Jul 28, 2014I am on official 8.1 and just noticed today that my browser will not rotate into landscape mode. Actually it will rotate the first time it's used after restarting the phone but any time I use it after that it is stuck in portrait mode. This seems to be new as of today but not sure.

Apr 5, 2012i was charging my phone via usb through my laptop and it suddenly went into white/grey screen with weird screen and so i pressed the home + power and went into recovery mode (itunes + usb logo). i tried to restore it and i keep on getting error 1600. after a few hours, the screen just went black and whenever i press home + power button, nothing happens. i went to a repair shop and a guy "shocked" the battery and there it went back to recovery mode. i tried to restore it again on dfu mode and still getting error 1600.
if i try it on restore mode, i will get error 21. what i did is i plug in the device, put it on recovery mode and then put it in dfu then restore and still error 1600 ---- googleed and Internetd so,me videos until i saw a video to change the host file and downloaded it and then boom --- it was fixed! while i was fixing my newly repaired iphone 4 version 5.1 -- all of a sudden it went to restarted then went into recovery mode. after a few hours again, it went to dfu mode and i went to the repair shop to shock the battery but that didn't work until now. i can't get my phone to restore mode even if i press the home + power button. stuck on dfu mode.i have a saved shsh for 5.0.1 and 5.1 -- so i built a custom firmware with snowbreeze and ifaith but i keep on getting error 3014, 1600, 1601, 1608 on restoring it.

Jul 25, 2012For some reason SMS sending is stuck on the phone: the related icon is animating at the top of the screen and I can't send another SMS because one is already being sent.After 30 minutes or so I turned off the device but after the reboot it continued where it left off.

May 23, 2012Under messaging under settings, imessage is on..and it shows my phone number under recieve at....but when i text someone that has a iphone it goes thru as a imessage, when i text my boyfriend who also has iphone..it goes to regular texting...but when he replies back to me it goes imessage but with his apple id. How can i fix it to where only his phone number is imessage? is it his settings on his phone or mine? Under contacts i have to have two of him in my phone one for texting and the other for making a phone call.

If I send a text message to someone who doesn't have a iphone, I guess, when they recieve the message on thier phone it shows up atleast three times. It's quite annoying for people I text daily. Mar 12, 2012My daughter's iphone 4 is stuck in headphone mode. we can hear her ringtone, but her text tone, email tone, any alert tone is unable to be heard. Mar 19, 2012When loading iTunes this morning an update that I had been putting off popped up and I figured since I was going to be in the house for a while I'd finally do it. An error took place that I foolishly ignored and made no note of.
My iPhone is now stuck in Recovery mode (I assume so anyway, after having googles my problem for hours), iTunes tells me I need to restore the phone and so I click to allow it to. It then gets to the "Preparing iPhone for restore" and just sits there, doing nothing.

May 7, 2012After my daughter dropped my phone on the floor (surprisingly the screen didn't crack), the screen went black and I could not turn the phone back on. This was not the first time that this happened to me and I fixed it by plugging it in to my car charger. I tried that this time and it did come back on but the place where my signal strength bars should be said 'searching'. After a short while, a message came up saying that my phone needed to be restored and to connect it to iTunes.
My phone would not come on unless it was plugged into a charger, other than that the screen was black (and still does that). The apple screen will show and then the usb cord connecting to iTunes symbol comes up and it will go passed that screen.
I connected to iTunes, and found out that my phone was in recovery mode and needed to be restored. I tried to restore several times and the same thing happens. iTunes will begin the process (extracting files first) after that part is complete and iTunes starts the next step of preparing the phone for restoring, my phone will go black as if it shut off and then the apple screen comes on and then the usb cord connecting to iTunes shows up and then iTunes delivers the error21 code. I've tried pressing the home button and lock button at the same time for seconds and then holding the home button blah blah but it does me no good because I can't get my phone to do anything unless its connected to a charger or the computer.

May 16, 2012My phone has been stuck for two weeks. I am not covered by Apple therefore they won't do anything, but sell me a brand new phone. If I could afford one, I would bypass them and just upgrade. Unfortunately, I am not capable at this time. I have tried everything provided by the "help" on iTunes.
