Many of the numbers that I call since switching jobs have extensions. Can they be added to the phone number listing as shown when making a call? Currently, I have been adding the 'notes' field to the contact lists when someone or a particular department needs to be accessed. I find it confusing sometimes and would like it displayed even though it may not dial it. Can it be displayed?

When calling somewhere and you need to press a 1,2,3 etc. for an extension. Mine is not working. Do you need to have to have keypad tones activated in settings for this? Any other way to do it so not to have the sound audible?

When Oren calls I see only "Oren 111" or "Oren 222" etc. I want to see "Oren Home 111" or "Oren Tomer 333".

I played a lot with the settings, tried re-improting the numbers from google, tested my contacts on an Asus phone(there it worked) etc - nothing works on mine.

When using the phone function on any iPhone, sometimes you need to edit the phone number that you have just typed (ex. typed 0123456789 and wanted to add or erase a digit from the center or beginning) how could edit it?? considering that I do not want to save the number.Â

I have changed the phone number from the one supplied to my previous number to avoid having to notify all my cotacts of a new number. I am using a Blackberry, and very simply can show on the homescreen each separate email account, with a red star when at least one email arrives in the mailbox. It also shows at the top how many emails are new, overall. I'm not so concerned about "at a glance" seeing how many, but it's a god-send seeing (without pressing anything) where the emails have gone: work private hotmail. I know on the iPhone you go into Mail, and there you see your list of accounts, or 'All Emails', but that means I have to click Mail to do that. Is there a way (if like me you are email-busy) to see from the homescreen, a square icon for each account, and it show some form of identification that it has new mail it in?

If I receive an email or appointment with a phone number in the format of 123-456-7890 x123, it will allow me to click it to dial but then just dials all the numbers. It should pause at the extension and wait to dial it until i click to do so. My older Blackberry had no issue performing this task. Seems like a major programming oversite on Apple's end.

But the display of numbers I'm dialing is so tiny I didn't see them - had to hand to my son in frustration because I didn't think it was dialing at all. I sync contacts with a corporate Exchange / Outlook account. I can manage contacts on the phone or PC. Any contact who has say a business, home or mobile number and a fax number specified, if I go to the dialer, start typing their name, it does show the contact and a number (no indication of type such as fax or cell) so I tap that choice. Sadly, no, I can't just tell from looking at the number if it is fax or not. The phone dials the fax # which of course is incredibly annoying to my ear and that this dumb phone doesn't know not to try a fax number as the first choice for any contact who has a fax number.
I know I can set the default number per contact but I have hundreds of contacts and to go through each one to see if they have a fax and change it would really suck. Is there seriously no way to tell the phone not to use fax as first choice by default?

The company has recently presented us with Nokia E71 phones.How do you display your own number on your phone.Not how do you find it but display it on the screen so that it is always there.I have seen ideas like create a new profile and call it your number...or place it in contacts either as first number or own number.It would be nice to have it permanently displayed on the home screen or a one touch key that popped it onto the screen when required.God knows the number of time I've been asked my mobile (and there is a couple of them) and can't remember it.
So you need to fish the phone out unlock and trawl around looking for it.Ideal solution would be pop phone out press one key and number is present.Even if there is a piece of software which will allow this or creation of a screensaver with the number on it would be preferable to fishing around looking for the number.I mean with all the technology available to us in mobile phones today you think there would be a simple option to display own number.

When will it be possible to extend the memory of the equipment, so they can store more data, including text messaging / picture. Or for when an advance, for the Companion PC so we can access our text messages / picture on our computer via data cable, examine the nokia pc suite because it has these functions available.
