Nov 26, 2012the phone encrypted some files in the default Blackberry folder on the external Media Card with .rem extension (mostly .jpg files). I had to wipe the phone and since then I cannot open those files - even with setting from reloaded backup file (the backup did not offer the saving of Media Card content). how can I get those file back? The encryption of the Media Card is On (default company setting) but the "Include Media Files" is Off and the encryption Mode is "Device Key".

Oct 30, 2010I have a BB Curve 8530 Smartphone (v5.0.0.654) and I cannot download or play anything with a mp3 extension other than those items that were installed on the phone when I first got it or those that I downloaded before my first phone update. While trying to play an audio or video item with mp3 extension, I always get the message "an error occurred while attempting to play...". This usually happens after about a minute or two. My downloads simply fail. I'm confused because everything worked fine until that first update. I can still download and play anything with a .m3u extension.

We have been trying for 3 days to restore her iphone 4S through itunes 10.6 (Windows). However, the download always times out and we lose DSL connection for a minute or so. I have also tried to d/l 5.0.1 and 5.0 from websites offering direct links to appldnld.apple.com and the same thing happens everytime. Usually at about 9%. I lose internet my ADLS2+ connection every single time I try to download any apple software through itunes or via direct links through multiple browsers.

It should pause at the extension and wait to dial it until i click to do so. My older Blackberry had no issue performing this task. Seems like a major programming oversite on Apple's end.

By doing so, there is an arrow downloading shown on my XOOM, but it failed afterward. I let it ran for a while and then it failed. I am not be able to download anything from any web sites.
Is there any way to get correct this problem? The work around that I did was to downloading the file to my PC (using Chrome browser), and then moved it to XOOM.

Jul 3, 2010I've downloaded the trial version of Beejive and want to install it. I am using OS 4.6.1.231 and am using the latest Blackberry Desktop program (v5.0.1). The instructions to install Beejive say to connect my BB to my comp and choose the application loader to add Beejive. I then "Browse" to the alx file and click on it.Fine. I do all that and then click on "next." I then see that I will I be reinstalling all the programs that have check marks by them. I decide I just want to install Beejive only so I go back and untick the apps I want to leave alone but there is only "remove" or "install" and that unticking one would result in its removal. Is installing Beejive through BB Desktop the only way to get it to work? Is there no way to go to get a jad file and download that for an automated install?
