I have a problem when replying to text messages. Even thought I have the area code entered in the contact the message comes back that it can't be sent and shows no area code. I don't want to have to reset to factory settings.
View 6 Repliesi have a blank spot on my screen which stops me bing able to use some of my apps or text with the virtual on screen keyboard. I cannot use my slide out keyboard as when i press letters they randomly enter other letters then send automatically.
View 1 Replies View RelatedBold 9900, have had for a few weeks now, noticed something new when replying to text messages, if someone sends a text to me & others, when I reply it is always to all the people the original text was sent to. My old 9000 had the option come up of reply or reply to all, this new 9900 only shows replu but it replies to all. I have looked everywhere for a setting to change this but have not been able to find anything. how to change this or is it just something new that can't be changed on this new phone?
View 5 Replies View RelatedWell today I had my first couple of messages from a couple of mates of mine, and I am completely confused here just how to reply to them and how you know they have been sent.The manual for the Blackberry Curve 9320 is totally wrong with how it describes to do this, and the regular features that are on every other mobile I have had such as click on something and hit the word reply does not exist on this phone from what I can see.hen I read the persons text message there is a bar underneath for you to type in, and it says press R to reply. I did this and typed something out, and as you do went and pressed the send button. But that brings up a box asking me if I want to call the person. So I thought well lets press the return key on the Qwerty Pad. So I did that, and I have no idea if its sent as I cannot find anywhere on the phone that tells you your message is sent.

Then when I click the send button, it displays the "Sending Message" screen for about the same time, before finally sending the message.The phone was recently wiped by Nokia Care Centre because of a problem with text messages rebooting the phone. I don't need it all the time but it would be useful when making working calls when on the road so that they don't have my personal cell # and nobody ever answers " unknown" so *67 isnt the key.
I also am not really interested in spoofing my number with a fake one or creating a Google voice (or similar account) and then having two phone #'s to worry about.

I am using the Blackberry Storm, I believe the 9530 (its the first gen). Anyway, just recently my text messages only stay for a couple of days and then they delete themselves or simpley disappear.
There have been numerous cases where I need the information someone sent me in those messages, but I can't seem to find them. Is there something wrong with how the phone is set up? Is this a memory thing? Is there a way to get those messages back, are they stored somewhere?

I also in 'phone', options, call logs and lists, changed 'Show These Call Log Types in Message List' to None & it still only shows Missed Call as the title & shows the list. The thing is that I had a $30/month prepaid plan which is not available as a postpaid plan. But no one told me. They just said that I was eligible for a postpaid plan after 18 months. Of course, I jumped right back when they wanted to charge me $50/month. So that is what caused the texting trouble.

The Icon for text messages is not showing them. When I point to it I get "setup". The ONLY way I've been able to find my text messages is to go to "search", type in "tex" (no more because it mis directs me) then the icon with all the messages is there. I tried the BB button and do NOT get an option to move the folder. The ONLY way I've been able to find it is to use the specific search method as stated above. I've been working on the problem for 2 hours now since a friend told me via Facebook that she had sent me a text.

I tried turning it on and of, charging it for a long period of time, taking the battery in and out but nothing seems to be working. However the keyboard lights up, the phone makes a sound whenever the charger is taken out, the volume keys make a noise, and just when I put it to charge using my Wii it made a different noise. I have already contacted Motorola and Orange and they have told me to reset it?

For every text I am being charged $0.20 and it is getting annyoing since this happens every 5 minutes. I have gone to the settings and did a factory default but this still happens! This leads me to beleive that there is something hidden on the phone that came from the manufacture that is causing this the happen.
