Just recently when I click reply for a text message it takes between 10-30 seconds to start a new message. Then when I click the send button, it displays the "Sending Message" screen for about the same time, before finally sending the message. The phone was recently wiped by Nokia Care Centre because of a problem with text messages rebooting the phone. This issue is now occuring as well, but mostly at night?Any ideas as to what I can do to fix this? It has firmware 12.0.110 installed.
Bold 9900, have had for a few weeks now, noticed something new when replying to text messages, if someone sends a text to me & others, when I reply it is always to all the people the original text was sent to. My old 9000 had the option come up of reply or reply to all, this new 9900 only shows replu but it replies to all. I have looked everywhere for a setting to change this but have not been able to find anything. how to change this or is it just something new that can't be changed on this new phone?
Well today I had my first couple of messages from a couple of mates of mine, and I am completely confused here just how to reply to them and how you know they have been sent. The manual for the Blackberry Curve 9320 is totally wrong with how it describes to do this, and the regular features that are on every other mobile I have had such as click on something and hit the word reply does not exist on this phone from what I can see.hen I read the persons text message there is a bar underneath for you to type in, and it says press R to reply. I did this and typed something out, and as you do went and pressed the send button. But that brings up a box asking me if I want to call the person. So I thought well lets press the return key on the Qwerty Pad. So I did that, and I have no idea if its sent as I cannot find anywhere on the phone that tells you your message is sent.
I have a problem when replying to text messages. Even thought I have the area code entered in the contact the message comes back that it can't be sent and shows no area code. I don't want to have to reset to factory settings.
I received my N86 via courier yesterday, and did the usual setup stuff that I was prompted to do. For some reason, my phone keeps on saying "sending text message" at random intervals. I check the outbox, and nothing is there! This has been ongoing since I turned it on.
I have tried a soft and hard reset, and I have just noticed that there is a firmware upgrade available. I am in the process of charging my battery.
My 5800 randomly stopped sending text messages about 2 days ago. It has problems sending texts for a few hours before but would send them on the second or third try but now refuses to send no matter how many times I try. I'm able to do everything else (recieve and send calls, recieve texts and access the internet) I also put my sim card in my old phone and it can send texts so it must be my phone.
After two or three charges my new (up to date) Lumia 900 stops sending/receiving text messages. The map app also appears black at every zoom level. However LTE signal is fine, I can receive phone calls, and use data to search for near-by restaraunts and overlay results over the black tileless map. There is no visible indication that the phone is no longer sending/receiving txt messages.. other than an angry girlfriend.Once in a while I open up the map app to see if its loading tiles. If not, I reboot the phone and everything returns to normal for a few days, and then problem comes back. It has been this way since I bought the phone three weeks ago.
1) When sending text messages the messages go through but some remain in the outbox. They are actually sent, and not waiting for resend. The only option when selecting them is to delete, which removes them from the conversation threads. It doesn't seem to be related to service, but to whether I am using the phone for any other purpose at the time.
2) When connected to a car BT system, shut off car, BT seems to go into a black hole. You can't reconnect, can't make a call (well, it makes a call, but you can't hear anything; can't play music, etc.). The only solution is reboot. This happens with multiple systems in different brands of auto, so not limited to one brnad.
I'm having trouble with my text messages, using the stock Sense app. It seems that it is getting progressively slower as well. Whenever I touch the "To" field to add an addressee it takes a good 2 or 3 seconds for options to come up. Then after I press send, it can take another 2 or 3 seconds for the text to actually be sent. It is quite annoying given the horsepower under the hood and especially when I'm trying to send messages to different people rather quickly. I shouldn't have to wait on the app...there shouldn't be delays in getting a simple text message out.
For the last couple of weeks my HTC one has had to be rebooted occasionally when I have tried to send a text message, I have noticed a pending icon next to the message when checking for a reply. As soon as I have rebooted the phone the message is sent.
I purchased an unlocked C3 from Amazon.com for a Christmas present and up until last week, had no problems with it. Then it stopped sending text messages. I called AT&T and they said they can't do anything since they didn't sell the phone to me.
on my screen next to the name of contact and the text, the symol is a red clock stating that my message hasn't been sent. I know my contacts aren't recieveing the messages and I have no clue how to get my phone to send my txt messages
My xperia x10 has started to send text messages that I didn't write to one of my contacts!!!! All the messages are the same "Ppppp" Yesterday they all had a scrolling circle beside them and message details said unable to send sender unknown.I deleted them but they kept coming back at least a dozen of them at at random times. Today they are being sent. By each message there is a envelope with a clock icon. This is happening while the phone is not being used by anyone and is sitting on a table, so its not as if it is being touched by anything in my handbag or pocket.I was using the Handcent App but it was also happening in the installed messaging software. I have uninstalled Handcent and am using the supplied messaging programme. Also getting a lot of force closing messages when I try to send a genuine text.
I successfully updated to the official Vodafone release using SEUS, loving the update so far but I've come across a problem with text messages.
Every couple of text messages they won't send and instead I get the message cannot be sent error. Trying repeated times has the same results then all of a sudden it will randomly work.
It can't be down to bad signal, last time the error came up I had full 'H' signal. I also tried Handcent to see if using an app would make any difference but it didnt. Are there any known bugs that sound like this
I set up my iphone 4s yesterday - I'm on T Mobile (uk). When trying to send or reply to text messages they just will not send no matter what I do, even in reply to someone who has sent me a message.
I have verizon. And just recieved a iphone4s for my birthday. If I send a text message to someone who doesn't have a iphone, I guess, when they recieve the message on thier phone it shows up atleast three times. It's quite annoying for people I text daily. I was wondering if I could fix this somehow? Is this my phone or is this verizon?
the text messages seem to be frozen with the little blue circle working and just giving me the message "sending"..i haven't had this problem with other messages, only a few. the messages are not very long at all and no pictures or anything, just text messages.
How to get the HTC one to stop sending old texts messages after a reboot? If my phone dies, is updated, or I need to turn it off, when I turn it back on it will send some really old texts and a lot of them. Also, Verizon claims it's an HTC problem and HTC said to call Verizon. I've tried everything from system restore to deleting entire threads. It's a bunch of crap that neither company has an answer by now.
Why in iMessage my phone keeps sent a regular text message and not an iMessage? Also my keypad is very delayed When typing? Why is it not sending and delaying.
Since midday yesterday I have been able to send SMS (and recipient is receiving them) however I can not receive anyones SMS to me. I have updated the Blackberry software and have rebooted several times since.
