Feb 25, 2010I've had this problem for about 4 months. I was working one day when out of nowhere my phone just restarted by itself. Turned phone back on and everything was ok except the screen wont turn off regardless of the time out option I have set which is at 1 minute. I tried everything from restoring and brightness control. Again my phone is unlocked at 3.0. Also when I restored my phone before I synced it to ITunes it worked fine. But after it synced with the backup it stopped working again.

May 4, 2012My iPhone 4S screen turned blue then shut off. it wouldn't turn back on but I felt hot to touch. it turned on about 2 hours at 8:00 A.M. and but it won't receive signal. it is now 6:31 P.M. and still no change. I get signal for a short time when it it connected to the wall charger but not when it's unplugged. is this a battery issue or antenna issue?

I did the jailbreak earlier. Only installed SBSettings and did an update in Cydia that it said was available. That's it.I did also have AdMob ads in Settings for some reason so obviously something else got installed on there but how/when?

May 13, 2012All of a sudden Twitter has stopped working on my phone. Whenever I click on the app twitter loads to blank white screen with a blue bar acoss the top. Also when I try to go into the twitter settings menu it freezes and I have to go back to the home screen and end the settngs process before I can use it again.

Jan 10, 2010Woke up this morning and hit the home button on my iPhone, only to have the screen flicker white and then turn off. I tried pressing the home and sleep buttons, with no luck. In the fist five minutes, the screen flickered white 3 times but then proceeded to a dark screen and has not turned on since.
I have attempted soft and hard resets like some other users, but the screen is still blank. I even put the phone into recovery mode and attempted to get it running with iTunes. I re-installed 3.1.2, but no luck. The sleep button is pretty iffy, and requires you to hold it down in certain positions to get it to work, so it has been hit or miss to get the phone into recovery mode.
Two weeks ago, I reformatted the phone, updated to 3.1.2, jailbroke and unlocked the phone with blackra1n, with no problems in functionality.I also tried re-installing from a backup. I get vibration notifications in conjunctions with emails (since I see them on my laptop at the same time as the vibration), so I know there is some functionality, I just can't see anything. There is no passcode on the phone either.
My guess is the LCD went out since resets and recoveries have not been able to bring anything back on the screen. I'm about to order a new screen, I just wanted to confirm that I'm taking the proper next step.

Apr 10, 2012I was just texting on my phone and all of a sudden the screen went blank, When I tried to turn it back on the apple logo came up for like a minute and then it turned off again, it did this one more time and then wouldn't turn on at all. It was on 80% battery, but it left it on charge over night and when I won't up still nothing?. It didn't go near any water or I didn't drop it or anything. I've tried the reset buttons about 6000 times and when I plug it into itunes it doesn't do anything at all and it doesn't even go into the recovery mode?
