I have an iPhone 4 with the latest software but when I send a text to one of my freinds they only see a blank text. I can still phone my freind perfectly and can receive texts fine. What is going on and why does my freind only receive a blank text?

View 2 Replies View RelatedBeen pretty happy with the ICON. Noticed a problem with sending group messages to Sprint Android users from Verizon ICON. They are getting a blank group message. Tried an Android on ATT and it worked. My friend tried it from is WP on Verizon and he gets the same results. Tried to talk to VZW and "We'll look into this" and now its marked as resolved but the same issue exists.

And orange customer services are near enough useless and have told me to ask here about this problem.Also sometimes the cursor moves and no text is written while typing.I have un-installed the application and re-installed it with no help and performed about 10 hand held wipes.Please can someone give me the solution to this problem before I take a hammer to this phone.

Now I have activated a temporary phone my mom had on hand (Lotus) while I save up for a new iPhone.Is there a list out there in cyber space somewhere that lists all the iPhone numbers because now people who have iPhones send me blank text messages? I have been able to isolate this down to only happening when they send me an "iMessage" but I don`t understand why I keep getting them? Even people I had never texted with before losing my phone are sending me these blank messages. How do I fix this?

Under messaging under settings, imessage is on..and it shows my phone number under recieve at....but when i text someone that has a iphone it goes thru as a imessage, when i text my boyfriend who also has iphone..it goes to regular texting...but when he replies back to me it goes imessage but with his apple id. How can i fix it to where only his phone number is imessage? is it his settings on his phone or mine? Under contacts i have to have two of him in my phone one for texting and the other for making a phone call.

I have verizon. And just recieved a iphone4s for my birthday. If I send a text message to someone who doesn't have a iphone, I guess, when they recieve the message on thier phone it shows up atleast three times. It's quite annoying for people I text daily. I'm a new iPhone user as of the iP4 launch so this is probably a beaten question but the search I did only came up with very old results and failed to ask the second part of my question: If the answer is still no, what if you are quick enough to go into edit mode and delete the text before it finishes sending? Would that cancel it?

My boyfriend and I text every day and we both have iPhone 4's So it sends as iMessage. Ever since last night our texts have been sending as text message rather than iMessage and we cant figure out why. Were guessing it's on his end since I can text other people on iMessage. yesterday his keyboard wouldn't come up so he turned it off and back on and shortly after that our messages would only be sent as text. We've checked to make sure iMessage is on and that our 3G is up and running . Would doing a restart (ie. Holding power and home) do anything?
