BB Torch :: 9800 Right Side Volume Button Not Working With Any Music Program
Oct 11, 2011I have a Torch 9800 and the volume buttons on the right side of my phone don't seem to be working with any music program (Pandora, Slacker Radio, etc.) other than the normal Music program that comes with the phone. Is there something I need to do to configure the buttons for third-party music programs? It used to work just fine with these programs but no more!

May 14, 2012I am receiving important emails on my Iphone 3gs that never show up on my computer. I need them on my computer. Is there a way I can be assured they will be received on my computer?Also, AT&T added a folder on my Iphone in the mailboxes called "synched messages". There was a problem that caused them to do this and stated we could delete the folder after we dealt with the emails they put in that folder. I do not find an option anywhere allowing me to delete the synched message folder.

Jun 25, 2012Why can't I set my iPhone to give me an alert when an important email arrives? This new feature would alert me when I get an email from a predetermined sender or subject line. AOL offers this feature. Why can't my iPhone do it too? The phone would need to read the sender address and subject line of each email, and then bounce it against a list of pre-configured alerts that the user programs. This would also cut down on data consumption, since users would not have to check and recheck their mail when waiting for somethign important. With an alert, you just set it and forget it.

Samsung Galaxy S II :: Error "Kies Has Stopped Working, Close The Program"
Oct 24, 2012Since I just did a upgrade of Samsung Kies to (File name: Kies_2.5.0.12094_28_8.exe) everytime I start the application I get the error "Kies has stopped working, Close the Program". This happens whether or not I have the phone connected via USB. At first I had the problem to do with KiesPDLR has stopped working. I followed the advice of an uninstall and clean re-install and I think it worked a couple of times. Now it won't work at all, even after another clean install.The other symptom I get is that when I boot up my machine it says that Kies Air has stopped working (not that I'm using it).I'm running Windows 7 64 bit.

Jul 12, 2010I just upgraded from a 8330 to the 9650. One of my favorite features of the 8330 was the "important calls" exception to the current profile. This was very useful because I work night shift and sleep during the day. I would set my phone to Quite and have my wife and parents listed under important calls because they knew not to call during the day unless it was an emergency.
Well I went to set this up in my new device and was shocked to see that it isn't there. Did RIM move the option somewhere else or is this very useful feature a thing of the past?
Also I don't just want to set a custom ringtone for them that will always override the current profile because sometimes I need my phone to be totally silent (i.e. in meetings). On the 8330 there was a check box that I could turn the exception on and off with.
BB Bold :: Indox Showing Only Important Mails?
Jan 6, 2012I am able to see only important mails in E-mail Icon and all the e-mail messages that comes can be seen only in message icon not in e-mail icon and in e-mail icon it is showing important at top only. I had checked cannot the filter also even if one can change it cannot be saved for further use. Please check, I have OS 6.0 bundle 2949 on my Bold 9780 with Airtel as service provider.

Nov 11, 2012this morning I took my phone off charge and it crashed like I'd taken the battery out but I hadn't.It got stuck on the O2 loading page and wouldn't turn on so took the battery out and it did the same thing getting stuck on the O2 screen. I found that if you turned it off and on with the power off button it would turn on.After it turned back on lots of the icons were missing, BBM, Browser, Facebook, Emails, Profiles icon (for changing from vibrate to silent etc) and other things that I can't remember just know there's more than that missing as the folders and menu are very empty.I can now get to BBM and the browser using the switch applications menu and they work fine so the applications don't need reinstalling the icons have just disappeared.
I've looked for them in the folders and checked the 'show all option' and changed the theme back to the original and still nothing. Also done lots of restars taking battery out and waiting etc. I haven't upgraded anything recently so can't have been that changing any settings.Also I don't have the cable to attach phone to the computer to back it up and reset to factory settings
Really hoping there's a different way as the applications are there and work fine just need to find the icons?

So i did.Problem was just, when i logged on my Windows Phone again, I couldn't find = Settings, Phone, Messages and several other features. My backup has gone missing too.
BB Curve :: Only 'Important' Emails Showing In Its Folder
Oct 2, 2011I have configured my mgail and official emails on my BB Curve. Till a few days back, everything was working perfectly but suddenly, some automatic change happened in the filters of both accounts, and I'm able to see only emails marked 'Important' in those icons. For all the other emails, I have to go to the 'Messages' icon.
When I check the Filter option for my gmail (or official mail) icon, I saw that it was default marked to 'Important'. I am able to change it to 'Inbox' and see my inbox emails temporarily but there's no option of saving that filter type. When I open my gmail (or official mail) icon the next time, I only see the 'Imporant' mails.

I have set up the important calls under a profile which only my girlfriend can call when I am on nights. However, whatever I do, the phone never rings, even when I have set up important calls only.

I don't think background apps are running when this occurs, but anyway I want to know if a successful sync can take place while it is enabled only when plugged in to a charger.

Aug 17, 2010My E71 has died a slow and painful death.Now I've read elsewhere on this forum that the E71 does not support charging via the onboard USB port however:
- My E71 is absolutely dead flat out of battery;
- My E71 is refusing to charge due to some inherant damage to both power charger and charging circuit (because it still won't charge on my Husband's charger);
- I have some very important information stored on the phone memory (not SD card) that I need to access and have no real way of doing so; and
- I have recently done a backup of the phone, but won't allow me to access the file without the phone connected.
BB Style :: Have Lost Several Important Emails By Assuming They Were Safe In A Folder And Then Deleting Them On It?
Nov 18, 2010I use Hotmail for email. It used to be that if I moved a message to a folder in hotmail (on my laptop) and then deleted it from my inbox on the BB, the message would still be in the folder. Now it seems that if I delete a message on my BB, it deletes it from my email account, no matter where it's stored. Is this new or do I need to change a setting to fix it? I have lost several important emails by assuming they were safe in a folder and then deleting them on it.
