I have a flashed a rom that I think did not work for my model ( Now my phone says model number is SM-G925K) and I have no more signal. I believe the model number is the issue, but I'm not sure..

I have become the proud owner of an old (estimate 6 years) Nokia prepaid phone. How do I find its model number? Looking at the pictures of phones on the Nokia website, nothing jumps out at me. Was owned by a family member who recently passed away. No paperwork, not even how many minutes/time left on the prepaid card.

I switched from an iphone 3gs to an android a few months ago, but when some (not all) friends w/ iphone's text me, it tries to send it as an imessage from their phones. I don't receive the texts for hours at a time. Is there something I can do to prevent this? Or is on their end? This has even happened with people who I have exchanged numbers with well after I made the switch from iphone to android which I find particularly weird.

I've just bought a Xperia Z3 but the LTE Frequency does not seem to work.I registered the phone on Sonymobile.com, but the software versión changes everytime I enter the site.For example, yesterday the version of software asociated to my phone was 23.2.A.1.62, today, earlier was 23.1.A.0.726, now the version I see is 23.0.A.2.93.
A friend told me that knowing the version of software asociated to my IMEI I can check if the model is the D6603 or the D6653.I bought the model D6603 because that is supposed to be the model that works with LTE frecuencies on my country.The D6653 does not work with LTE on my country.
I got a reply from a guy who had the same Proximity Sensor issue I have an he said his first iPhone was week 22 and his replaced iPhone was week 26. How do you know based on the serial number if a replacement iPhone4 is newer or older based on reading the model number? My current iPhone4 serial number starts with 8602.... how old is this one and how will I know if my replacement I am going to pick up today will be a newer model?

I have a strange problem on my G920T that's been bugging me for a while. After flashing a custom ROM, my EFS was messed up. I had backed it up prior to any custom ROMs. All works well n the phone except whenever it's rebooted it fails to register to T-Mobile's network.
So I have to bring up the dialer, type in *#2263# and choose Band Selection, then LTE, then LTE All (which is already asterisked) and tap it again. Only then will it register on the network and then works fine. I've tried everything under the sun including restoring EFS backup, flashing back to stock, etc., to no avail.
Any script that automatically runs the above process after reboot. I don't know enough to do so, and I'm not sure one exists.
As my phone is rooted, I can't update phone through OTA.
There just came a new firmware on Sammobile (May 21) and I downloaded it. If I flash it, will my phone be wiped?
Also, if it do. Is there anything "to do" so I can get everything with it?
I called Sprint to change my address and phone number, and my iPhone 4s stopped being able to place or receive calls. I now just get "We could not complete your call.Sprint is clueless, and I don't think it's the phone - wifi works, the phone is fine as far as I can tell, I can call *2, but no other number.

My Torch (my 6th BB) somehow switched the number of icons per screen configuration from many icons to a single icon per screen. The Torch screen locking mechanism is too sensitive and my BB unlocked in my pocket (this is a major defect).Once unlocked my "pocket" must have launched a shortcut from the touch screen reconfiguring the number of icons per screen. I was told by a BB guru that I would probably have to reload the OS software to get the standard configuration back. how to launch the icon settings short cut? What is absurd and annoying is that there is no way to change the number of icons per screen from all the Options (tool icon) menu.

View 4 Replies View RelatedLoving my new S6, battery ok for me, thought lack of SD slot would bother me but not actually missing it even though only using 32GB model. Screen is awesome along with the camera, can leave my slr at home now and use the S6 for casual photos... One thing I would love to see Samsung implement is in the phone logs, I would love to see all calls from the same number grouped and the time and date of the call alongside. Its a little annoying when a umber has called you multiple times in one day and there is a logged separate entry for each call. That is my only improvement for me.

So then I tried changing it to my actual phone number, and now it won't let me. Everyone I try, it just says voicemail number has been changed, then I hit ok, but nothing actually changed. View 2 Replies View RelatedI can't seem to find a way to change the default behavior of the Contacts app to search only for contacts that have a phone number.
My contacts are synchronized with my Google account and since Google saves all used emails as contacts (in the "Other Contacts" group), whenever I search for a contact in the phone I get a list of all the emails that also match my search. this is so annoying.
I enabled the option "Only contacts with phones" in the settings, but that seems only to affect the contacts that are displayed in the list, search is not affected by it.
I also tried changing the "Contacts to display" option to use a customized list and selecting only the desired group (My Contacts) from my Google account, but nothing was affected except for the list itself.
Any way to change that behavior without installing a third party dialer app?
Samsung has changed the settings in Galaxy S2 so it is no more possible to simply say: [Settings] > [Call settings] > [All calls] > [Show my number] > [Hide] This option does no longer exist that simple. Has anyone found out where Samsung has hidden this functionality so I can choose to hide my phone number. ?
I wonder why Samsung has chosen to make that so complicated
