My phone appears to be sending blank text messages to friends. I have no record of the 'sent' text on my phone. It has happened on more than one occasion. Rebooting does not seem to be a solution. The recipients also have an iPhone.

View 5 Replies View RelatedBeen pretty happy with the ICON. Noticed a problem with sending group messages to Sprint Android users from Verizon ICON. They are getting a blank group message. Tried an Android on ATT and it worked. My friend tried it from is WP on Verizon and he gets the same results. Tried to talk to VZW and "We'll look into this" and now its marked as resolved but the same issue exists.

I have an iPhone 4 with the latest software but when I send a text to one of my freinds they only see a blank text. I can still phone my freind perfectly and can receive texts fine. What is going on and why does my freind only receive a blank text?

Is this true, or do I just have a problem? I notice my AT&T friends can send me pictures, but when my Verizon friends send me pics, nothing comes through but the text? Do I need to set something up special? Or is this reality?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have not had any trouble sending text just receiving them. I have only been notified by one person using an android that they had sent a text which I did not receive. All other text issues have been sent from iphones which my children have. I contacted Straight Talk which is my carrier and they told me that if I could send a text to myself and receive it then it was not my phone. I had a Samsung Proclaim previously and did not have any trouble. I have sent a text to myself as Straight Talk suggested and I received it fine. Both phones were/or are on the Straight Talk plan using verizon towers.

I disabled iMessage before I switched, had AT&T update the system and I still can't receive group messages and images from other iPhone users.

I recently switched from an iphone 4 to an LG G3 and have been unable to consistently receive group messages from iphone users. Sometimes messages will come through, but about 95% of the time I do not receive them; however, the people in my group do receive my messages. I am aware that this is a common issue among Android users, and I have read about it extensively online for weeks now, but I still have not come up with a solution. I have tried using multiple different messaging apps including the default messaging app, chomp sms, textra, hangouts, etc. I have also turned off imessages on my old phone, typed in the code for Apples "unsubscribe" from imessage thing, and texted STOP to the number to disable imessages.
I am running the latest version of Android. I also replaced my old SIM but still no luck. MMS group message settings are all enabled on my phone too. I didn't see a post about this in regards to the LG G3 specifically so I decided to make one. I have heard suggestions of people saying to tell your iphone friends to adjust settings on their phones, but I wanted to find a solution without having to tell all of my friends to mess with their settings to accommodate me. I absolutely love everything about my new android phone after making the switch from Apple, but this one problem is seemingly large that I hope it doesn't force me to go back to an iphone.
I am not able to reply to any iMessages or start a conversation with ONLY one of my contacts who is using the iPod iOS 5 system... However I am able to receive messages from him. I have tried everything from restoring my phone multiple times to deleting and re creating a new iCloud account ... Is there something that I'm missing?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI use H20 wireless. I have an iPhone 5c that was previously an AT&T phone. Now the last iPhone I had I bought through H20 and had this same issue. I simply cannot send picture messages to non iPhone users. I do not want to jailbreak my phone and it is what H20 offered to do for me. I was told I could unlock my phone but after reading up on it - it looks like I still might not be able to send pics to non iPhone users. Yes I have tried turning off the mms thing and no it does not work. I have also tried sending something over wifi and still nothing.Â

About a week ago, my iPhone 5S started acting very strange. Whenever I go into my "Messages" app, it either shows up as a blank white page or shows previous messages but the screen freezes on the page. Sometimes I am able to text but then it starts freezing again. I am unable to call anyone. My battery is drastically draining. My phone just decides to freeze randomly and will turn off by itself. When double clicking the home button to "close" apps, my phone freezes. I have tried to update to the new IOS 8.1.2, but whenever I choose the "agree" option, my phone doesn't do anything.

On the iphone 4 why do i get blank contact names with no messages in my message app? I didn't try and text them, the name just appears with no message and no typing a message bubble.

I'm using nokia 5800 model. In that two messages got failed while sending and stored in Outbox. I tried to delete those two messages. But the status of those two msgs has been changed to 'Deferred' and are not getting deleted. I restarted the mobile, but again its there in the Outbox. I tried PC Suite to delete those messages. But those messages are not getting listed in the PC Suite. Kindly Suggest some solution for this problem
View 15 Replies View Related1) When sending text messages the messages go through but some remain in the outbox. They are actually sent, and not waiting for resend. The only option when selecting them is to delete, which removes them from the conversation threads. It doesn't seem to be related to service, but to whether I am using the phone for any other purpose at the time.
2) When connected to a car BT system, shut off car, BT seems to go into a black hole. You can't reconnect, can't make a call (well, it makes a call, but you can't hear anything; can't play music, etc.). The only solution is reboot. This happens with multiple systems in different brands of auto, so not limited to one brnad.
one Message/iMessage conversation I have on my iPhone... So here is the deal. I have sent a few iMessages to a person but some of them have been sent as SMS text messages, probably because of bad network. Anyway, all of them have been read (that is what the read receipts account) and yet the line on the top of the screen says 'Sending...' ! But there is nothing to send anymore!
I've already tried quitting the app and turning my phone off/on and since I would like to keep that conversation, I'm not really keen on deleating it.

I have an iPhone 4S and am having problems with the text messaging. Whenever I text someone who does not have an iPhone the message will send in two separate messages.. even if the length of the message is under the 160 character limit. The message will send everything except the last word, then send the last word in another separate message. For example, if i sent something like, "hello how was your day today? mine was great thank you for asking".. it would send, "hello how was your day today? mine was great thank you for" in one message then send another message with just the word "asking". I've gone to the Apple Store & they were NO help & said it was a network problem. I then went to the Sprint store & they said it was not a network problem either. I reset the phone numerous times, then eventually Sprint ordered me a new one which is STILL having the same problem.

My husband carried both our phones to be serviced.. It worked for a few hours and stopped again. We found other ways to send pictures through apps but not everyone uses these apps. Sending pictures only works through imessages but then again not everyone on my contact list has it. Anyone got any ideas or fixes to the problem?

My phone has been working perfectly fine all week, under the same settings. I'm connected to wifi as I'm traveling internationally. I've been using iMessage perfectly fine until just a few moments ago. Messages are no longer being sent/delivered. I tried a soft reset and a restart of my phone, but that hasn't worked. I turned off iMessage and tried turning it back on, now it just says "waiting for activation".
