How do you remove apps completely? I removed apps from my iPhone 4, but every time I connect my iPhone to my computer (MacBook), I get update requests from deleted apps. I want to get rid of this junk completely.
I've read with interest the threads about CDMA signal strength being affected by the position of the SIM card, etc. I'm in a rural area with no GSM coverage, and any international travel would be something I could prepare for by installing the card. Does it make sense to remove the SIM card completely, in the interest of signal strength, and store it in a safe place? I'm in an area where testing would be difficult (spotty signal to begin with).
I know how to delete an app, but I want to know how to remove the icon also? I want it completely gone off of my phone like I never downloaded it in the first place. Is there anyway to do this or will I have to keep the icons hidden and will my uninstalled list in blackberry apps just keep getting longer?
I have a number of apps on my iPhone 4 that are resisting removal. First of all, unlike my iPad, none of them show an "X" in the upper left when they wiggle. Next, some apps do not delete upon syncing when I uncheck them in the iPhone apps tab. Third, some apps show only on the iPhone, but not on any of the iTunes sections, e.g., library or device app tab.
How do you remove anything from iphone 5c? I have duplicates songs I'd like to remove as well as remove some apps to see if I can prolong battery life.
I have tried to get the little "X" on the app when I want to remove it and it does not come up. I went into iTunes to remove the app and the "remove" option/button is "greyed" out. I have backed up the phone, updated the phone and rebooted the phone. Is this a "new Bug"?
When I finish uninstalling the pre-installed apps, it will reappear again after I restart the phone, it's kinda annoying! Is there any method that I can uninstall these apps completely without they will reappear again after I restart the phone?
Ok what I almost did was restore my iPhone but then relized it would go to 3.1.3 so I stopped.I want to start my jailbreak over. I have downloaded so much apps and supporting apps that I don't want on here. Alot of the support apps though I have no clue what they are for.
If I manually delete all apps through cydia or rock and then go back and install the ones I want to keep, this will be safe and effective way off ridding all jailbreak info from my phone and starting fresh, correct?
Do you guys think the iPhone 4.0 will have the availability to remove system apps. (stocks, weather etc)I hope so. I don't use stocks so removing them like I can with 3rd party apps would be ideal. to restore them just plug the phone in to iTunes and from the app tab drag the system icon over to the phone.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and I really want the Status Bar to completely disappear from all my apps. I achieved it to disappear on my home screen with Nova Launcher, but not my apps. My phone is not rooted, but I will root it if I have to. I just want to have a clean swipe down of the notification bar without the status bar displaying.
Recently my S2 completely locked up and froze so I removed the battery and restarted it but now I have lost all my apps. Just wondering if there is a way to get them back so I don't have to start again on some of them.
I tried several time to find the way to delete some rubbish apps but I could not find the menu with delete option. Also in Ovi suite, no way to delete apps.
I like the apps offered in BB App World but there is a limit as to how many I can keep. Even though I delete some apps it shows as 'uninstalled' or even 'unavailable'. Is there any way that my deleted apps can be removed totally without evidence that I had it? Another question, are the deleted apps taking up space on the memory on my phone? Can I transfer them somewhere else?
I got my lovely Desire HD. First Android phone and first HTC phone. I have had few issues. I had the lagg issue that people have, but seems to have gone for now. But I was wondering 2 things.
1. My screen goes off after 5-10 seconds of not using, how do I extend this?
2. Got loads of pre-installed apps, like soundhound, stocks etc. Can I remove these?

When on my BlackBerry I click on BlackBerry App World.. then I click on My World
It lists my installed applications at the top... at the bottom though it lists my uninstalled applications. I do not want it listing my uninstalled applications... I didn't pay for them, I don't use them, and I'm never going to reinstall them.
I tried the ALT+r,s,t thing and it did refresh my app world... but my uninstalled apps. are still showing up. I also did a battery pull, and yes... they are still showing up.
Is there a way to remove this annoying uninstalled list... I know I can collapse it... but that's the thing... I don't want anything showing up in that list... that list is pointless to me.. if I uninstalled something which is free I should have the option to clear this list.
After my recent SD card swap, I've run into a problem. I have a few apps that show as not installed, and are no longer on offer at the play store. Unfortunately, the icons for these apps still appear in my app drawer. If I hold one and try do delete it, I'm told that system apps cannot be deleted. Trust me, Cookie Crush is not a system app.
Any tips for getting rid of these icons and cleaning up the app drawer?
I am using Nokia E63 Mobile Device. Recently I re-installed my Mobile Operating System through Nokia Customer Care - but still I am seeing Application references in 'App Manager'. How do I completely remove / Delete these application references from my Device?

I am using a N8-00 device, in Ovi Store i want to download an install some applications, and apps doesn't download but it's connected to internet. How can i stop to download application?
I'm not using a lot of built in apps . But they spend a lot of RAM.Especially Facebook. Even I close/stop from "Running Services", they come back after a while.
These apps are unnecessary for me :
Facebook Office Suite Track ID Whats App
How can I remove these apps? While we can reach these apps from Google Play, Why did you make these apps non-erasable?
I want to remove phone bloat: sprint wallet, sprint zone, playbooks, sprintID, google+ etc. Seems there is a multitude of pre-loaded apps which when I extend-press to access the option window the only options are Add to Home or Add to Group, Share & Uninstall are not available. I've turned off auto-update and I'm now receiving "notifications" every 3 - 4 days to update. Anyway to remove these or just kill them completely so they no longer attempt to update themselves?
