i recentl removed an application on my mobile, the app's gone but the Icon is still in the installation folder can someone please advise on how to remove the icon.

I have a new Blackberry Bold 9700, The Blackberry Maps are? were, or maybe partly missing? I called AT&T Support they transferred me over to advanced support, the woman there catogorically stated there is no compatible version of BB Maps with the 9700, doesn't exist. This Morning I decided to investigate my Application Folder or Inventory on the 9700 and sure enough its there, unless I have a broken brain under 3 rd party applications it says " Blackberry Maps 5..0.0" 7 modules installed and it shows the Update Date, the purchase date I connected to Blackberry Desk Top Manager and upgraded all the software.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI had a very odd thing happen I had moved 5 or 6 apps to the SD card using the manage apps function on my phone this morning when I turned my phone on the apps that I had moved to the sd card were gone there was a different icon in place of them when i pushed the icon it said that the program was not installed I went back to manage apps function and the app was still listed I tryed to move them back to the phone but it failed so I had to reinstall them from the market now they work just fine again I have alot of PDFs and Docs and Exel files on the SD card none of them were affected I also have links on one of my home pages setup to open up these files and they were not affected so it seems as there is not a problem with the SD card just with the apps that I had moved there.

The first one doesn't work, the second one is ok. I tried to delete the faulty one, but I always get an Error (File Corrupt), and the icon stays in my Applications folder. View 6 Replies View RelatedSome minutes ago i tried to flash the newest firmware again to get my phones internet (not WiFi) running again. I did the same with previous versions some month ago so i know the behavior of NSU.
Normally, if you already have the most recent firmware installed on your phone and you try to update, NSU tells you that there is no update available and that you could install the current one again.
If you have a firmware installed which is newer than the most recent one for your ProductCode, NSU tells you that there is no update available but it doesnt give you the option to install "the current one" again.
Ok, as i tried to install 21.0.045 again - and i didn't changed my ProductCode - NSU didn't gave me the option to install the current one again. Nokia has removed Firmware 21.0.045, at least for the ProductCode!

Problems with my nokia again :-(
A couple of days ago the Nokia Map 3.0 program just failed to start.
Earlier the same day it worked fine. But suddenly just the startscreen loads and disappears. I've tried to reinstall the map program. I've tried to reset the phone to the original factory settings, but the problem persists.
In this process I have lost most of my settings for voip, email, and more, so now it is less work to buy a new, non-nokia phone, than to get this **bleep** set up again. Both the N85 and N82 have been very unstable and with poor support from nokia.
Of course this happened at the most inconvenient moment, for Nokia, since I'm about to buy new phones for my family. I hope I can get a good answer from Nokia, on how I can get the map and phone working again.
Is there any program for Mac and Nokia N97 mini to handle and send sms and such on screen, as can be done with PC Suite on PC? I tried Fonelink but it doe not wotk with N97.

I use Swiss Manager to try and terminate Maps but it does not terminate. Only solution is to switch off phone and switch on again. Should I delete and reload Maps?
