My email suddenly has stopped being forwarded to my phone, a feature I think known as data push. In settings, I see that data push is not supported for my email account but I can't understand what happened because all my emails have been forwarding to my phone for a year and then suddenly stopped.

I also get this error when I try to amend the settings in Accounts: "The application Email authenticator (process com.motorola.provider.authenticator) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
I've tried again and I still get an error. I've tried rebooting and I still get an error. Yahoo and Gmail are fine.
My Droid 4 suddenly stopped receiving emails. I'm only able to receive email from both gmail accounts by hitting refresh under settings.

I've switched the auto rotate in settings on and off several times, pulled the battery, even installed an auto rotate switch app...nothing. It's really tough to read my news feeds when I can't rotate and zoom.

View 8 Replies View RelatedEvery time I connect my phone to the original USB cable the Motocast USB program starts running and then it says please wait while Motocast USB loads your content, and finally the MML has stopped working window pops up with the only option to close the program. I have uninstalled the program and re-installed a new version of it, but that doesn't seem to work. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I have downloaded a patch that I replaced, even though when I tried to replace it the computer told me I required administrator authorization. However when I proceeded with this action it seems to have replaced the old one with the new one.I have no idea what to do, nor know where to find the problem in writing to post somewhere. My computer knowledge is very limited.

It shows the network SSID and signal strength, and I've entered and saved the WEP password, but it just won't connect. I have powered off the phone, and the router, and all my other devices are working, but the Razr MAXX just won't connect.
I have changed nothing since last night when it was working fine,
My Razr's calendar stopped syncing to my gmail calendars. Gmail account settings all say to sync everything. The only calendar offered for a new appointment is "phone storage. Only calendar that shows in Calendar settings is "phone storage".

(no paperclip symbol). I receive all other attachments fine when the email is not digitally signed.Using Verizon Wireless as carrier.if the signed email was sent to my Gmail account all attachments appear as normal.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI've had my Blackberry Bold through T-Mobile for over a year and never had problems with the e-mail service. It is set up with my Yahoo account and I have always been able to send and receive email from my phone just fine. Just in the last 24 hours, though, my service stopped working. I cannot send any emails, it errors with that blasted red X, and I cannot receive any new emails even though my email account in itself works -- I send emails from my work account to my Yahoo account on the computer, and I can see the emails are coming in when I check my email on the computer but nothing is registering on my phone.
I've Googled my way through various troubleshooting tips, I've shut the device off and back on, I've removed the battery and SIM card and put it back again, I've tried to go to Manage Internet Email but it says it cannot connect. I've gone to Blackberry Internet Service on the T-Mobile website and it does not show that I have a e-mail account configured, even though I've been using email on my phone the entire time. I try to set up my email there on the website and it says, lo and behold, that that email is already registered on my device! There is nothing wrong with my network connection on the phone, I have full 3G signal or EDGE signal (depending on what part of the room I'm in here at work). I have not changed any settings on my phone at all and my email just stopped working out of nowhere.
when I got update I had to do hard reset due to phone acting up. Now I can't set up my corporate email. Advises it failed to load. So you have to set it up before update and hope you never have to do a hard reset. Also noticed I have more data drop outs and data is very slow.

I have the email set to save a copy of the email on the server. some reason the phone keeps going back and grabbing email that I've all ready viewed several days ago. Woke up yesterday and noticed it was no longer downloading new email and would just time out trying to connect. Tried removing and reinstalling the account - no luck, can't connect with the usual settings. Also tried creating the account with the default Android email and MailDroid and they also won't work. My provider swears that everything is working on their end and that I'm using the right settings.

Other than deleting the account and re-doing it or restoring the phone, because those two dont work.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI got a RAZR a couple of weeks ago for my wife, and I made a mistake setting it up. I setup the email app instead of the gmail app. Now all the emails are going only to the phone, so unless the laptop is left on all the time (we use google apps sync to outlook), it never gets any emails.
How do I get these emails back to gmail? Can I mass forward these emails back out somehow? I can forward one at a time, and I can save to the sd messaging folder one at a time.
I have 2 Yahoo and 1 Gmail account and I am getting certification errors.I try to re-input my password but get "Invalid Credentials".I try to remove the accounts, but I get "Invalid Credentials" and can't delete the accounts.
