Lumia Icon :: Screen Rotation Quit Working
Mar 15, 2015On Denim, all of a sudden my screen rotation quit working several days ago. Rebooting the phone fixed it a few times but now its completely out. Yes rotation lock is off and toggling it doesn't make a difference.

BB Curve :: 8350 Quit Email Function, "Blank Entry Not Valid"
Sep 12, 2012My BB quit sending/receiving emails 6 weeks ago. I tried to do the setup again, but error message says "Blank entry not valid" even though the info has been entered (Email & password) I tried to get help from Sprint but as they aren't supporting BB anymore, they just want me to upgrade.I swapped devices this AM (8350 Black for 8350 Red) and the same issue on this device.

Apr 19, 2010Yesterday my cell service dropped has it has been doing every once in a while lately except that this time around I had to reboot the my iphone unlocked 3gs (3.1.3) for it to come back. Today it did it again, I rebooted, the service never came back and my wifi went away.
I used to have the wifi problem before so I uninstalled blacksn0w and it came back. How ever, even after several attempts at reinstalling blacksn0w and several reboots in between, my cell service is gone for good.
Any advice? This has never happened to me before, I am ready to unjailbreak and start all over again, but I would rather not.
Also, every time I install blacksn0w now the phone says " Searching..." and my wifi stops working. It is also worth noting that I have not installed anything new at all on my phone lately.
Anyone have any wisdom for me?

May 1, 2012I called Sprint to change my address and phone number, and my iPhone 4s stopped being able to place or receive calls. I now just get "We could not complete your call.Sprint is clueless, and I don't think it's the phone - wifi works, the phone is fine as far as I can tell, I can call *2, but no other number.

Nokia :: N97 Camera Not Working Blank Screen?
May 25, 2010i have for over 8 months a nokia n97. besides all the other issues that i already gave up on complaining, there's a camera issue that's ultra-annoying and that will lead me to take the phone to a nokia care center. the camera only works around 20% of the times... i press the camera button, or slide the lens windows, and the camera function gets turned on but i can only see a black screen, no image. sometimes rebooting the phone gets the camera to work, but not all the times, and even if it gets working, after some shots the problem reappears. when this issue occurs the video playback also doesn't work (for recorded videos and even for Internet) .i've already tried hard reseting the phone, installing the latest available firmware update (20.0.0.19), and the problem only keeps getting worst.from what i could see from google, there's several people complaining about this (example http://www.zedge.net/forum/t/73008/nokia-n97-camera-problem/ or http://www.Internet.com/watch?v=a8flxtl3bqy ).what i'd like to know is if anyone had this issue, and how did nokia solved it (or not) ?

May 16, 2014Having a weird issue with my screen. Occasionally, (about 5 times in the last 2 weeks) when I grab my phone, the screen does not come on. I can see the multifunction buttons light up, I can swipe the screen and hear the sound for the unlock, and if I tap on the screen it does not light up and screen stays black.
If I hold power, it does not reboot. if I push home it does nothing, but I can hear that the phone is on, if a call comes through I can hear it ring, and can answer from my home button, but the screen stays black.
I can do a battery pull and phone starts fine. It is as if the backlight is not coming on at all at times, or possibly like a proximity sensor is not allowing the phone to recognize that the screen should be off.
Cannot tell if it is a hardware issue or software issue. I have not changed any software since I got it a few weeks back, some software has updated, but this is happening comepletely at random and always when the phone has been locked.
Phone has never been dropped and is in a case and has no screen protector, there is not a mark on the phone at all.
Should I arrange to swap the phone? should I contact my carrier?

BB Bold :: 9700 Blank White Screen But Still Working?
Aug 10, 2011I was recently received a brand new Bold 9700 from an aunt in Canada and I had only been using it in the UK for 3 weeks when the screen suddenly went completely white.I can still receive calls, and I can hear bbms and emails arriving but I can't see anything at all. I've have tried the battery pull many times but it still remains the same. I've been told that RIM usually offers a year's warranty on new products but because it was bought in Canada, none of the networks here in the UK are willing to take it in for repair.

Sep 8, 2011Today, as I got up, I noticed that my blackberry cure 8320 had a white screen. This has never happened before, so I just removed the battery, and put it back in. Something I noticed was that when I inserted the battery, a steady red light appeared for about six seconds, and the screen was completely blank. Thinking that this would go away, I stepped outside, and I got a call. The screen was still black.
I was able to answer the call perfectly fine, but I couldn't interact with it in any other way other than the voice command button. The blackberry I have is unlocked. I ordered it online from BestBuy. It's a T-Mobile blackberry running on AT&T. I've also tried to connect it to my laptop, and it works fine. I've re-installed my OS (4.5), restored it, deleted everything on it, and still no luck.

Jan 1, 2010So I got this phone for Christmas.And I had a few troubles at first but nothing a quick post on these forums didn't clear up. But a few days have gone by and new problems have developed. Any help would be appreciated.
1) The middle button (used for menu and selection) is not working. But when I turn the phone off for about 5 or 6 minutes and then turn it back on it magically works again for about.5 or 6 minutes.What is the problem and how can this be fixed?
2) when I turn the phone off and back on it makes the sounds of it starting up but the screen just stays black.and then I have to let it sit for (go figure) 5 or 6 minutes before the screen shows. please help with this problem as best you can

Apr 16, 2012My iPad 3, iPhone 4S, and both Macs are each set to automatically download purchased content. When I purchase a Universal App on a device other than my iPhone, the iPhone will first ask me for my iTunes password, then indicate Internet usage (the spinning "fan" at the very top of the screen). After the fan is done spinning - this takes about the time needed to download and install an App - there is no icon for the app. It also does not appear if I seach for it. But the App Store app insists it's been downloaded, and if I connect the phone to my Mac, it will appear within iTunes as being on the iPhone, icon and all.
The only ways to rectify this are:
(1) reboot the phone (holding down Home and Sleep buttons) without connecting to the Mac first; or
(2) if I've already connected to iTunes on the Mac, then (a) delete the app from within iTunes and sync (b) reboot the phone (c) reinstall the app from within iTunes on the Mac.
Is this a bug, or a problem with my phone? What steps should I try short of a restore-as-new from iTunes? It has been happeing regularly for some time now. I which I could remember when the trouble started - maybe with the iOS 5.1 update but I'm not sure. Also, there are no problems with iTunes content purchases (music, movies, etc.)

Apr 8, 2015Just got my first Android phone a few months ago; LG G3. Still learning... stumbled onto a web site of things you could use "OK Google" for. One of the sections was about funny things to do with OK Google. One was 'Make me a sandwich'.
So I tried it... "OK Google" I got the response (pulsing mic) and said "Make me a sandwich"; I got a voice response - 'poof, you're a sandwich'.
When I went to show my wife later that day, all that happens is I get a white bar at the top of the screen that displays 'make me a sandwich'.
Now, no matter what I try, "OK Google" will not respond audibly. This is unique to the OK Google functionality. Voice Command, Personal Assistant, Map Quest and other apps provide audible feedback.
