When calling somewhere and you need to press a 1,2,3 etc. for an extension. Mine is not working. Do you need to have to have keypad tones activated in settings for this? Any other way to do it so not to have the sound audible?

Currently, I have been adding the 'notes' field to the contact lists when someone or a particular department needs to be accessed. I find it confusing sometimes and would like it displayed even though it may not dial it. Can it be displayed?

I have a Verizon S6 on T Mobile, everything works fine except when I am calling a company that uses number prompts to direct your call (press 1 for this or 2 for that) it doesn't recognize that I have pressed a number. Is there a setting or something that I can adjust or is it a glitch with my verizon phone on TMO?

View 1 Replies View RelatedHas anyone else had any problems with the Messager II / R560 as far as the keypad is concerned? My keypad has become iffy when I press certain keys. It happens mostly with the "T" key. Sometimes I'll press it and it won't register. Sometimes I'll press it and it won't register but then double the "T" the next time I hit it. It'll do this on some other keys around the "T" but mostly the T. I'm thinking it's a warranty issue. This started about a 1.5 months in to using it. I just wanted to get a feel for anyone else having this problem. I'm on Cricket...but I assume this is a problem with the MetroPCS version, too.

View 4 Replies View Relatedi have a n95 8gb, which i'm using as a modem to connect to the internet. actually i'm using it right now. he problem is, that when i add a usb extension cable (3m) to extend the cable that came with the phone, the internet connection breaks after a (short) while. especially when downloading large amounts of data, such as when viewing Internet videos. it works for a while, then stops. if i disconnect and reconnect, it works again. for a while.
i am using windows 7 64bit, home premium edition. i have installed the latest drivers and pc suite. the latest ovi suite as well, but i'm not using it and it is not running. i doubt it is a software problem since the problem only seems to occur when i add an extension cable. the reason i add the cable is that i get a much better signal a few metres away from my computer, and thus much higher internet speed. could it be that the higher speed is a problem? that is the only non-hardware problem i can seem to think of at the moment............
My S5 is from EE, and has a big cartoony picture of whoever you're calling taking up most of the screen, plus a couple of buttons.
I'm not sure how to change this- none of the options are obvious. How can I access the keypad during a voice call?

I have a massive delay when I press a number to call someone.
I try different apk but have the same problem.
I am having trouble to dial any phone number. When I press the dial symbol, immediately it returns the error message "contacts stopped" - "o Contatos parou - in Portuguese".
I already tried to clean the cache and data of all related apps, tried hard reset, and still the same error. What could be possibly wrong? The errors started after I dialed a huge telephone number (XX XX xxx xxx xxx xxx) 16 numbers total. Could it be related to this?
Anybody know where I can get a replacement qwerty keypad for my 9700 with the red-numbers like the OEM and Rogers 9000 Bolds have? I loved it on my blacked out Bold...and really don't like the all white AT&T keypad. I've looked at Cnn.cn and TrueSupplier...and neither one of those sources have them.

Loving my new S6, battery ok for me, thought lack of SD slot would bother me but not actually missing it even though only using 32GB model. Screen is awesome along with the camera, can leave my slr at home now and use the S6 for casual photos... One thing I would love to see Samsung implement is in the phone logs, I would love to see all calls from the same number grouped and the time and date of the call alongside. Its a little annoying when a umber has called you multiple times in one day and there is a logged separate entry for each call. That is my only improvement for me.

So then I tried changing it to my actual phone number, and now it won't let me. Everyone I try, it just says voicemail number has been changed, then I hit ok, but nothing actually changed. I reseted password for Apple ID 1
after password reset, phone 1 and phone 2 can not send iMessage to each other's phone numbers (goes as text message). Can send iMessage it to each others email address and all other phone numbers/email addressesÂ
SOLUTIONS TRIED
- reactive iMessage with toggle switch
- network settings reset
- deleting our all old messages
- restart phone at various steps aboveÂ
OBSERVATIONS
I do see phone number under Settings | Messages | Send & Receive | YOU CAN BE REACHED.... on both phones selected,
however, it is grayed out unlike email addresses below

View 2 Replies View RelatedI can't seem to find a way to change the default behavior of the Contacts app to search only for contacts that have a phone number.
My contacts are synchronized with my Google account and since Google saves all used emails as contacts (in the "Other Contacts" group), whenever I search for a contact in the phone I get a list of all the emails that also match my search. this is so annoying.
I enabled the option "Only contacts with phones" in the settings, but that seems only to affect the contacts that are displayed in the list, search is not affected by it.
I also tried changing the "Contacts to display" option to use a customized list and selecting only the desired group (My Contacts) from my Google account, but nothing was affected except for the list itself.
Any way to change that behavior without installing a third party dialer app?
Samsung has changed the settings in Galaxy S2 so it is no more possible to simply say: [Settings] > [Call settings] > [All calls] > [Show my number] > [Hide] This option does no longer exist that simple. Has anyone found out where Samsung has hidden this functionality so I can choose to hide my phone number. ?

A friend, with an older version of Galaxy Note, can Show only contacts with phone number on his contact list. It's seem to be impossible with my S6... Is it possible to add the trick? Or maybe I Missed something.

After dialing Verizon *611 or when calling voicemail, the number keypad is disabled and the numbers are gone or moved to different locations so I can not enter PIN. I am sure it is a software issue. Tried a hard reset with no luck. VZ authorized retailer believes he can fix this problem by wiping clean and reinstalling one app at a time. Has anyone else had same problem and any luck with a fix?
