contacts that was in my phone yesterday and today those two contacts are just numbers, I RE-ADDED them and a few mins later it happened again.....WTH?!?!

Everyone keeps saying that doing a restore removes the jailbreak, making a jailbreak undetectable.That seems to only be partially true.I had 3.1.2 jailbroken and used LockDown-App to protect mail/sms and the like with another, if tiny protection so I could hand out my phone knowing not everyone could read my mail and stuff.
However, that eventually also caused me to have to restore and when I realized there's a JB for 3.1.3 (spirit), I decided: What the heck.I restored to 3.1.3 and because my backup was corrupt, had to set up as new.I jailbroke with spirit and haven't installed LockDown again, because it kept crashing on me.
Today I SSH'd into my phone and to my surprise, I found remnants of the LockDown App still being there, directories and files.So, unless there's something else I should have done before or while restoring, the simple act of restoring as new does NOT seem to entirely remove all traces of a jailbreak.In theory, Apple could jailbreak allegedly bricked phones and so find traces of previous jailbreaking. Cause for concern?
I remember that at 5.0.1 there used to be in the address bar after a safari page was fully loaded an option "reader". Has been removed in 5.1.1? I can't find it anywhere..
I just found out that you can’t copy more than 5 pics, when you want to paste them in mail like we used to do in all OS 3’s prior to 4.0. You can share more than 5, but it is now limited to 9, and if you share more than 5, your only option is to MMS the pics. Bottom line is you can only email 5 pics at a time.So, Apple had to purposely remove the option to copy more than 5 pics. I guess someone decided we really didn’t need that function.
Why is my IPhone removing the .wav file that is being sent via text message to my phone? If I send it via an email it comes in but not via a text message sent to my phone number.

I've just noticed this behavior. I have several appointments during the day, and they all have alerts on them. They sync to my phone OK, but I noticed that they are removed as they occur. THIS IS NOT THE BEHAVIOR I WANT! I often like to review what transpired a previous week?
While creating Applle ID was forced to add the credit card details on Iphone which was purchased yesterday . After creating an ID , transaction of 1 Rs was made on Credit card. Today when i removed the details after visiting Itune store settings again RS 51.60 was debited . Any reason why when i have made no purchases ? This is a Risk and want it to sorted .

Where did my iTunes go? I upgraded my iphone4 and it removed my iTunes and other apps too. What happend and how can I get iTunes back on my iphone4..? Also a photo album from my iPhoto on my computer sync with my iPhone and I cant figure out how to delete that album.
Two days ago i removed my sim and a small copper board came out with it, its the same size as the older style sim and shape, the phone still works perfect apart from it now says no service and i cant make calls etc,
My iPhone 4 just went completely black. It had 74% battery, dropped a call, I tried calling back, then unplugged it from car charger and then it went completely dead. Holding down lock button on top doesn't do anything. Plugging in to Mac doesn't do anything.
