Jul 13, 2011I have lots of stock apps that I want to get rid of, how can this be done? I go into applications but it seems I cannot remove them.

Jan 29, 2010The Samsung Impact comes with some default wallpapers that cycle through as a slideshow when you lock your phone. Is there a way to delete these? I hate having little flowers and what not when I lock my phone. I tried Samsung Customer Service (e-mail is useless, they don't read the request) and when I called they said they'd have someone contact me back but of course no one ever did (this was over a month ago).

Jul 25, 2011I put a custom ROM on my GS2 for the first time, it involved updating a kernel.
However I really don't like the custom rom I installed and now I want to go back to the stock ROM but with the samsung stuff froze/removed.
I'm not sure where to download the stock ROM's from and I'm not sure if I need to change the kernels again.

Jun 2, 2011Im having an issue with MP3 playback on a stock galaxy s2. Music plays for almost an entire track, then crashes (phone plays notification tone, the signal meter shows a circle with a line through it and the media scanner starts up) Does anyone know how to fix this?

Jan 29, 2013just picked up an S2 from sprint as a replacement for HTC Evo.Great phone all around, however i`m having one issue. HTC Sense UI has an option to preview messages(2lines) and missed calls right(who and time) on lock screen. This is really handy option with small kids around you dont have to unlock your phone.Since S2 is missing that I've downloaded Notify App which works great.However - I cannot turn off stock notifications - they still show up - so at this time I have to clear notifications twice - once in App and once in Notifications Bar. Is there a way of turning off stock notifications (without custom ROM)? On all other phones i had - there was an option to go to Settings Privacy and uncheck the notifications. This is missing on S2 - all i can see under privacy is Reset to Factory.I really like the phone and how smooth it is. At this point i really dont want to do a custom ROM (`ill root it if need it)

3. Same thing with odin....stuck on samsung boot logo
4. To get the phone working and boot to desktop i flash custom kernel like unikernel
5. The problem is i want to use stock kernel i want to flash with smart switch and i want to get updates from samsung like i was before because when i use unikernel and i try to updates phone said your rom is modified...
Is there any chance to bypass samsung logo without flashing custom kernel...
